Abstract: A storage tote includes a main body with a base wall and a plurality of side walls. The base wall has a center area, a central ridge, a first side ridge, and a second side ridge. The center area is bounded by the plurality of side walls. The central ridge bisects the base wall. In addition, the central ridge has a first wall, a second wall, and a third wall. The first side ridge and the second side ridge are disposed across the center area and oriented parallel to the central ridge. The first side ridge is spaced apart from the first wall of the central ridge, while the second side ridge is spaced apart from the second wall of the central ridge.

Abstract: An electronic device displays an image during a communication between two people. The image represents one of the people to the communication. The electronic device determines a location where to place the image and displays the image such that the image appears to exist at the location.

Abstract: A helmet rim lighting system comprises a helmet attach mechanism and a housing holding electronics. When attached to a helmet, the housing produces both forward and downward lights. The forward light is generated by at least one forward-facing light, and the downward light is produced by at least one downward-facing light. The forward light directs light from the center horizontally to the left and right, both over 90 degrees, while the downward light is directed towards the ground, continuing the downward line of the helmet’s edge. The helmet attach mechanism is designed to match the contour of a helmet’s front rim. The system can independently activate the forward and downward lights and may include a single input for control. The housing and circuitry are waterproof, and the diffuser can serve as a gasket.

Abstract: A flexible coupling mechanism may be used to suspend a structural component, such as a propulsion pod, from a support member, such as a strut of a hydrofoil watercraft. The flexible coupling mechanism may include multiple vibration isolating mounts configured to extend through the support member to suspend the structural component. The vibration isolating mounts may include a plurality of elastomeric bushings configured to prevent direct contact between a component rigidly coupled to the support member and a component rigidly coupled to the structural component. The elastomeric bushings may include a tapered outer profile configured to provide a nonlinear force feedback profile in response to rotation of the support member relative to the structural component.

Abstract: A watercraft and a waterproof electronics container are provided. The watercraft includes a flotation portion. A strut is removably affixed to a portion of the watercraft. A first connector portion is mounted to the upper end of the strut. A waterproof electronics container includes a second connector portion is disposed such that the second connector forms at least one electrically conductive pathway with the first connector portion when both are affixed to the watercraft. The waterproof electronics container is removably affixed to the said watercraft. In one aspect, the waterproof electronics container houses a power source capable of powering an electric motor that propels the watercraft.

Abstract: Disclosed and described herein are embodiments of an articulated utility pole that facilitates repair and/or reinstallation in the event of damage to the pole caused by wind loading (e.g., storms), trees or other items striking the utility lines, collisions with the poles, and the like. Also disclosed herein are methods of repairing and/or re-installing the articulated utility pole. Further disclosed herein are components for fabricating an articulated utility pole.

Abstract: A method assists in playing sound of a graphical representation for an electronic communication between a first person with a first portable electronic device (PED) to a second person with a second PED. The method displays a first visual indication that when selected plays the sound of the graphical representation in stereo or mono sound and a second visual indication that when selected plays the sound of the graphical representation in binaural sound.

Abstract: A retaining wall extension system for extending a retaining wall, wherein the retaining wall includes an existing wall cap having an upper surface defining an elevation of the retaining wall, with the upper surface having a length and a width. The retaining wall extension system includes an extension cap arranged to be received by the existing wall cap of the retaining wall. The extension cap includes a first portion arranged to be received by the upper surface of the existing wall cap, and a second portion integrally formed with the first portion, wherein the second portion extends vertically upward from the first portion so as to extend the elevation of the retaining wall. A method of extending a retaining wall is also provided.

Abstract: A collar device and method of use is provided comprising a tubular structure having a longitudinal axis, the tubular structure comprising a pneumatic bottom portion configured for contouring with human shoulders; a pneumatic top portion having a first section, and a second section extending from the first section; and a plurality of pneumatic pillars each generally aligned with the longitudinal axis of the tubular structure, the plurality of pneumatic pillars each having a proximal end in proximity to the bottom portion and each having a distal end in proximity to either one of the first section or the second section of the top portion.

Abstract: A personal watercraft is disclosed including a flotation portion, a strut extending from the flotation portion, and a motor pod is disposed along the strut with an electric motor operably coupled to a driveshaft. A hydrojet unit is removably attached to the motor pod and includes an inlet portion removably attached to the motor pod and a substantially cylindrical housing. The inlet portion includes a substantially conical motor interface with a shaft through-hole for receiving the driveshaft therein, one or more fins extending outwardly from the conical motor interface, and at least one ring encircling the conical motor interface and connecting to each of the one or more fins for inhibiting objects from passing through the inlet region. The housing defines a fluid flow path to an outlet portion. The hydrojet unit includes an impeller coupled to the driveshaft and a stator disposed within the housing.

Abstract: The innovation relates to a pool covering system that is usable as a flooring surface. The pool covering system includes brackets that support beams spanning the pool opening. The beams provide structural support to cross members and flooring placed on top of the beams. The pool covering system does not require significant drainage of the pool and does not damage the pool structure during installation and use.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method comprising: receiving an input of a geolocation for detection of one or more target objects within an area; retrieving data related to the one or more target objects from a historical detection module, the historical detection module having performed the following: analysis of a plurality of content streams for a plurality of target objects, detection of the plurality of target objects within one or more frames of the plurality of content streams within the predetermined area, and storage of data related to the detected plurality of target objects, aggregating the retrieved data related to the one or more target objects with the following: weather information of the predetermined area, and locational orientation of the user; and predicting, based on the aggregated data, one or more predictions of the geolocation and timeframe for detection of the one or more target objects within the predetermined area.
