Abstract: The invention relates to building products that contain graphene and/or graphene oxide in the bulk component thereof. The addition of graphene and/or graphene oxide improves the mechanical properties of said building products, particularly in terms of strength.
Abstract: A corner section for installing a window or door frame in a sealing system is disclosed. The corner section has a corner region of a trough or a tanking, i.e., it is open on two sides and bent upwards on two sides to form a tanking. When installed, the corner region encloses a corner of a window frame or door frame and is in contact with the reveal. The open sides are positioned in horizontal window direction and face the outside of the reveal. The corner section ensures that the system is sealed against driving rain and provides for a second water-drainage level in the system.

Abstract: The invention described herein pertains to formaldehyde free, thermosetting liquid high solids binder compositions having rapid cure times on thermal curing and slow cure times at ambient temperatures so that the uncured binder compositions and products which comprise the uncured binder compositions have improved shelf lives.
Abstract: A binder comprising the products of a carbohydrate reactant and polyamine is disclosed. The binder is useful for consolidating loosely assembled matter, such as fibers. Uncured fibrous products comprising fibers in contact with a carbohydrate reactant and a polyamine are also disclosed. The binder composition may be cured to yield a fibrous product comprising fibers bound by a cross-linked polymer. Further disclosed are methods for binding fibers with the carbohydrate reactant and polyamine based binder.

Abstract: A bullet projectile resistant drywall structure for building a rifle bullet resistant separation wall, the drywall structure comprising a plurality of drywall profiles arranged in a manner so as to form a drywall sub structure capable of attaching building boards thereto, each drywall profile having a base portion and connected thereto parallel extending flange portions with an outer site capable of fixing building boards thereto by screws; a plurality of inner gypsum fiber boards arranged between the drywall profiles so as to extend between adjacent base portions of the drywall profiles and a plurality of outer gypsum fiber boards respectively attached to both outer sides of the parallel extending flange portions.
Abstract: A method for producing a gypsum plasterboard comprising the steps of providing bundler dust obtained from gypsum plasterboard leftovers of a plasterboard trimming process by a trimming device, in particular by a bundler saw; and adding at least a part of the bundler dust to a gypsum slurry for producing the gypsum plasterboard.
Abstract: A gypsum fiber board produced in a Siempelkamp dry-process, comprising 75 wt % to 90 wt % (relative to the total dry mix) of calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate and 10 wt % to 25 wt % (relative to the total dry mix) paper fibers, wherein the calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate is a mixture of ?-calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate and ?-calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate, wherein the content of ?-calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate in the mixture is at least 5 wt % (relative to the total calcium sulfate hemi-hydrate) is disclosed. Also disclosed is a method for producing a gypsum fiber board of a thickness of 23 mm in a Siempelkamp dry-process.

Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention is a method for producing coated, and in particular painted, building boards (1), preferably for the interior finishing of buildings. First, the respective building board (1) is provided on its longitudinal edges (2) and/or transverse edges with a bevel (4). Then, the respective building board (1) is transferred to a rubber-like transporting belt (7) in such a way that the edges (2) respectively provided with the bevels (4) are arranged transversely in relation to the conveying direction (F) of the transporting belt (7) and the bevels (4) are arranged adjacent to a visible side (6) of the building board (1), facing away from the transporting belt (7).
Abstract: The present invention relates to binder compositions with an improved amine component, and a method of manufacturing a collection of matter bound by said binder compositions.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a water-soluble pre-reacted binder composition, a method of its manufacture, a use of said pre-reacted binder composition, a method of manufacturing a collection of matter bound by a polymeric binder, a binder solution or dispersion comprising said pre-reacted binder composition, as well as products comprising the pre-reacted binder composition in a cured state.

Abstract: Sound-permeable lining (1) for covering perforations (21) shaped in an acoustic plasterboard (2). The sound-permeable lining (1) comprises a first ply (12) of a fleece material and attached thereto a second ply (14) which is arranged in between of the first ply (12) and the acoustic plasterboard (2) to which the sound-permeable lining (1) is to be applied. The second ply (14) being of a foil material having a second opacity O2 and a plurality of through-holes (141) formed therein. The first ply (12) has a first opacity O1 so that the through-holes (141) formed in the second ply (14) are invisible through the first ply (12) and so that the applied sound-permeable lining (1) has an overall opacity O12 to allow for optically covering the perforations (21) shaped in the acoustic plasterboard (2) and an overall air flow resistivity Rs12 to allow for the penetration of air so that sound can propagate via the sound-permeable lining (1).
