Abstract: An activating composition for bleaching textiles with peroxide products, taining an activator of the cyanamide type or derivative thereof, further contains a ternary protective mixture comprising a magnesium silicate precipitated in the finely divided powder state, a sequestering agent of the acetic type, preferably organoacetic, and a sequestering agent of the phosphonic type, preferably organophosphonic. The composition finds its application in activation of bleaching at moderate temperature with protection of textile fibers, of household washing powders at moderate temperature (30.degree. to 60.degree. C.) or any temperature (up to 90.degree. C.).

Abstract: A device for controlling ignition timing in an internal combustion engine includes a vibration detector responsive to engine vibrations, and comparison means for determining when the output signal of the vibration detector exceeds a base noise output value for that particular cylinder, stored during a previous cycle. The operation of the vibration detector and the comparison means is controlled in response to angular position of the crank shaft so that the base noise value and the detected noise value for each individual cylinder can be determined separately, by defining a given angular position window during which pinging or pre-ignition is likely to occur on any given cylinder. On the basis of the comparison thus effected, the normal ignition advance signal is either unaffected (because no pinging has occurred) or subject to an ignition retardation component (when pinging has occurred) in order to relieve that given cylinder of pinging.

At an intermediate radial point of the plates, a liquid nitrogen injector which enables reduction of the temperature of the product during treatment and making the grinding zone inert is fitted. Another characteristic, the invention permits rapid intervention taking into account the information on the substance flow rate at the headbox, eliminating the usual disturbing influences due to the hydraulic values of the process.

Abstract: An installation for an hotel room has a frame carrying two ice-boxes which are disposed one above the other, in a head-to-foot arrangement. The frame is slidably supported for movement to a drawn out position in which it is located in a corridor giving access to two adjoining hotel rooms, thus allowing the responsible hotel staff to check the contents of the ice-boxes and, if necessary, to restock them. The frame can be moved away from the corridor into a chest situated at the wall separating the two adjoining rooms and which is provided with apertures situated at the levels of the doors of the two ice-boxes.
