Abstract: A method and a device for cooperative location of a first node possessed by a first mobile body comprising several nodes able to transmit and/or receive a signal by wireless means, comprises a step of measurements of distances separating the first node from second nodes, each of the second nodes being possessed by one of the following entities chosen from among: the first mobile body, a remote fixed apparatus and a second mobile body both situated within transmission range of the said mobile body, at least two nodes from among all the second nodes used to perform the distance measurements being possessed by two entities of distinct types and/or by the second mobile body, a step making it possible to utilize the measurements so as to locate at least the first node at least in relation to some of the second nodes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion containing portions of hollow spheres of organosilicon-based material, the portions of hollow spheres having a mean diameter ranging from 0.05 to 10 ?m. The invention also relates to physiologically acceptable emulsion compositions comprising hollow spheres, and to a process for fading out skin surface defects, in particular to reduce the sheen of the skin and/or to fade out pores, shadows under the eyes, marks, wrinkles and/or fine lines, comprising the topical application to the skin of the above-mentioned compositions.

Abstract: Call placement to or from satellite UEs is optimized by reducing IMS message exchanges, the originating party has control over QoS parameters, a HPA subscription service is made available, and calls to a terminating satellite UE that is shielded from satellite coverage are completed by selectively employing HPA pages. For a call request without preconditions, an IMS node associated with an originating UE uses the NRSCPA on Offer instead of using the standard terminating node initiated NRSCPA on Answer. An IMS node associated with a terminating UE checks for HPA subscription by the user. If subscribed, the terminating INVITE request is for a “Conversational” or “Interactive” service, and the terminating UE is in PMM_IDLE state, the satellite RAN pages the terminating UE using HPA.

Abstract: A controlling node for a cellular communications system, arranged to determine and transmit commands for Transmit Power Control, TPC, to one or more Mobile Terminals, MTs, in at least one cell in the system. The controlling node is arranged to classify an MT as being in one of a number of states, and to use differing methods for determining an MT's TPC command depending on which state the MT is in, so that one method is used for determining TPC commands to an MT in the active state and another method is used for determining TPC commands to an MT in the passive state.

An anode-side catalyst composition comprising a catalyst having catalyst particles carried on electrically conductive material and an ion exchange resin, characterized in that the catalyst particle are formed of an alloy, of which oxygen reduction capability and water electrolysis are both lower than those of platinum, and which has hydrogen oxidation capability.

Abstract: A method, medium, and apparatus are disclosed for indexing multimedia content by a computer. The method comprises segmenting the multimedia content into a plurality of segments. For each segment, the method identifies one or more features present in the segment, wherein the features are of respective media types. The method then identifies, for each identified feature in each segment, one or more respective keywords associated the identified feature. Then, the method determines, for each identified keyword associated with an identified feature in a given segment, a respective relevance of the keyword to the given segment. The respective relevance is dependent on a weight associated with the respective media type of the identified feature.

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a user equipment (10), a radio base station (12) and methods therein for handling transmission power control of the user equipment (10). The user equipment (10) is served by the radio base station (12) in a serving cell (i) controlled by the radio base station (12). The radio base station (12) or user equipment obtains a first pathloss from the user equipment (10) towards the serving cell (i) and a a second pathloss from the user equipment (10) towards an interfered cell (j). The radio base station (12) or the user equipment (10) then selects a value of one or more parameters, respectively, which one or more parameters are to be used to control a transmission power of the user equipment (10) and which value is selected based on the first pathloss and the second pathloss.

Abstract: A technique for providing task priority related information intended for task scheduling in a system (100) is provided. Abstract: The application relates to the transport of SS7 signaling over an Internet Protocol based network and in particular to the routing of SS7 Signaling Network Management SSNM Messages such as Destination Unavailable DUNA and Signalling Congestion SCON by a SIGTRAN relay node. The SSNM messages are checked against a so-called “validation rule”, which either specifies a list of allowed affected point codes or a threshold rate of SSNM messages with the same affected point code. If the SSNM message is “valid” it is sent to a so-called “broadcast domain” which comprise nodes such as signaling endpoints or component of one or more application servers.

Abstract: Signalling messages in an Internet Protocol, IP, communications network comprising a chain of at least two entities (21; 23; 29) applying object oriented processing (22; 28; 42) of signalling messages are exchanged between the at least two entities (21; 23; 29) of the IP communications network comprising object oriented based data items. Parsing and inverse parsing of text based signalling messages are effectively avoided, thereby reducing system resources and increasing processing speed of the system as a whole.

Abstract: A method and a system are provided which are able to utilize indirect paths of signals of UWB type to locate a wireless communication node possessed by a body. The present method and system can notably apply to cooperative body networks implementing several wireless nodes able to communicate with one another.

Abstract: A through-wall radar system includes a transceiver configured to receive and transmit multiple radar signals, each radar signal associated with a frequency that nominally passes through a barrier. Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and apparatus for the separation of air by cryogenic distillation. In particular, it relates to a process for separation of air using three cryogenic distillation columns for the production of gaseous oxygen. Certain embodiments of the invention are particularly efficient for the production of gaseous oxygen at pressures between 30 and 45 bars abs, in which the oxygen is produced by removing liquid oxygen from a distillation column, pressurizing the oxygen and vaporizing the pressurized liquid by heat exchange with air.

Abstract: A pseudo-dual-port (PDP) memory system includes a memory array, timing and control logic, and multiplexer-latch (MUX-latch). The MUX-latch comprises integrated address selection logic and latching logic, such that the combination multiplexes and latches an address in a single change in response to a state change in the read select or write select signals. The multiplexing and latching defines a single operation or state change in the MUX-latch. Since the multiplexing delay and the latching delay for a read operation are coincident with each other rather than being incurred one after the other, memory read operations are fast.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of globally balancing the transmit power in a cellular radio system with tight reuse of frequencies, to a central controller node, and to an access point that in combination with conventional power control schemes balances the downlink transmission power on reused frequencies in order to balance co-channel interference in a multi-cell environment. The power balancing scheme dynamically assigns a token to or takes a token away from an individual reused radio channel based on quality of, or based on transmission power in the channel. A token, if taken away from the channel, inhibits conventional power control thereby freezing the transmission power in the channel on its current power level. A token, if assigned or re-assigned to channel, re-assumes conventional power control thereby allowing dynamic variation of the transmission power in the channel in accordance with the conventional power control.

Abstract: A method of operating a telecommunications network (20, 20?) comprises detecting an insufficient software situation for a target radio base station (28); a software source server (36) authorizing obtention of satisfactory software for the target radio base station from a source radio base station; and, the target radio base station obtaining the satisfactory software from the source radio base station. In example embodiments, the insufficient software situation can be either a missing software situation or an upgrade-required software situation.
