Abstract: A method and a device for cooperative location of a first node possessed by a first mobile body comprising several nodes able to transmit and/or receive a signal by wireless means, comprises a step of measurements of distances separating the first node from second nodes, each of the second nodes being possessed by one of the following entities chosen from among: the first mobile body, a remote fixed apparatus and a second mobile body both situated within transmission range of the said mobile body, at least two nodes from among all the second nodes used to perform the distance measurements being possessed by two entities of distinct types and/or by the second mobile body, a step making it possible to utilize the measurements so as to locate at least the first node at least in relation to some of the second nodes.

Abstract: Call placement to or from satellite UEs is optimized by reducing IMS message exchanges, the originating party has control over QoS parameters, a HPA subscription service is made available, and calls to a terminating satellite UE that is shielded from satellite coverage are completed by selectively employing HPA pages. For a call request without preconditions, an IMS node associated with an originating UE uses the NRSCPA on Offer instead of using the standard terminating node initiated NRSCPA on Answer. An IMS node associated with a terminating UE checks for HPA subscription by the user. If subscribed, the terminating INVITE request is for a “Conversational” or “Interactive” service, and the terminating UE is in PMM_IDLE state, the satellite RAN pages the terminating UE using HPA.

Then, the method determines, for each identified keyword associated with an identified feature in a given segment, a respective relevance of the keyword to the given segment. Abstract: A pseudo-dual-port (PDP) memory system includes a memory array, timing and control logic, and multiplexer-latch (MUX-latch). The MUX-latch comprises integrated address selection logic and latching logic, such that the combination multiplexes and latches an address in a single change in response to a state change in the read select or write select signals. The multiplexing and latching defines a single operation or state change in the MUX-latch. Since the multiplexing delay and the latching delay for a read operation are coincident with each other rather than being incurred one after the other, memory read operations are fast.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of globally balancing the transmit power in a cellular radio system with tight reuse of frequencies, to a central controller node, and to an access point that in combination with conventional power control schemes balances the downlink transmission power on reused frequencies in order to balance co-channel interference in a multi-cell environment. The power balancing scheme dynamically assigns a token to or takes a token away from an individual reused radio channel based on quality of, or based on transmission power in the channel. A token, if taken away from the channel, inhibits conventional power control thereby freezing the transmission power in the channel on its current power level. A token, if assigned or re-assigned to channel, re-assumes conventional power control thereby allowing dynamic variation of the transmission power in the channel in accordance with the conventional power control.
