The first microfluidic valve may include a fluid agitator to break a meniscus formed at an air-fluid interface and release fluid from the first reservoir into the fluid channel in response to an electrical signal. Each cache server configured to receive a request from a personal content server to register with the content delivery network, receive a request from a mobile capture device to establish communication with the personal content server, and establish a communication path through the overlay network between the mobile capture device and the personal content server. Each cache server is further configured to transfer content from the mobile capture device along the communication path to the personal content server.

The first device and the second device are associated with the second network. Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing nanocelluloses from a cellulose substrate including cellulose fibers, the method including the following sequence of steps: —a step of enzymatic treatment of the cellulose substrate, by bringing same into contact with at least one cleaving enzyme, then—a step of mechanical treatment of the cellulose substrate subjected to the step of enzymatic treatment, in order to delaminate the cellulose fibres and obtain the nanocelluloses. The at least one cleaving enzyme is chosen from the enzymes belonging to the family of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) capable of achieving cleavage in the presence of an electron donor. Also disclosed are the nanocelluloses obtained according to the method.

Abstract: In an example, an air filter system includes an air filter and a thermally conductive particulate sensor (TCPS). The TCPS includes a temperature sensor to measure a first temperature of the TCPS at a first time, measure a second temperature of the TCPS at a second time, and provide the measured first temperature and the measured second temperature to a controller. The controller to determine an actual rate of temperature change based on the measured first temperature and the measured second temperature, compare the actual rate of temperature change to a target rate of temperature change, and provide a notification when a difference between the actual rate of temperature change and the target rate of temperature change is greater than an accumulation threshold indicative of a threshold amount of particulate accumulation on the TCPS.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing cDNA infectious clones based on the genome of an attenuated Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (PRRSV) and uses thereof for preparing efficacious and safety-enhanced vaccines against PRRSV. The invention further comprises an infectious cDNA clone obtainable by such method. The invention further provides an attenuated modified PRRSV, and immunogenic compositions and vaccines comprising that attenuated PRRSV. The present invention further provides the attenuated PRRSV for use in the prophylaxis and/or the treatment of PRRSV infections, and the attenuated PRRSV for use as vaccine or medicament in the prophylaxis and/or the treatment of PRRSV infections.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a print engine, a power supply apparatus, and a processor. The print engine is to print an image. The power supply apparatus is to supply power to the image forming apparatus and have a zero cross detection circuit to output zero cross information of input alternating circuit (AC) power. The processor is to determine whether the AC power is input using an output signal of the zero cross detection circuit. In response to an operation mode of the image forming apparatus being a normal mode, the zero cross detection circuit outputs zero cross information on a full wave of the input AC power. In response to an operation mode of the image forming apparatus being a power-saving mode, the zero cross detection circuit outputs zero cross information on a half wave of the input AC power.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus measures, using a toner concentration sensor installed in a developing apparatus of the image forming apparatus, a toner concentration of a developer stored in the developing apparatus to obtain an output waveform. The image forming apparatus calculates, based on the output waveform, a first characteristic value corresponding to a volume of the developer. Based on a result of comparing the first characteristic value with a reference value calculated from a reference output waveform obtained in an initial state of the developing apparatus, the image forming apparatus determines whether to execute a discharge mode for discharging the developer from the developing apparatus and to control an amount of the developer.
