Abstract: The present invention provides a method to more efficiently recover hydrogen and carbon dioxide as well as a design for carbon dioxide capture from syngas that allows for the simultaneous production of medium to high amounts of hydrogen and the capture of at least 90% of the carbon dioxide in the syngas as a part of the production of hydrogen in a hydrogen generation plant. Through the use of a combination of hydrogen selective membranes and carbon dioxide selective membranes together with a carbon dioxide separation unit it is possible to increase recovery of hydrogen and carbon dioxide and improved process efficiency of the hydrogen generation plant.

Abstract: A removable mattress cover adapted to fit mattresses of different heights and keep bed bugs out of the mattress. The mattress cover has three different zipper tracks, two of which may be combined to form a zipper. One of the zipper tracks is around the perimeter of a removable top which may quickly and easily be removed and be laundered without moving the mattress. The cover has a zipper closure which utilizes hook and loop fasteners to cover a zipper opening, regardless of which two zipper tracks are combined. Abstract: There is provided a method for handling subscriptions from a subscriber node (700) to changes in data relating to a user held at a database node (900) in a telecommunications system. At the subscriber node (700) a subscribe message is prepared (S1) comprising: first information identifying first data which the subscriber node (700) wishes to receive in a notification message in response to a change to the first data; second information identifying second data which the subscriber node (700) wishes to receive with such a notification message; and third information, different to the first information, specifying a condition to be fulfilled in relation to third data before such a notification message is sent. The first, second and third data each relate to the user and are held at the database node (900). The subscribe message is sent (S2) towards the database node (900). The subscribe message sent from the subscriber node (700) is received (S3) at the database node (900).

Abstract: The invention relates to a method in an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function, ANDSF, node for distributing Closed Subscriber Group information. The CSG information comprises an Allowed CSG List of a first UE and cell information indicating position of a cell with controlled access associated to the Allowed CSG List. The method comprises retrieving an Allowed CSG List of the radio cell from a CSG Database over a first network 10 interface (CSGi) between the ANDSF node and the CSG Database. • Publication number: 20120120813
Abstract: A method is proposed for determining the round-trip delay for sending multimedia data, such as voice or video data, between a first network node and a second network node over a communications network, where data is encapsulated in data units comprising at least one frame of encoded data. The method includes the steps of: said first network node sending a request for reconfiguration of the data unit structure to the second node; the first node detecting a reconfiguration response from the second node, where the reconfiguration response comprises at least one data unit of data having a structure that corresponds to the request for reconfiguration. The first node then measures the time elapsed between sending the reconfiguration request and detecting the reconfiguration response and determines a value for roundtrip delay using said measured time. In accordance with a first embodiment, the request for reconfiguration is a request to change the encoding mode of the multimedia data.

Abstract: A synchronous packet switch comprises output modules, input modules, optical connections and a switch control unit. The output modules comprise optical receivers each configured to receive optical signals at a different wavelength. The input modules receive electric signals carrying data cells to be routed. Each input module comprises optical transmitters, each configurable to generate an optical signal at a different wavelength, and routing apparatus comprising output ports. Each output module has at least one output port allocated to it. The routing apparatus is configurable to route a received optical signal to a selected output port. The optical connections are arranged to couple output ports to respective output modules. The switch control unit controls routing of the optical signals from the transmitters to the output modules and generates a routing control signal for configuring the routing apparatus to route an optical signal from a transmitter to a selected output port.

Abstract: Fluid-cooling technology developed for printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronics assemblies is combined with optical-based interconnect technology, thereby enabling efficient fabrication of PCBs with free-space optical bearers. Since cooling components such as fans and heat sinks are no longer required on the PCB, the PCB is thinner and makes better use of a cooling substrate by also using it to carry optical signals. A card or a backplane supporting a plurality of active components can combine optical signals and cooling aspects in support of those components.

  • Patent number: 8179783
Abstract: A system, method and node for modulation and coding scheme adjustment for a Long Term Evolution (LTE) shared Data Channel. The method determines an actual number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, NOS utilized for the shared Data Channel. A modulation order for transmission of data on the shared Data Channel is increased when the actual number of OFDM symbols NOS is less than 11 and decreased when NOS is more than 11. A modulation and coding scheme field (IMCS) of a downlink control information of the shared Data Channel may also be determined. If 0?IMCS+11?NOS?28, the modulation order is modified by utilizing a factor of (IMCS+11?NOS) in a standardized modulation scheme. If it is determined that IMCS+11?NOS<0, the modulation order is set to Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK). If it is determined that IMCS+11?NOS>28, the modulation order is set to 64 Quadtrative Amplitude Modulation (64QAM).
