Abstract: A basic device for an image sensor includes a photogeneration and charge-collecting region formed at the surface of a semiconductor substrate having a first type of conductivity, adapted to be biased at a reference voltage, the photogeneration region being associated with a device for the transfer, multiplication, and insulation of charges. The photogeneration region has an insulated gate mounted thereon, which is adapted to be alternately biased at a first voltage and at a second voltage, the insulated gate being made of a low-absorption material.

Abstract: Methods and social media portal servers are provided for facilitating the exchange of messages between portal servers of telecommunications networks. When a first user creates a message destined to a second user in a second telecommunications network via a first social media portal server servicing the first telecommunications network, the message is received by the second social media portal server that services the second telecommunications network including the second user, and the second portal server detects the message originated at the first social media portal server based on an indicator comprised in the message. Then, the second portal server inserts in the message a second short code associated with the second social media portal, or replaces the existing short code with a second short code, and sends the message comprising the second short code to a messaging center for delivery to the user, thus rendering the message with the second short code routable in the second telecommunications network.

Abstract: An information processing system for offering a remote access from a device to a virtual service provided in a local network is provided. The virtual service invokes native services provisioned by a service provider. The system comprising: a management unit managing service information specifying a shortcut component of the service: an obtaining unit obtaining a request for the virtual service from the device; a receiving unit receiving the service information from the management unit; a specification unit specifying a shortcut component for the requested virtual service based on the received service information; an invoking unit executing the specified shortcut component by invoking native services to the service provider, and transferring the other component of the requested virtual service to the local network; a combination unit combining results; and a response unit responding the combined result to the device.

The method comprises the steps of receiving (101) the mobile terminal information from the base station indicating available system carriers; detecting (102) at least one dynamic parameter indicative of the mobile terminal's current capability to handle non-contiguous system carriers; determining (103) from the dynamic parameter whether a situation has occurred where the mobile terminal's capability to handle non-contiguous system carriers has been reduced; modifying (104), in such case, feedback information to be transmitted to the base station; and transmitting (105) the modified feedback information to the base station.

Abstract: A method for enabling traffic acceleration in a mobile telecommunication network. The method includes the steps of receiving, at a Radio Network Node, a reply message from a content delivery provider located outside the mobile telecommunication network; intercepting the reply message; extracting a token from the reply message; comparing the token with a stored token in the Radio Network Node; replacing in the reply message, an Internet protocol IP address of a content delivery provider server with a preset IP address corresponding to an acceleration edge server in the mobile network, when there is a match between the token and the stored token; and sending from the Radio Network Node the modified reply message to a mobile terminal.

The embodiments relate to methods and arrangements exercising automated collection of network performance statistics as an alternative to drive tests and reporting function called Minimizing Drive Tests (MDT). The described embodiments for reporting of measurements in a wireless communication system include acquiring suitable confidence information.

Abstract: The invention relates to an application server in a telecommunications network for transferring a communication session from a first connection between a first client and a remote client to a second connection between a second client and the remote client. The communication session comprises a media path and a signalling path. The application server being arranged to a) receive a transfer request, b) send a set-up request to the second client, for setting up the second connection, c1) transfer the signalling path, c2) transfer the media path, d) send an update message towards the remote party, the update message comprising an indication that the transfer has been executed, and e) send a termination message to the first client to terminate the first connection.

Abstract: There is described a method of delivering data from a server to a client device in a network. Data packets with a first source address are sent in a first session from the server to the client device. A Session Switch Information (SSI) message, including a second source address, is sent from the server to the client device. A second session is configured between the server and the client device, and data packets with a second source address are sent in the second session from the server to the client device. The same transport protocol may be used for both sessions, and the method can be 10 used to switch between unicast and multicast delivery.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method, a performance data transmission device and a computer program product for performing performance management reporting from a first to a second node in a communication system. The reporting concerns communication over one communication interface of a node in the communication system and the performance data transmission device comprises a data collecting unit that obtains performance data relating to the communication over the communication interface for transmission to the second node and configuration data, a data scheduling unit that schedules the transmission of performance data and configuration data in a sequence of consecutive reports according to a reporting scheme, where the sequence makes up a set of reports, and a transmitting unit that transmits the reports according to the reporting scheme and where configuration data is only present in a subset of the set of reports including at least one report.

Abstract: A method for separating metal carbon nanotubes with a single graphene layer (m-SWNT) and semiconductor nanotubes with a single graphene layer (sc-SWNT) is provided. The method may comprise a step for grafting, notably by radical chemical grafting, a diazonium salt derivative on a mixture of m-SWNTs and sc-SWNTs so as to obtain a mixture of grafted m-SWNTs, and non-grafted sc-SWNTs, whereby the grafted m-SWNTs and the non-grafted sc-SWNTs separate because of differential chemical and/or physical properties caused by said grafting. In addition, a kit for separating m-SWNTs and sc-SWNTs is provided.

The method also comprises generating a data signal indicative of said optical signal to noise ratio.
