Abstract: Methods performed by a resource management node for managing resource nodes connected to a network are disclosed. An example method includes establishing clusters of the resource nodes and associated data flows that are permitted between the resource nodes within each cluster and a user equipment node through the network, and associated rules that control the data flows. A first one of the rules is determined to have been satisfied for controlling a data flow for a first resource node in a first cluster. Information is communicated to the user equipment node that causes the user equipment node to prioritize handling of the data flow for the first resource node and other resource nodes in the first cluster in response to the first rule being satisfied. Related resource management nodes and user equipment nodes are disclosed.

Abstract: Providing a simpler mechanism to connect a dual mode mobile terminal to a wireless communication network. This is achieved by a method of connecting a dual mode mobile terminal to a wireless communication network using a mobile attachment mode or a fixed attachment mode. A first step (S10) is executed to detect an operative transfer state of the dual mode mobile terminal triggering a transfer from the mobile attachment mode to the fixed attachment mode (e.g. when a subscriber plug his dual mode mobile terminal into a special cradle connected to Internet via DSL). Abstract: A method implemented by a first provider equipment (PE) device to enable operations, administration and management (OAM) functionality over a pseudo-wire (PW) between the first PE device and a second PE device, wherein the PW traverses a packet switched network and carries control channel messages and a flow of data packets, and where the packet switched network includes nodes that use information outside a pseudo-wire label stack of the data packets for determining multi-path routing, the method including receiving a control channel message at the first PE to be forwarded over the pseudo-wire to the second PE, and prefixing the control channel message with a pseudo-flow header to ensure that the control channel message is forwarded over a same route by the nodes of the packet switched network as the data packets of the flow, thereby enabling OAM functionality to be accurately performed for the pseudo-wire.

In an example embodiment, a method for a receiving device having a nonparametric G-Rake receiver entails calculating an impairment covariance matrix and determining combining weights. More specifically, the impairment covariance matrix is calculated based on a pilot channel using a nonparametric mechanism in a MIMO scenario in which a code-reuse interference term exists. The combining weights are determined for the nonparametric G-Rake receiver responsive to the impairment covariance matrix and by accounting for the code-reuse interference term.
