Abstract: A system for providing a cooking rack, with or without a complementary container. The rack can comprise lateral elements and longitudinal elements arranged to form a grid. The rack can comprise a gate that can be affixed in a first position and moved from the first position to a second position. In the second position, items can easily be removed from the rack without lifting the items. The rack can further comprise one or more handles to facilitate movement of the rack by the user. The system can comprise a rack and a complementary pan. The pan can comprise a radiused bottom to enable the rack to sit in the pan above the bottom of the pan. The pan can further comprise one or more handles to facilitate movement of the pan by the user.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices and methods for sealing containers. The device can include a seal, a spring, and an eccentric or ramp. In a first position, the spring and the seal can be retracted enabling the device to be placed in the opening of a container. In a second position, the spring can expand the seal enabling it to seal against a sealing surface of the container. The device can create a replaceable bottle cap assembly that conforms to the top of a non-threaded beverage container. The device can provide a lid for a variety of storage containers, including food storage containers. The device can form a watertight or airtight seal. The device can be used to form a movable lid for a container or to join multiple containers together.

Abstract: A rolling pin with an adjustable offset for flattening or rolling out dough at a consistent thickness. The adjustable offset rolling pin includes a rolling pin body; a removable offset system for maintaining the rolling pin body a predetermined distance above a surface; a locking system for temporarily maintaining the offset system adjacent the rolling pin body; and a triggering mechanism for disengaging the locking system during the addition or removal of the offset system. More specifically, the adjustable offset rolling pin includes a rolling pin body; a plurality of end caps partially received by the rolling pin body; a plurality of handles adapted for engagement with the end caps; a plurality of push-buttons partially received within the handles; a plurality of offset discs configured to engage the end caps; and an offset disc holder adapted to store the plurality of offset discs during non-use.

Abstract: A suction device that may be configured and conformed to a multitude of different types of kitchenware, small appliances, and other devices. The suction device comprises a base, a handle, a pivot, a plate, and a suction pad. The suction pad is connected to the plate. Two bridge-like structures with sloped undersides extend from the plate. The handle extends from the underside of one of the bridge-like structures, through the pivot, to the underside of the second bridge-like structure, and out through an elongated slot in the base. The handle is in sliding contact with the sloped undersides of the bridge-like structures.

Abstract: A beverage container comprises a body for containing a liquid, and a cover assembly for permitting drinking of liquids while preventing accidental spillage of same. The cover assembly includes an open state to permit liquid to be poured from the body and a closed state to prevent liquid from being poured from the body. The beverage container permits drinking from all sides of its top and further enables state change (from open to closed) while holding the container with a single hand.

Abstract: A spice grinding and dispensing device generally intended to be used for grinding one spice in a first portion and a second spice in the other portion. Each portion of the dual spice grinder includes a handle or trigger that activates an independent rasp mechanism. When the trigger is pressed, the rasp activated thereby moves down and forces ground spice through an opening. The pressure of the rasp against the inside of the bottom of the grinder breaks up the spice, and only spice that is properly sized can fit through the opening. Furthermore, the opening may be adjustable so that a user can create a coarse or finely ground spice.

Abstract: A substantially flat, heat-resistant baking sheet has a baking surface, a rolled periphery and a baking area within that periphery. The baking area has numerous through-holes. A generally upright wall, integrally formed with the sheet, extends along the first part of the periphery, defining an upper edge. The height of the wall varies from a maximum to a minimum predetermined height, and the wall substantially encloses the baking area along the first part of the periphery. In the example shown, the baking sheet is rectangular: the wall extends along three sides and the fourth side has no wall. A baked product can be slid or pushed off this fourth side without being lifted, the side serving as a slide-off chute or ramp. Condensation between the baking sheet and the baked product evacuates through the holes to allow the surface against the sheet to bake to a crisper consistency.
