  • Patent number: 10977376
Abstract: Described is a system for session workflow information flow analysis. The system automatically checks security of an existing software that controls session identifications (IDs). If a security error is identified in the existing software, then security of the existing software is improved by labeling a session ID in a session workflow as high confidentiality, such that the session ID remains only in confidential channels. Non-owner channels and authorization server channels are labeled as public channels. The session ID is type checked with a security type system, and security of the session ID is verified.

  • Patent number: 10979782
Abstract: System and methods for selecting one of the alternative streams of encoded media from a group of alternative streams of encoded media for use during start-up of playback of the encoded media in accordance with embodiments of this invention are disclosed. The systems and methods begin by determining an estimated stability period for a current bandwidth of a communicative connection between the playback device and a remote system providing the alternative streams of encoded. A test process is then performed on the streams of encoded media to select one of streams of encoded media that provides portions of said encoded media such that an underflow condition does not occur during the estimated stability period. The streaming of encoded media is then commenced by requesting the portions of encoded media be transmitted from the remote server using the selected stream.

  • Patent number: 10977077
Abstract: A computing node may receive, from a set of computing nodes including the computing node, a corresponding set of heartbeat messages related to selecting a scheduler computing node for scheduling one or more jobs for the set of computing nodes. The computing node may determine, based on the set of heartbeat messages, whether the computing node is to be selected as the scheduler computing node based on: whether the computing node has been selected as the scheduler computing node a fewest number of times as compared to other computing nodes included in the set of computing nodes, and whether the scheduler is being executed by any computing node included in the set of computing nodes. • Patent number: 10979018
Abstract: A focusing interdigital transducer (IDT) and corresponding single- and dual-port piezoelectric devices are disclosed. The focusing interdigital transducer, which generates Lamé acoustic waves, permits operation at significantly higher frequencies than those possible with traditional IDTs. The focusing IDT employs multiple arced fingers formed both above and below the piezoelectric layer to improve coupling efficiency by coupling through both the e31 and e33 piezoelectric coefficients to the piezoelectric layer. By optimizing both anchor design and location, acoustic wave losses are minimized, thereby improving the device's quality factor Q. Through proper bus design and selection of the number of IDT fingers, a device's impedance can be tuned for a given application. The focusing IDTs may be used in single-port filter devices and dual-port transformer devices. The single- and dual-port devices may operate at a single frequency, at two frequencies, or over a band of frequencies.
