Abstract: An intrauterine device for preventing egg fertilization having a membrane, a frame having a first arm and a second arm, the first and second arms movable from a first position to a second more expanded position. The frame supports the membrane to move the membrane between a first position to a second more expanded position, wherein the first and second arms are non-planar and each arm has a proximal portion, an intermediate portion and a distal portion, The first arm has a bend at the intermediate portion so that the intermediate portion of the first arm lies in a different plane than the proximal portion of the first arm and the second arm has a bend at the intermediate portion so the intermediate portion of the second arm lies in a different plane than the proximal portion of the second arm. An elongated tail portion extends proximally of the membrane. The membrane can have a convex distal portion.

Abstract: A system for providing a thermal interface material on a tray for an electric vehicle battery includes a material dispensing system (MDS) and a vision system. The MDS includes a set of pumps, a robotic dispensing system (RDS), and a controller. The set of pumps includes a first pump to house a first material and a second pump to house a second material different from the first material. The RDS is fluidly coupled to the set of pumps and dispenses a third material on the tray in a defined pattern, where the third material is a mixture of the first and second materials. The vision system is configured to capture a first set of images. The controller is configured to determine a nozzle offset of the RDS based on the first set of images and control a position of the RDS based on the nozzle offset.

Abstract: A relevance system ranks a set of medical studies based on a relevance of each medical study in the set of medical studies to a patient profile. The relevance system includes a relevance model. The relevance model determines a relevance of each medical study to the patient profile based on a semantic relationship score, a concept relationship score, and a term-occurrence score. The semantic relationship score is a measure of a similarity in semantic meaning of a medical study and a patient profile. The concept relationship score is a measure of the closeness of medical concepts in a medical study to medical concepts in a patient profile. The term-occurrence score is a measure of occurrences of terms in a medical study that also appear in a patient profile and the statistical significances of the terms.

Abstract: A chemical mechanical polishing composition for polishing a substrate having a polysilicon layer includes a water based liquid carrier, a silica abrasive, an amino acid or guanidine derivative containing polysilicon polishing accelerator, and an alkali metal salt. The composition includes less than about 500 ppm tetraalkylammonium salt and has a pH in a range from about 10 to about 11.

Abstract: Flag information associated with the current block is obtained in coded information, which indicates whether the current block is intra predicted based at least in part on an intra mode derivation. In response to the flag information being true, a plurality of candidate intra modes is determined based on neighboring samples of the current block. A first intra mode of the current block is determined based on a first syntax element that is included in the coded information. The first syntax element indicates the first intra mode of the current block from a most probable mode (MPM) list and a MPM remainder. A second intra mode of the current block is determined based on the first intra mode and the plurality of candidate intra modes. The current block is reconstructed based on the first intra mode and the second intra mode.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a television mount concealer assembly and a method of operating the television mount concealer assembly are described. In one example, the television mount concealer assembly can include a television mount and an adjustable concealer assembly for placement behind a wall-mounted television. The adjustable concealer assembly comprising a front panel, a rear panel, a first flexible sidewall, and a second flexible sidewall. The rear panel can be configured to be placed adjacent to a wall in which a television is mounted, and the front panel can be adjusted between a first position and a second position in order to expand and contract the adjustable concealer assembly.

Abstract: Devices and systems are provided for improved article sortation. An example sortation device includes a frame and a sortation table movably attached to the frame. The sortation table defines a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a body extending therebetween. The second end pivotally attaches the sortation table to the frame, and the body defines a first surface configured to support an article thereon. The sortation device performs a tilt operation in which the sortation table rotates about the pivotal attachment between the second end and the frame in a first direction. The sortation device also performs a bomb bay operation in which the sortation table rotates about the pivotal attachment between the second end and the frame in a second direction opposite the first direction. An example sortation system is provided that includes two or more of the example sortation devices.

Abstract: An improved ultraviolet (UV) blocking fabric that has an ultraviolet protection factor (UPF) rating of at least 49 in accordance with AATCC 183. The fabric does not require ultraviolet protecting coating(s) or finish(es) or such other treatment for achieving the desired ultraviolet protecting efficiency. Further, the fabric affords maintenance of the UPF rating even after the fabric has been subjected to several laundering cycles.

Abstract: A thermal accumulator assembly (TAA) for a vehicle waste heat recovery system (WHRS) utilizing a two-phase coolant includes a hermetically sealed housing having a separator plate dividing an interior of the housing into a higher pressure first chamber and a lower pressure second chamber. A pressure control valve is disposed between the first and second chambers. A first inlet port is connected to the first chamber and configured to receive a first flow of coolant. A first outlet port is connected to the first chamber and configured to a second flow of liquid coolant to a heat generating component in the WHRS. A second inlet port is connected to the first chamber and configured to receive a third flow of heated coolant from the heat generating component. A second outlet port is connected to the second chamber and configured to supply a fourth flow of vapor coolant to the WHRS.

Abstract: Digital content distribution methods, systems and devices are provided. The digital content distribution utilizes a content distribution server for providing a user device access to digital content. In certain embodiments, the content distribution server: (a) receives a check-out request from a user device via a content access device; (b) provides metainfo to the user device via the content access device; (c) receives an open content command comprising an identifier of the digital content and an identifier for a user from the user device; (d) determines from the open content command whether the user device is authorized to view the digital content; and (e) provides a license response to the user device based on the user device being authorized to view the digital content, the license response comprising a license and the digital content.

Abstract: A computing device receives user selection of a data source. In accordance with the user selection, the device generates one or more initial natural language utterances according to metrics of data fields in the data source and/or previous user interaction with the data source. Each of the initial natural language utterances corresponds to a respective suggestion to guide visual analysis of the data source. The device displays the initial utterances in a graphical user interface. The device receives user selection of a first initial utterance of the initial utterances. In response to the user selection, the device generates and displays a first data visualization in accordance with data fields and/or analytical operations specified in the first initial utterance. The device also generates updated natural language utterances in accordance with the first initial utterance and the first data visualization, and displays the updated utterances with the first data visualization.

Abstract: A computer implemented method for prescribing optimized medical interventions includes retrieving a patient's updated electronic medical record (EMR) and mapping the diagnosis of the patient to a medical treatment database to select a plurality of likely medical intervention choices based on a score exceeding a defined threshold score. The method includes determining a rank order of the selected plurality of medical intervention choices by comparing simulation outcomes for each choice executed by the medical predictive algorithm, on respective choices among each of the selected likely medical interventions. The method also includes receiving by the patient's physician or patient's electronic medical record database, a rank order of recommended medical intervention choices including possible options and associated metrics based on an accepted level of simulated outcome.

Abstract: A waterproof architectural element comprising an elongated panel member composed of compressed fibrous material having a first planar surface and an opposed second planar surface. At least one elongated cellulose layer is composed of Kraft paper having paper basis weight between 30 and 90 pounds and an average thickness between 0.003 and 0.009 inches. The elongated substrate has a first planar face and an opposed second planar face. A polymeric layer overlies at least a portion of the first planar face of the elongated substrate and comprises a polymeric blend of between 50 and 80 wt. % styrene butadiene copolymer and 0.2 and 3 wt. % of a cellulose ether compound. The cellulose ether compound comprises hydrogen or an alkyl group selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, hydroxyethyl, hydroxypropyl carboxymethyl, hydroxyethyl methyl, hydroxypropyl and between 30 and 50 wt. % calcium carbonate and water.

Abstract: Systems and methods for delivering content to user equipment are described. The content may be delivered using Internet Protocol (IP) delivery, Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) delivery, or another delivery format. For example, the system may receive content including a plurality of segments. The system may use manifest data to identify each of the plurality of segments. The system may also use the manifest data to generate index data for the plurality of segments, and the index data may be delivered to user devices with the plurality of segments. In some aspects, the system may use location information (e.g., timestamps, such as program clock references) for one or more data packet of the one of the plurality of segments to generate location information for other data packets.

Abstract: The present inventions include a rotating electromagnetic machine such as a motor or generator wherein changes of flux direction adjacent the air gap are avoided. The disclosed improvements apply to permanent magnet alternators, induction motors and generators, doubly fed induction generators, and the like. Adaptation of coils to and fixation within the required slot geometries are disclosed. Excitation systems co-located within the primary rotor core and primary stator core are also disclosed. The use of rubber vulcanized to the rotor in conjunction with a stainless steel rotor sleeve is also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for authenticating a mobile user via an authentication method determined based on a token level associated with the action being completed. An authentication token is created corresponding to the token level and the authentication token is sent to the mobile device. This authentication token may be used to authenticate subsequent actions and engage various services to complete the actions using application programming interfaces. The authentication token stored on the mobile device obviates the need for a user to authenticate multiple times to complete actions requiring a similar token level. The system may authenticate the identity of the mobile user using various authentication methods.
