Abstract: In aspects of personal content managed during extended display screen recording, a screen recording system includes a wireless device that provides digital image content for display on an extended display device, and a screen recording session on the wireless device captures the digital image content and audio data. The wireless device implements a content control module that can determine the screen recording session would capture personal content associated with a user of the wireless device. The content control module can initiate a private screen review mode in which the personal content is displayable on a display screen of the wireless device and is prevented from visual display on the extended display device. The content control module can also generate a shareable screen recording that includes the audio data and the digital image content displayed on the extended display device, without including the personal content.

Abstract: Systems and methods for pointing photovoltaic arrays for optimal power generation. One or more methods among a plurality of methods for pointing an array may be used by a spacecraft control system to point the array. Example methods to use to point the photovoltaic array relate to analyzing current output, analyzing image data, and analyzing computational knowledge of reflective bodies or light sources. The spacecraft may be further controlled to reduce shadow by re-orienting, receiving light reflected off spacecraft, and orienting a photovoltaic array relative to incoming light sources based on topographic properties of the array such as cell grooves.
Abstract: Determining and hiding a replaceable period of a MP (Media Presentation). A method for determining includes receiving a first MPD (Media Presentation Description) that identifies a predetermined period and at least one media segment of the MP to be presented during the predetermined period. A determination is made as to whether the first MPD includes additional data to be resolved by an application. The additional data is provided to the application when the first MPD is determined to include the additional data. Additional period information is received from the application. A second MPD is generated based on the received additional period information. The MP is output for display to a user based on the second MPD. Each of a subset of the at least one media segment for a replaceable sub-period of the MP is replaceable with an alternate media segment.
Abstract: The mouthpiece includes an enhanced mouthpiece, a data sensor, and a personal data device. The data sensor collects data regarding the bite force, the number of bites and the duration of each bite. The data sensor wirelessly transfers the collected data to a personal data device.
Abstract: The disclosed technology includes a collar that can output a first corrective action having a first correction magnitude, detect feedback information, and determine a second correction magnitude based at least in part on the feedback information. The collar can output a second corrective action responsive to determining that the collar is within a predetermined distance from an adverse device. The collar can receive map data and automatically determine a first geographical area in which it is permissible for a collar to be located and/or a second geographical area in which it is impermissible for the collar to be located, the collar being related to the system.
Abstract: A fastening system for an object (e.g., a wearable such as footwear) is disclosed that includes a buckle assembly and a strap for adjusting tension. The buckle assembly includes a base and a slider engaged with the base. The strap includes an array of teeth to engage with a pawl formed on the base. The fastening system is configurable between an engaged condition and a released condition based on the positioning of the slider relative to the base.
Abstract: A parallel processing architecture includes a CPU, a task pool populated by the CPU, and a plurality of autonomous co-processing cells each having an agent configured to proactively interrogate the task pool to retrieve tasks appropriate for a particular so-processor. Each co-processor communicates with the task pool through a switching fabric, which facilitates connections for data transfer and arbitration between all system resources. Each so-processor notifies the task pool when a task or task thread is completed, whereupon the task pool notifies the CPU.

Abstract: A system for implementing object state distributions obtains a first object state distribution associated with a first image set. The first object state distribution includes a first plurality of object state vectors generated based upon (i) a first set of object type classifications associated with the first image set and (ii) a first set of image information based on the first image set. The system obtains a second object state distribution associated with a second image set. The second object state distribution comprises a second plurality of object state vectors generated based upon (i) a second set of object type classifications associated with the second image set and (ii) a second set of image information based on the second image set. The system determines a distance measure between the first object state distribution and the second object state distribution and assigns a label based upon the distance measure.
Abstract: A fire protection sprinkler system and method includes a sprinkler which, in use, is operatively connected to a supply pipe. The sprinkler includes a nipple. A frame extends from the nipple. A duct passes through the nipple and frame creating a flow path for a water jet exiting the supply pipe. A deflector is mounted to the frame at a location spaced from the nipple. A splitter is disposed in the water flow path between the supply pipe and the deflector. The splitter separates the water jet into two distinct sub-jets before the water contacts the deflector. The splitter directs the two separate water streams onto the deflector so that less pressure is required resulting in more economical system smaller pipe size, less labor, etc.
Abstract: A touch sensor device (TSD) includes TSD electrodes associated with a surface of the TSD. Also, an overlay that includes marker electrode(s) is also associated with at least a portion of the surface of the TSD. The TSD also includes drive-sense circuits (DSCs) operably coupled to the plurality of TSD electrodes. A DSC is configured to provide a TSD electrode signal to a TSD electrode and simultaneously to sense a change of the TSD electrode signal based on a change of impedance of the TSD electrode caused by capacitive coupling between the TSD electrode and the marker electrode(s) of the overlay. Processing module(s) is configured to process a digital signal generated by the DSC to determine characteristic(s) of the overlay that is associated with the at least a portion of the surface of the TSD.

The model can be a dynamic model of the specific conditioned space in which the pulldown or pull-up is being performed. The controller can further determine when a pulldown or pull-up will be completed and provide notifications based on whether the pulldown or pull-up can be completed by a particular time. The model can be updated based on system dynamics observed during pulldown or pull-up.
