Abstract: Methods and systems for service integrated domain name servers are described. A method for out of path border gateway protocol (BGP) validation includes receiving, at a network component, a prefix announcement. The network component denies acceptance of the prefix announcement. A BGP monitor at the network component sends the prefix announcement to an out of path validation controller. The out of path validation controller evaluates the prefix announcement against one or more validation tests, sends a validation notification based on the one or more validation tests, and programs the network component for a validated prefix announcement.

Abstract: A preform is provided for blow-molding to form a container. The preform includes a finish portion for rotatably engaging a closure to seal contents within an interior of the container. The finish portion comprises a cylindrical body that begins at an opening to the interior and extends to and includes a tamper evidence ledge. A bevel at a beginning of the opening receives a plug seal of the closure. A sealing surface adjacent to the bevel is disposed along an interior of the finish portion and includes a polished buffer zone to cooperate with the plug seal to seal the container. A transition surface extends from the sealing surface to a handling surface that receives equipment to form the preform into the container. In some embodiments, the transition surface includes a polished buffer zone to cooperate with an end of the plug seal to seal the contents in the container.

Abstract: A conductive coating may be adhered to a structure comprising a hydrophobic and/or adhesion-resistant surface. The conductive coating may have a polymer backbone with conductive particles suspended in the backbone. In some embodiments, the conductive coating may be applied directly to the surface. In other embodiments, the conductive coating may be indirectly applied by first applying a primer adhesive to the outer surface, and then applying the conductive coating over the primer adhesive. An example structure may be a catheter of an endoscopic medical device, such as a bipolar sphincterotome, where the conductive coating functions as a return electrode.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to the transdermal delivery of various compounds. In some aspects, transdermal delivery may be facilitated by the use of a hostile biophysical environment. One set of embodiments provides a composition for topical delivery comprising a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor and/or a salt thereof, and optionally, a hostile biophysical environment and/or a nitric oxide donor. In some cases, the composition may be stabilized using a combination of a stabilization polymer (such as xanthan gum, KELTROL® BT and/or KELTROL® RD), propylene glycol, and a polysorbate surfactant such as Polysorbate 20, which combination unexpectedly provides temperature stability to the composition, e.g., at elevated temperatures such as at least 40° C. (at least about 104° F.), as compared to compositions lacking one or more of these.

Abstract: Respective planned reference velocities of a reference vehicle are received for each of a plurality of time steps including a current time step. Respective sensed velocities of a subject vehicle for each of the time steps are determined from sensor data. Respective distances between the reference vehicle and the subject vehicle are determined for each of the plurality of time steps. A number of intervening vehicles between the reference vehicle and the subject vehicle is determined. Based on the planned reference velocities of the reference vehicle, the sensed velocities of the subject vehicle, the distance, and the number of intervening vehicles, a future velocity of the subject vehicle is predicted at a time step that is after the current time step.

  • Publication number: 20210103042
Abstract: The various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to devices, system and processes for detecting saturation of a received signal in a PAS system. A process may include detecting, in a received signal and during a measurement interval, one or more correlated signal levels. Based on one or more results of the detecting, the process may include identifying in a correlated output signal portions of the received signal which exceed a given magnitude threshold during the measurement interval and providing the correlated output signal to an electronic control unit (ECU). A magnitude detector outputs the correlated output signal. A saturation detector determines whether the received signal is saturated during a portion of a measurement interval. When the received signal is saturated, a saturation signal is generated and provided on a delayed basis to the ECU such that it is provided substantially contemporaneously with the correlated output signal.
