  • Patent number: 12280928
Abstract: The invention of the present disclosure may be a pressure sensitive locking mechanism comprising a first tine, a second tine, and a third tine. The locking mechanism may further comprise a tab disposed on the second tine, where the tab may be orthogonal to the second tine. In an embodiment, the second tine is configurable in a locked state and an unlocked state, where the second tine comprises a second tine bell disposed on the lower portion of the second tine, and where the second tine bell is tapered from the tab to an upper portion of the second tine. The tab may be configured to receive a pressure, application of the pressure may be configured to convert the second tine from the locked state to the unlocked state, and withdrawal of the pressure may be configured to convert the second tine from the unlocked state to the locked state.

  • Patent number: 12284499
Abstract: An audio system receives sounds from a local area with a set of sensors. The audio system analyzes the sounds to identify an amount of background noise in the environment. The audio system may also identify target sound in the environment, such as voice from a nearby speaker, to reinforce. The amount of background noise is then used to adaptively set a level of reinforcement for the target sound. In low-noise environments, the target sound may be minimally, or not reinforced, while in high-noise environments a reinforcement sound signal may be generated with the target sound so that a transducer array may generate reinforcing sounds for the target sound and increase its contrast with the noise in the environment. By applying the reinforcement dynamically, the system automatically adjusts for different sounds and environments.

  • Patent number: 12283206
Abstract: A tamper-evident label for a beverage cup is provided. The label includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and a middle portion defined within a label substrate. A second middle portion corresponding to the middle portion of the label substrate is defined in a liner substrate. Die cuts in the label substrate separate the top and bottom portions from the middle portion. The middle portion and the second middle portion separate together from the label as a single unit along the die cuts while the top portion and the bottom portion remain adhered to sides of the cup. Once the middle portion and the second middle portion are separated from the label, they are not capable of being reattached to the cup, which provides tamper-evident visual evidence of potential tampering with an opening of the cup to a consumer.

  • Patent number: 12282499
Abstract: A database processing system performs a first database access call accessing a first construct representing a differential component amount between a normal and different state. This identifies a plurality of components and, for each, a corresponding first association between (a) a change in amount of the respective component in a first plurality of first component datasets and a second plurality of second component datasets and (b) a change in state between the normal and different state. A second database access call accesses a second construct representing a measure of differential component amount between a native and exposed sample. The second construct identifies all or a portion of the plurality of components and, for each, a corresponding second association between a change of amount of the respective component between a third and fourth plurality of component datasets. The first associations and corresponding second associations determine whether the entity affects the transition.

  • Patent number: 12283212
Abstract: A method in an electronic device includes establishing, with a communication device, an electrical communication channel with a content presentation companion device. A communication device then queries the content presentation companion device for an identification of an aspect ratio of the content presentation companion device. A translation mechanism then causes a blade assembly carrying a flexible display to slide around a device housing sufficiently to reveal a front-facing area amount of the flexible display having dimensions corresponding to the aspect ratio. The method can also cause the front-facing area amount of the electronic device to match aspect ratios of other electronic device electronically in communication with the content presentation companion device.

  • Patent number: 12279816
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods that facilitate optical analysis, particularly for the diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors of the eye. An optical diagnostic method for an eye includes obtaining a sequence of aberration measurements of the eye, identifying an outlier aberration measurement of the sequence of aberration measurements, and excluding the outlier aberration measurement from the sequence of aberration measurements to produce a qualified sequence of aberration measurements. The sequence of aberrations measurements can be obtained by using a wavefront sensor. An optical correction for the eye can be formulated in response to the qualified sequence of aberration measurements.

  • Patent number: 12282792
Abstract: System and method are described for copying and pasting files and folders between a client and a virtual desktop via clipboard redirection. A virtual desktop session can be established by the client on the virtual desktop. The user can copy a file or folder to the virtual desktop clipboard and a path corresponding to the file or folder can be stored in the virtual desktop clipboard in a path list. When the user ungrabs the agent or switches focus out of the virtual desktop to the client, the path list can be transferred to the client device and set into the client clipboard. Subsequently, a request can be received in the client device to paste the copied file or folder to a target location in the client device. In response to the request, the client device can retrieve the contents of the copied file or folder from the agent and the contents can be placed in the target location to complete the paste operation.

  • Patent number: 12282503
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for automatically determining an intent of a user based on an intent model to attach a file to a document, prompting the user to confirm the intent using a predetermined character in an inline nudge, generating and displaying an inline menu with an interactive list of ranked files as a suggestion for attachment. The disclosed technology uses the intent for specifying a scope of the inline search. The intent model for attaching content maintained by third-party applications uses a combination of an embeddings model and an N-gram model with limited seed queries and determines the intent based on intent scores associated with respective third-party applications. The present disclosure ranks respective candidate content based on a degree of relevance to the intent. The user selects one or more content from the list for attaching to the document.
