Abstract: A door assembly for a seat unit provided within a vehicle cabin, in particular an aircraft cabin, the door assembly comprising at least a fixed base structure, a door element movably mounted on the base structure and which is movable between a fully retracted position and at least one deployed position, and a door slide device provided between the base structure and the door element to movably support the door element on the base structure. Further, the door slide device comprises at least a slide carrier bracket fixed to the base structure or the door element, at least one slide unit which is coupled to the slide carrier bracket in a normal operation mode, and at least one separate auxiliary slide arrangement.

Abstract: A method for detecting leaks in a casing involves running a fiber-optic distributed temperature sensing cable into a well casing to obtain at least one trace in real time. The method includes thermally conditioning the well by inert gas injection and utilizing a trace to calculate moving average temperature gradients at predetermined intervals, determine the mean and standard deviation of these gradients, and establish a lower control limit based on the mean and standard deviation. By identifying any moving average temperature gradient below the lower control limit, the method enables the determination of the depth associated with leaks in the casing.
Abstract: A method of blending at least two fuels includes providing at least two fuels to a helical static mixer via a fuel supply system, the fuel supply system including a fuel supply circuit for each fuel of the at least two fuels, mixing, via a plurality of helical structures of the helical static mixer, the at least two fuels to form a fuel mixture, determining, via one or more sensors, a measured interchangeability index of the fuel mixture, comparing the measured interchangeability index to a predetermined interchangeability index, adjusting, via the fuel supply system, one or more parameters of at least one of the at least two fuels based on the comparison between the measured interchangeability index and the predetermined interchangeability index, and providing the fuel mixture to a combustion system.

Abstract: A combination heat and steam oven according to the present invention includes a housing having an internal heating compartment, at least one dry heating element disposed within the heating compartment, a steam generating unit configured to produce steam for injection into the heating compartment, and a user interface. Abstract: An exemplary access control device is configured for mounting to a door and includes a bolt, an actuator, and an indicator. The bolt has an extended position and a retracted position, and includes a front face that is visible when the bolt is extended and the door is in a closed position. The actuator is operable to move the bolt from the extended position to the retracted position. The indicator is positioned on the front face of the bolt such that at least a portion of the indicator is visible when the bolt is extended and the door is in the closed position.
Abstract: A molten aluminum metal filter system having a holding tank operable to receive a molten metal, a filter device to filter the molten metal, a pump operable to continuously recirculate the molten metal through the filter device, and a casting device to receive a filtered molten metal from the filter device. The filter device includes a chamber, an inlet channel operable to convey the molten metal into the chamber, and an outlet channel operable to convey unused filtered molten metal out of the chamber and back into the holding tank. Removeable filter elements are disposed in series within the inlet channel. The removable filter elements are configured to remove inclusions above a determined diameter size from the molten metal. The filter device includes at least one nozzle operable to direct an inert gas flow to blanket the molten metal and a heating element.
Abstract: A management system for a hard drive dismantling system automatically monitors the operation and the output of the dismantling system either remotely or onsite. In one embodiment, the number of hard drives processed by the system is determined and a contract value is determined in real-time. A distributed ledger is employed. Payments are automatically transferred between a customer and a service provider according to a contractual arrangement. The market values of various components, such as rare earth materials, are also optionally provided.
Abstract: A passenger seat headrest may be provided for a passenger seat such as but not limited to an aircraft passenger seat. The passenger seat headrest includes a main portion, a wing, and a hinge connecting the wing with the main portion such that the wing is movable relative to the main portion about at least one axis. The hinge is adjustable such that a resistance to rotation of the wing relative to the main portion is adjustable.
Abstract: A system for determining lane information. A memory storing instructions executable by a processor includes instructions to receive forward image data of a roadway from a forward-facing camera of a vehicle, determine visible lane boundaries of the driving lane based on lane marking features in the forward image data, determine a predicted lane boundary of the driving lane based, at least in part, on forward features in the forward image data, and determine a driving path of the vehicle through the visible lane boundaries and the predicted lane boundary.

Abstract: Magnet wire including extruded insulation formed from a blend of different polymeric materials is described. A magnet wire may include a conductor and insulation formed around the conductor. The insulation may include at least one layer of extruded insulation formed from a blend of at least three different polymeric materials. A first polymeric material, such as polyetheretherketone, may have a thermal index above 250° C. Second and third polymeric materials, such as polyphenylsulfone and polyethersulfone, may have lower thermal indexes.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for collecting fuel vapors in a fuel system that includes a side mount fuel tank. The methods and systems may allow fuel vapors to be captured during filling of the side mount fuel tank. In one example, the side mount fuel tank is fitted with a fuel filler tube that extends into the side mount fuel tank so that fuel vapors may be captured while the side mount fuel tank is being filled.
