Publication number: 20240386359Abstract: Embodiments maintain historical activity information for a plurality of entity records. Each historical activity record includes a sequence-number that reflects a temporal position of the represented activity instance relative to other activity instances that targeted the corresponding entity. Based on this historical activity information, embodiments generate marginal value matrices (MVMs) that show the historical effectiveness of activities. Specifically, each entity is assigned to a bucket based on an associated entity score. An MVM charts a marginal value for each combination of bucket index and sequence-number, where the marginal value at each combination of bucket index and sequence-number is the average of the activity result values of the historical activity records, for entities assigned to the bucket index, having the sequence-number. Embodiments use MVMs to predict marginal values for activities targeted to each current entity of the salesperson.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2024Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: Xant, LLCInventors: Xinchuan Zeng, Michael Murff, Sameer Randal Manek

Publication number: 20240385340Abstract: A system for measuring gamma spectroscopy of a neutron irradiated material includes a plurality of semiconductor sensors. Each of the semiconductor sensors includes a gamma ray receiving surface disposed above a Shottky layer in contact with an n-doped active layer. The receiving surface is configured to emit electrons upon irradiation by gamma rays. The receiving surface contacts an adjustable telescoping mount configured to adjust the distance between the receiving surface and the Shottky layer. The n-doped layer is fabricated to have a thickness designed to pass through electrons having greater than a defined energy. The combination of adjustable receiving surface and active layer thickness define a minimum and maximum energy response of each of the sensors. Multiple sensors may be integrated in an array in which each sensor has its own energy response. An array of such sensors can measure the gamma spectrum of a material irradiated with neutrons.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2024Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: Westinghouse Electric Company LLCInventor: Michael D. Publication number: 20240383439Abstract: Presented are vehicle control systems and logic for provisioning remote vehicle services (RVS), methods for making/using such systems, and wireless-enabled vehicles executing RVS operations governed by such systems. A method of controlling an RVS operation of a vehicle includes a vehicle controller receiving, either directly or indirectly, a request to activate the RVS operation. Responsive to receiving the RVS activation request, wireless signal data is collected to determine wireless signal states of the subject vehicle and of multiple crowd-sourced vehicles proximal to the subject vehicle. Using the host vehicle's and crowd-sourced vehicles' wireless signal states, a signal state heatmap is generated with a spatial mapping of signal state magnitudes as a map overlay. The heatmap visualizes a signal state magnitude in an area surrounding the host vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2023Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLCInventors: Ali H. Publication number: 20240383459Abstract: Operating a vehicle with an open door creates risks. Embodiments herein consider both when a vehicle is in an autonomous driving (AD) mode and a manual mode. When in AD mode, if an occupant opens the doors while the vehicle is moving, the control system may lower the speed to stop and may park the vehicle (or not park it depending upon the control policy). If an occupant opens the doors when the vehicle is stationary, the control system may keep the vehicle from rolling and from brake system failures. When the vehicle is in a manual model and a door is opened when the vehicle is moving, a warning message may be triggered; whereas, if a door is opened when the vehicle is stationary, the control system may keep the vehicle from rolling and from brake system failures. Warning messages may be triggered for different stages/conditions.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2023Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: Apollo Autonomous Driving USA LLCInventors: Baoping YUAN, Yaoming SHEN
