  • Patent number: 12150206
Abstract: A home network serves a wireless service to visiting User Equipment (UEs) affiliated with visited networks and authorizes the wireless service for home UEs that are visiting the visited networks. A gateway transfers home context to a distributed ledger and receives visited context from the distributed ledger. The gateway transfers the visited context to a controller. The controller exchanges authorization data with the visited networks based on the visited context and the home context. The controller authorizes the wireless data service for the home UEs and the visiting UEs responsive to the exchange of the authorization data. The controller transfers session signaling to wireless access nodes responsive to the authorization of the wireless data service for the visiting UEs. The controller transfers authorization signaling to the visited networks responsive to the authorization of the wireless service for the home UEs.

  • Patent number: 12146054
Abstract: Hydrophilic composite structures are made by impregnating a 3DL structure with a polyurethane foam formulation and curing the formulation to produce a foam that occupies the spaces in the 3DL structure. The composite structures have an unusually good capacity for retaining water even when under compressive forces. They also exhibit at most moderate swelling when saturated with water. The foam is useful as a layer of a water containment system such as a green roof or blue roof system.

  • Patent number: 12145623
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to techniques for providing incremental remote assistance to a vehicle. A computing device initially receives location information from a vehicle that is autonomously navigating to a destination. Based on the location information, the computing device displays a representation of an environment of the vehicle and receives a first input specifying a first waypoint and a second input specifying a second waypoint positioned on the representation of the environment. The computing device is configured to limit a location of the first waypoint based on a first location of the vehicle, and a location of the second waypoint based on a second location of the vehicle or the location of the first waypoint. The computing device can then provide route instructions to the vehicle based on at least the first waypoint or the second waypoint.

  • Patent number: 12147411
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for maintaining bifurcated data management while labeling data for artificial intelligence model development. For example, the system may receive a first label for a first sample from a first dataset, wherein the first dataset is accessible to a first subset of a plurality of users, and wherein the first subset comprises a first attribute. The system may receive first version metadata of the first label, wherein the first version metadata comprises a proposed label for the first sample assigned by a first user. The system may determine, based on a first user input from the first user, a first grouping of source code files for storing the first version metadata, wherein the first grouping of source code files is accessible to a second subset of the plurality of users, and wherein the second subset comprises a second attribute.

  • Patent number: 12147540
Abstract: A system for implementing a secure boot event includes a system on a chip (SoC). The SoC includes key hashes stored within one-time programmable memory. Each of the key hashes is configured for use with one of a plurality of candidate authentication key sets. The SoC further includes firmware stored within RAM. The firmware includes a secondary bootloader, a plurality of public keys, and corresponding signatures. The public keys and corresponding signatures are configured for use with one of the key sets. The SoC further includes a primary bootloader utilizing fuses stored within the programmable memory. The fuses activate a selected key hash based upon an ecosystem in which the system is to operate. The selected hash and a corresponding public key and signature define an active authentication key set. During the event, the primary bootloader utilizes the active authentication key set to authenticate a downloaded update to the firmware.

  • Patent number: 12146386
Abstract: A downhole pump used for a reciprocating pump includes a barrel and a plunger. The barrel couples to a tubing string and has a standing valve. The plunger couples to a rod string and has a traveling valve. One or both of the valves can include an assembly comprising a housing and an insert. The insert allowing for flow therethrough has a ball stop and a ball passage. Positioned in the housing, one end of the insert engages a tapered sidewall in the housing. The insert is secured with metallic material metallurgically affixed between the insert and the housing. For example, brazing material can be brazed at the end of the insert to metallurgically affix the insert in the passage. A ball is positioned in the insert, and a seat is positioned adjacent an end of the insert. The assembly is then incorporated into components of the pump.

  • Patent number: 12147885
Abstract: A system for prospectively identifying media characteristics for inclusion in media content is disclosed. A neural network database including media characteristic information and feature information may associate relationships among the media characteristic information and feature information. Personal characteristic information associated with target media consumers may be used to select a subset of the neural network database. A first set of nodes, representing selected feature information, may be activated. The node interactions may be calculated to detect the activation of a second set of nodes, the second set of nodes representing media characteristic information. Generally, a node is activated when an activation value of the node exceeds a threshold value. Media characteristic information may be identified for inclusion in media content based on the second set of nodes.

  • Patent number: 12149537
Abstract: Access control management to shared resources in a common resource directory between different users of cloud data centers can be implemented as computer-readable methods, media and systems. A resource managing service receives a request to access resources of a resource directory managed by the resource managing service. The request includes a token for identity authentication. The resource managing service determined a container membership associated with the token, where the container membership is associated with a container from a set of containers for the resource directory. The container includes one or more resources in a tree data structure of the resource directory. The resource managing service filters access rights defined in authorization primitives associated with the container membership based on container policy rules for the set of containers in the resource directory. The resource managing service provides access to a set of resources from the resource directory.

  • Patent number: 12145057
Abstract: Using a camera or other tracking hardware, the attention of a player of a computer game (based on gaze direction, for instance) is tracked at key/predetermined points during game play. For example, when the player enters a new area in the game such as a simulated room, town, etc., it is determined what the player's gaze focuses on more, e.g., a dog huddled in the corner, a nobleman with obvious signs of wealth, or a shifty appearing figure in the shadows. Based on this input, one or more factors of future gameplay are determined, such as an order in which to present encounters/challenges, adjusting a character's “morality” score/flag, adjusting bonuses/penalties to non-player character (NPC) interactions, etc.
