Abstract: A system and method for redundant electric power for an electric aircraft is provided. The system includes a plurality of battery packs which includes at least a first pack monitor unit and at least a second pack monitor unit configured to detect a first battery pack datum and a second battery pack datum and transmit the pair of battery pack datum to a controller. Each battery pack. The system further includes a contactor coupled to the electric aircraft, a plurality of loads communicatively coupled to each battery pack of the plurality of battery packs, and a controller, wherein the controller is designed and configured to receive the first battery pack and the second battery pack datum, compare the first battery pack datum to the second battery pack datum as a function of a differential threshold, and generate an alert datum as a function of the comparison.

Abstract: A portable hybrid generator system includes a first unit and a second unit. The first unit includes a first housing, a first output port, and a primary energy source disposed within the first housing. The primary energy source is electrically coupled to the first output port. The second unit is separate from the first unit. The second unit includes a second housing, an input port, a second output port, and an energy storage device disposed within the second housing. The energy storage device is electrically coupled to the input port and the second output port. The energy storage device includes at least one battery. The input port and the first output port facilitate selectively electrically coupling the first unit to the second unit to charge the energy storage device. The primary energy source is specifically calibrated or calibratable to charge the energy storage device based on the at least one battery.

Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to an automated assistant that can render selectable suggestion(s) at a display interface of computerized glasses, and can adapt the suggestions according to changes to a gaze direction of the user and/or other further inputs from the user. The selectable suggestion(s) can be initially rendered based on contextual data that may be associated with a user who is directing their gaze into an environment that includes different environmental features. Certain environmental features can be identified by the automated assistant as being predicted to be of interest to the user and—when a user expresses interest in a particular feature—the selectable suggestions can be adapted. Interest of the user in the particular environmental feature can be expressed by redirecting their gaze towards the particular feature and/or providing further input relevant to the particular feature.

Abstract: A system comprising one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors perform: receiving, by a chat bot and from a user, an indication to talk to a live agent; calling, by the chat bot, an automatic call distribution server to initiate a live-agent session for the user; storing metadata for the live-agent session in a distributed table and a distributed queue; pulling, from an automatic call distribution connector, one or more messages from a conversation between the user and the chat bot based on the metadata; and connecting the live agent to the user in the live-agent session, wherein the user communicates with the live agent in the live-agent session through a same interface for the chat bot. The first base station sends, to the second base station and based on completion of the SDT procedure, a radio resource control (RRC) release message for the wireless device.

Abstract: Implementations can provide a virtual separate space with respect to a virtual venue hosting a virtual reality (VR) experience, such as a concert, a sports game, a meeting, etc., e.g., to replicate the feeling of a side conversation to discuss the VR experience. Some implementations can create a more intimate experience for users viewing a VR experience by providing a quiet, curated space that can be customized, e.g., by changing the look of users' avatars and their virtual environment, without their interactions being observed by others viewing the VR experience at the virtual venue. The virtual separate space can include a moderated version of the VR experience, such as a smaller version of the VR experience with the sounds of the VR experience muffled. Thus, users within the virtual separate space can step away from the VR experience to enter a more controlled environment, while still enjoying the VR experience.

An example system includes at least one memory, programmable circuitry, and instructions to cause the programmable circuitry to collect first uniform resource locator (URL) information from a server of an Internet-based media publisher, the first URL information corresponding to first media accessed by first users, determine first URL components in the first URL information, and determine feature-to-user assignment rules based on the first URL components.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a method for treating a gaseous exhaust stream containing nitrogen oxides (NOx) from a diesel or lean-burn gasoline engine following a cold-start of the engine The method involves contact of the gaseous exhaust stream with at least a low temperature NOx adsorber (LT-NA) component. The LT-NA component includes a rare earth metal component, a platinum group metal (PGM) component, and a dopant. The present disclosure is also directed to a method of modulating a NOx adsorption/desorption profile of an LT-NA composition, a NOx desorption temperature range of an LT-NA composition, or both.

Abstract: A fluid dispensing apparatus and liquid container with a fluid dispensing apparatus are provided. The fluid dispensing apparatus includes a valve body defining a bore that extends at least partially through a valve body, and an adaptor including a piercing member positioned to pierce a pierceable membrane enclosing the liquid container. The adaptor also includes a releasable fastener that cooperates with a portion of the liquid container to releasably couple the valve body to the liquid container. A liquid droplet production apparatus of the fluid dispensing apparatus controls a discharge of the liquid from the liquid container. The liquid droplet production apparatus includes a perforate membrane, and an actuator that is selectively operable to vibrate the perforate membrane and cause liquid droplets to be emitted from the perforate membrane and projected generally away from the liquid container.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums which utilize authentication tokens recorded to a blockchain to identify and/or authenticate participants of a network-based communication session such as a network-based meeting. When joining the meeting, the participant may provide a token recorded on a blockchain to the communication service from the blockchain. The communication service may then identify and/or authenticate the user based upon the provided token. Various user-specific customizations and settings may then be applied and the user may be admitted to the meeting without having to enter a waiting room and be explicitly let in.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for filtering in video decoding includes processing circuitry. For example, the processing circuitry determines first reconstructed sample values of reconstructed samples of a first color component within a filter support region of a to-be filtered sample of a second color component. The to-be filtered sample is at a center position of the filter support region. Based on a mapping that associates offset values with reconstructed sample values within the filter support region, a first offset value of the offset values in the mapping that is associated with the first reconstructed sample values is determined. The first offset value is applied on the second color component for the to-be filtered sample to determine a filtered sample value of the second color component for the to-be filtered sample.

Abstract: A system and method of detecting display fit measurements and/or ophthalmic measurements for a head mounted wearable computing device including a display device is provided. An image of a fitting frame worn by a user of the computing device is captured by the user, through an application running on the computing device. One or more visual markers each including a distinct pattern are detected in the image including the fitting frame. A model of the fitting frame, and configuration information associated with the fitting frame, are determined based on the detection of the pattern. A three-dimensional pose of the fitting frame is determined based on the detected visual marker(s) and patterns, and the configuration information associated with the fitting frame. The display device of the head mounted wearable computing device can then be configured based on the three-dimensional pose of the fitting frame as captured in the image.

The first converter station has first and second power converters, with the first power converter including a first DC terminal that is connected with the first transmission conduit, at least one AC terminal which is connected with a first AC network, and a second DC terminal that is interconnected with a third DC terminal of the second power converter by a first interconnection which defines a first neutral area. The second power converter additionally includes a fourth DC terminal that is connected with the second transmission conduit and at least one AC terminal which is connected with a second AC network.

Abstract: The technology relates to developing a highly accurate understanding of a vehicle's sensor fields of view in relation to the vehicle itself. A training phase is employed to gather sensor data in various situations and scenarios, and a modeling phase takes such information and identifies self-returns and other signals that should either be excluded from analysis during real-time driving or accounted for to avoid false positives. The result is a sensor field of view model for a particular vehicle, which can be extended to other similar makes and models of that vehicle. This approach enables a vehicle to determine when sensor data is of the vehicle or something else. As a result, the detailed modeling allowing the on-board computing system to make driving decisions and take other actions based on accurate sensor information.

In another aspect, provided herein are methods for determining the amount of testosterone in each of a plurality of human samples with a single mass spectrometric assay by subjecting each of a plurality of human samples to a different derivatizing agent to generate a differently derivatized testosterone in each of the plurality of samples; combining the plurality of samples to form a multiplex sample; and quantifying the amount of testosterone in each sample by mass spectrometry.
