The apparatus is part of a mobile device and comprises: an array of pixel cells each configured to perform an image sensing operation, one or more attributes of the image sensing operation being configurable based on an image sensing configuration; a sensor data processor configured to execute a hierarchical set of processing operations; and a controller configured to: receive, from the sensor data processor, a first-level processing output from a first-level processing operation of the hierarchical set of processing operations; and based on the first-level processing output satisfying a condition, control the sensor data processor to execute a second-level processing operation on at least one image frame captured by the array of pixel cells to generate a second-level processing output.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing multi-factor authentication based on visual objects associated with an out of band shared secret delivery channel and at least one user device of a telecommunication network include an access point communicatively coupled to an authentication system. The authentication system is structured to generate a set of visual objects, cause the set of visual objects to be output by a first user device, transmit, via an out of band shared secret delivery channel, a visual object request to cause a secondary user device to output one or more out of band visual objects, receive an indication of object selection from the set of visual objects, determine that the indication of the object selection is associated with a visual selection match among the set of visual objects, and based on the visual selection match, authenticate access to an application associated with the authentication system.

Abstract: An oral appliance device that selectively engages upper teeth and lower teeth within a human mouth includes an upper appliance member, a lower appliance member, and a first vertical shim. The upper appliance member selectively engages the upper teeth. The lower appliance member selectively engages the lower teeth. The appliance members are movable relative to one another between an open position and a closed position. The first vertical shim is removably secured to one of the appliance members. The first vertical shim has a first shim height so that a teeth spacing between the upper teeth and the lower teeth is maintained when the appliance members are in the closed position. The teeth spacing is at least as great as the first shim height. The oral appliance device can further include a second vertical shim that is alternatively, removably secured to one of the appliance members. The second vertical shim has a second shim height that is different than the first shim height.

Abstract: The present application relates to compositions comprising (E)-1,2,3,3,3-pentafluoro-1-propene (i.e., R-1225ye(E) or HFO-1225ye(E)), R-32, and, optionally, one or more additional components, that are useful in refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump systems. Methods of replacing R-134a or R-513A in refrigeration, air conditioning, or heat pump systems are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and vehicles that facilitate a light detection and ranging (LIDAR or lidar) system that may take advantage of “dead angles” where the lidar system is oriented toward support structure or another “uninteresting” feature. In such scenarios, light pulses may be redirected toward more-interesting features in the environment. An example system includes a lidar system configured to emit light pulses into an environment of the system so as to provide information indicative of objects within a default field of view. The system also includes a reflective surface optically coupled to the lidar system. The reflective surface is configured to reflect at least a portion of the emitted light pulses so as to provide an extended field of view. The lidar system is further configured to provide information indicative of objects within the extended field of view.

Abstract: A projector for illuminating a target area is presented. The projector includes an array of emitters positioned on a substrate according to a distribution. Each emitter in the array of emitters has a non-circular emission area. Operation of at least a portion of the array of emitters is controlled based in part on emission instructions to emit light. The light from the projector is configured to illuminate the target area. The projector can be part of a depth camera assembly for depth sensing of a local area, or part of an eye tracker for determining a gaze direction for an eye.

Abstract: A time stamp method of location leakage in an aeronautical band of a high split HFC includes: scheduling at a cable modem termination system (CMTS), a generation of a plurality of OUDP bursts by at least one cable modem (CM) within a node in a fixed sequence; measuring a field leakage detector time stamp of a plurality of detected OUDP bursts relative to a half second GPS synch pulse, and sending a report to a leakage data server with a set of current GPS coordinates of a leakage detector, a time stamp, a detected leak level, and a measured OUDP time stamp; and calculating at the leakage data server, a CM ID based on the measured OUDP time stamp and a duration of an OUDP burst combined with a query to the CMTS and a CM database, to define a physical address of a CM corresponding to the CM ID.

And the time needed to identify and transmit the identifier is significantly reduced in comparison to orally conveying the identifier to a customer services representative or keying in the identifier, and then verifying the identifier with the representative.

The clip is configured to anchor the device to a muscle, a bone, and/or a tissue. The first prong is configured to contact a heart. The first electrode is configured to contact the heart. Sensing circuitry in the housing that is configured to sense an electrical signal from the heart, and therapeutic circuitry in the housing is in electrical communication with the first electrode and is configured to deliver electrical stimulation to the heart through the first electrode.

Abstract: An advertising system is provided and generally includes a computing device that can receive attribute data from a plurality of information sources for an item. The computing device can determine a first number of sources for which the same attribute value for an attribute of the item is received, and can determine a second number of sources for which any attribute value for the same attribute of the item is received. The computing device can generate an attribute confidence value for the attribute based on the first number of sources and the second number of sources, indicating how likely the attribute value for the attribute is correct. The computing device can determine an item confidence value for the item based on multiple attribute confidence values for the item. Based on the item confidence value, the computing device may provide an attribute error signal indicating an attribute value error.
