Abstract: Described herein are novel fluorescent sensors for cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) that are based on single fluorescent proteins. These sensors use less visible spectrum than FRET-based sensors, produce robust changes in fluorescence, and can be combined with one another, or with other sensors, in a multiplex assay on standard fluorescent plate readers or live cell imaging systems.

Abstract: A motor drive unit for driving a motor of a motorized window treatment may comprise software-based and hardware-based implementations of a process for detecting and resolving a stall condition in the motor, where the hardware-based implementation is configured to reduce power delivered to the motor if the software-based implementation has not first reduced the power to the motor. A control circuit may detect a stall condition of the motor, and reduce the power delivered to the motor after a first period of time from first detecting the stall condition. The motor drive unit may comprise a stall prevention circuit configured to reduce the power delivered to the motor after a second period of time (e.g., longer than the first period of time) from determining that a rotational sensing circuit is not generating a sensor signal while the control circuit is generating a drive signal to rotate the motor.

The flange can also prevent light from entering into the user's ear canal. Abstract: A flood footprint estimation system that can generate a requested flood footprint is described herein. For example, the flood footprint estimation system can estimate water surface elevations at various points along a stream or river. The flood footprint estimation system can then perform a smoothing operation on the estimated water surface elevations to generate a trend line or curve of the estimated water surface elevations in which each point of the trend line or curve corresponds to a water surface elevation value that is no greater than any of the water surface elevation values of the previous points of the trend line or curve. The flood footprint estimation system can use the trend line or curve to perform an iterative water expansion to determine which geographic locations may flood. Results of the iterative water expansion can be provided to a user device in the form of a user interface.
Abstract: Methods and systems for rendering augmented reality display data to locations of a physical presentation environment based on a presentation configuration are provided. A physical presentation environment configuration may be accessed that includes locations of a physical presentation environment for mapping augmented reality display data. The augmented reality display data may include a plurality of augmented reality objects that are rendered for display. Presentation attributes of the augmented reality display data may be used in conjunction with the presentation configuration for mapping and rendering the augmented reality display data. The rendered augmented reality display data may be dynamically interactive, and may be generated based on previous presentation configurations, mapping preferences, mapping limitations, and/or other factors.

The system is configured to: calculate solar position and an expected vehicle shadow based on geocode location, time and vehicle dynamics; detect an actual vehicle shadow in an image from a vehicle camera; compare the actual vehicle shadow to an expected vehicle shadow; determine a dimension profile and max height point for a vehicle plus vehicle cargo based on a comparison of the actual vehicle shadow to the expected vehicle shadow; calculate a confidence level for the dimension profile and max height point for the vehicle plus cargo; and use the dimension profile and max height point to provide one or more dimension notifications when the confidence level for the dimension profile and max height point for the vehicle plus cargo are above a first threshold level.
