  • Patent number: 10797061
Abstract: Three-dimensional memory devices include structures that induce a vertical tensile stress in vertical semiconductor channels to enhance charge carrier mobility. Vertical tensile stress may be induced by a laterally compressive stress applied by stressor pillar structure. The stressor pillar structures can include a stressor material such as a dielectric metal oxide material, silicon nitride, thermal silicon oxide or a semiconductor material having a greater lattice constant than that of the channel. Vertical tensile stress may be induced by a compressive stress applied by electrically conductive layers that laterally surround the vertical semiconductor channel, or by a stress memorization technique that captures a compressive stress from sacrificial material layers. Vertical tensile stress can be generated by a source-level pinning layer that prevents vertical expansion of the vertical semiconductor channel.

  • Patent number: 10794511
Abstract: A flow control valve including a main valve and a pilot valve for controlling a piston of the main valve. The valve maybe controlled through a control system based o{circumflex over (?)}pn measured pressures or temperatures in a system supplied or controlled by the valve. The valve may be operated as a pressure independent control valve, using pressure measurement from a supply line and exit line or return line of a hydronic HVAC system as inputs to the control system, which is operable to maintain a constant pressure drop across the system, or the valve may be operated as a temperature independent control valve, using temperature measurements from a supply line and exit line or return line of a hydronic HVAC system as inputs to the control system which is operable to maintain a constant temperature drop across the system.

  • Patent number: 10792577
Abstract: Systems and methods for discovery and detection of events in interactive digital content are provided. Gameplay data in sessions involving the plurality of game titles may be tracked in real-time. Each session may be associated with a stream. Event criteria may be stored for each of a plurality of predefined events of interest. An event of interest may be identified when the tracked gameplay data for a session meets the stored criteria. A list of available streams identified as including the identified event may be sorted, and a subset of the available streams may be identified as being at a top of the list. A notification may be provided to a spectator device that includes a link to one of the streams in the subset. The criteria for the event of interest may also be updated based on subsequent game data and feedback (e.g., use of the link).

  • Patent number: 10798376
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video encoding/decoding. In some examples, an apparatus for video decoding includes receiving circuitry and processing circuitry. According to an aspect of the disclosure, the processing circuitry decodes prediction information of a current block in a current coding tree unit (CTU) within a picture from a coded video bitstream. The prediction information is indicative of an intra block copy mode. The processing circuitry further determines a reference area in the picture for the current block based on signals in the coded video bitstream that indicate constraints of the reference area, and then the processing circuitry reconstructs at least a sample of the current block based on reference samples of the reference area in the picture.
