Abstract: A seating assembly for a vehicle includes a first seat including a first seat base coupled with a backrest. A second seat includes a seat back and a second seat base pivotably coupled with the seat back and moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. A locking feature between the second seat base and the seat back is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking feature engages the second seat base in the locked position. The locking feature is disengaged from the second seat base in the unlocked position. A connection interface between the backrest and the seat back includes an engaging member and a receiving member. The engaging member selectively engages the receiving member to secure the second seat to the first seat in an attached configuration.

Abstract: A channeled seam tape includes a liquid permeable facer sheet attached to an adhesive portion, where the adhesive portion defines a channeled portion. A removable liner covers the adhesive portion and can be removed to press the tape onto a pair of adjacent substrate surfaces. Once the tape has been pressed onto the substrate surfaces, the adhesive portion covers a gap located between the substrate surfaces and adheres to each substrate surface.

Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating an optical device include a pattern source that provides a pattern suitable for use in the evaluating the optical device. The optical device images the pattern to provide an image. The optical device has an optical device and an image sensor, with an associated image sensor plane. An image analysis system determines, from the image, a tip and a tilt for a component of the optical device relative to the image sensor plane that maximizes a depth of focus for the optical device.

Abstract: A method for generating a video is described. The method includes: generating an initial output video including multiple frames, each of the frames having multiple channels; identifying a partitioning of the initial output video into a set of channel slices that are indexed according to a particular slice order, each channel slice being a down sampling of a channel stack from a set of channel stacks; initializing, for each channel stack in the set of channel stacks, a set of fully-generated channel slices; repeatedly processing, using an encoder and a decoder, a current output video to generate a next fully-generated channel slice to be added to the current set of fully-generated channel slices; generating, for each channel index, a respective fully-generated channel stack using the respective fully generated channel slices; and generating a fully-generated output video using the fully-generated channel stacks.

Abstract: A bone cement mixing and dispensing system and method for mixing and delivering bone cement therefrom. The system has a mixing container for holding a bone cement mixture, the mixing container extending along an axial length and having opposed first and second ends, the first end comprising a downstream opening for dispensing the bone cement downstream from the mixing container; a mixing element movably disposed within the mixing container; and a plunger comprising a piston movably disposed within the mixing container. In this system. with a first coupling, the mixing element moves by assistance of a motor along the axial length of the mixing container without translation of the plunger to mix the bone cement. In this system. with a second coupling, the mixing element and plunger are driven together along the axial length of the mixing container.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a fencing scheme for cluster systems without inherent hardware fencing. Storage nodes in an HA cluster communicate with one another over communication paths implemented through a variety of mechanisms, including drives and network connections. Each storage node in the HA cluster executes a fencing enforcer component operable to enforce actions or processes for initiating fencing of itself and/or initiating self-fencing of another storage node in the HA cluster determined to be malfunctioning. By providing for richer communications between storage nodes in an HA cluster and a richer set of actions or processes for fencing a malfunctioning storage node including self-fencing, the malfunctioning storage node can be made to exit the HA cluster in a more controlled fashion. In addition, a remaining storage node in the HA cluster can more safely take on the role of primary storage node with reduced risk of data corruption on shared resources.

The MTJ structure being centered within the horizontal outer perimeter. The cell includes a bottom electrode located entirely within the horizontal outer perimeter. The bottom electrode comprising a shape enabling the MTJ structure to be centered within the horizontal outer perimeter.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to enhanced depth of focus cameras using variable apertures and pixel binning. An example embodiment includes a device. The device includes an image sensor. The image sensor includes an array of light-sensitive pixels and a readout circuit. The device also includes a variable aperture. Additionally, the device includes a controller that is configured to cause: the variable aperture to adjust to a first aperture size when a high-light condition is present, the variable aperture to adjust to a second aperture size when a low-light condition is present, the readout circuit to perform a first level of pixel binning when the high-light condition is present, and the readout circuit to perform a second level of pixel binning when the low-light condition is present. The second aperture size is larger than the first aperture size. The second level of pixel binning is greater than the first level of pixel binning.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for virtual volume snapshot creation by a storage array. The method generally includes receiving a request to generate a snapshot of a virtual volume associated with a virtual machine, in response to receiving the request, preparing a file system of the storage array to generate the snapshot, wherein preparing the file system comprises creating a delta storage structure to receive write input/output (I/O) requests directed for the virtual volume when generating the snapshot of the virtual volume, deactivating the virtual volume, activating the delta storage structure, generating the snapshot of the virtual volume, and during the generation of the snapshot of the virtual volume: receiving a write I/O directed for the virtual volume and committing the write I/O in the delta storage structure.

Abstract: A method for configuring and deploying execution environments for software applications includes receiving a bootstrap execution environment from a data store, the bootstrap execution environment including a software application, the software application including a manifest of dependencies. The method includes executing the bootstrap execution environment and determining whether an enhanced execution environment is available from the data store. When the enhanced execution environment is available from the data store, the method includes receiving the enhanced execution environment from the data store and enhancing the bootstrap execution environment based on the received enhanced execution environment. When the enhanced execution environment is not available from the data, the method includes enhancing the bootstrap execution environment based on the manifest of dependencies to create the enhanced execution environment and storing the enhanced execution environment in the data store.

Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to ophthalmic laser procedures and, more particularly, to systems and methods for lenticular laser incision. In an embodiment, an ophthalmic surgical laser system comprises a laser delivery system for delivering a pulsed laser beam to a target in a subject's eye, an XY-scan device to deflect the pulsed laser beam, a Z-scan device to modify a depth of a focus of the pulsed laser beam, and a controller configured to form a top lenticular incision and a bottom lenticular incision of a lens in a corneal stroma.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for an end-to-end system for detecting and responding to known secrets leaked on a computing platform. By securely retrieving secret data from a repository of known secrets, the platform can detect whether potential secrets are leaked in digital documents generated by applications or services of the platform, and compare the potential secrets with known secrets in the repository. The system deterministically and accurately identifies whether secrets were leaked in a digital document, and can also identify both the source of the leakage and the affected users, devices, or groups of users and devices on the platform.

Abstract: An additive is disclosed for use with existing hair coloring products that combines multiple hair dye sources and classifications to create a single precise color tone on demand. The additive salvages chemical parts from existing hair coloring products to create a multitude of new hair coloring options. The additive perfects the dye diffusion process using physics, electrochemical technology and chemical screening technology. The resultant additive mixed with an existing hair product solves many of the problems within the hair coloring industry and enhances safety through lower toxicity.

Abstract: Optical filters are used to compensate for changes in LED and pcLED performance resulting from technological advances in device design or manufacturing, with for example the filtered optical output from later generation devices matching or substantially matching the optical performance of earlier generation legacy devices. This can allow the advanced generation devices to be substituted in applications previously supported by the legacy devices, even if the optical performance of the unfiltered advanced generation devices does not satisfy the optical performance specifications required by the application. Somewhat paradoxically, the advantages of using the filters in combination with the advanced generation devices may arise from the filters making the optical performance of the devices worse according to one or more figures of merit.

Abstract: Examples for determining velocity using a reflected positioning signal are presented herein. An example may involve a receiver receiving signals from satellites and identifying a particular signal that reflected off a reflecting plane prior to reaching the receiver. The receiver may then determine a reflected satellite position for a satellite that transmitted the particular signal. The reflected satellite position may be determined by reflecting a position of the satellite about the reflecting plane. The receiver may then determine a direction vector to the reflected satellite position for the satellite and determine its velocity using the determined direction vector.

Abstract: Techniques for discovering semantic meaning of data in fields included in one or more data sets, the method including: a first field having a previously-assigned label that indicates a semantic meaning of the first field; identifying a set of one or more candidate labels, for potential assignment to the first field instead of the previously-assigned label; evaluating, using a previously-determined label score and a first candidate label score, whether to assign a first candidate label to the first field, the evaluating comprising: when the first candidate label score is at least a first threshold amount greater than a previously-determined label score, presenting the first candidate label to a user by generating an interface through which the user can provide input indicating whether to assign the first candidate label to the first field instead of the previously-determined label.
