Abstract: A fountain apparatus may include a wall insert that can be threadably attached to a water inlet port in the wall of a pool. The wall insert may split water flow into two streams, one that passes through a jet nozzle ball and into the pool, and the other that flows into a reservoir that supplies water to a stream nozzle tip to form a water fountain. A water insert reservoir cap may be releasably engageable with the wall insert and include two fluid passageways, one corresponding to the flow path to the jet nozzle ball and the other corresponding to the reservoir and the flow path to the stream nozzle tip. A reservoir locking cap may be used to secure the wall insert reservoir cap to the wall insert. A jet nozzle cap may be used to secure the jet nozzle ball to the reservoir locking cap.
Abstract: An implant that has a central body or core that functions as a spine, with extending articulating segments that extend from the spine. The articulating segments define a space between each section to allow the implant to be compressed and bent, such that the space between each section can be compressed or expanded. A specific use for the implant is as a sinus implant. Specific embodiments of the implant are useful in correcting missing tissue in the inferior turbinate. Specific embodiments are sized and shaped to treat empty nose syndrome (ENS). Embodiments also relate to an implant that has a port for allowing various fluids or solutions to be flushed into the implant and released through the implant surface.

Abstract: Implementations of a semiconductor substrate may include a wafer including a first side and a second side; and a support structure coupled to the wafer at a desired location on the first side, the second side, or both the first side and the second side. The support structure may include an organic compound.
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are provided for enhanced sensor cleaning validation. A device may receive a signal from a sensor indicative of an obstruction on the sensor. The device may activate a cleaning system at a degree of actuation responsive to the obstruction. The device may then obtain a first post-clean performance measurement of the sensor. The device may then adjust the degree of actuation of the cleaning system based on a degradation measurement between a baseline performance measurement associated with a clean performance baseline of the sensor and the first post-clean performance measurement.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improving precision of content matching systems at a platform are provided herein. Candidate matches for a media item are obtained. Each of the candidate matches indicates a reference media item including content that corresponds to content of the media item. Similarity data associated with the media item and the reference media items of the candidate matches is provided as input to a machine learning model. A determination is made, based on outputs of the model, of a content category associated with the media item and whether content of the media item matches content of a respective reference media item of the candidate matches in view of the determined content category. If so, action is taken to prevent users from the platform from accessing the content of the media item.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are for an interaction mode system that provides multiple interaction modes in an artificial reality environment with automatic, context-specific transitions between interaction modes. An interaction mode can specify how the interaction mode system determines direction indications and movement within an artificial reality environment and interactions for making selections or performing other actions. In some implementations, the interaction mode system can control at least four interaction modes including a no-hands, 3DoF mode, a no-hands, 6DoF mode, a gaze and gesture mode, and a ray casting mode. The interaction mode system can employ a mapping of interaction mode context factors (e.g., which components are enabled, mode settings, lighting or other environment conditions, current body positions, etc.) to interaction modes to control transitioning between particular interaction modes.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed including receiving an electronic access request to add a secondary electronic profile of a secondary user to a primary electronic profile of a primary user. A processor generates and sends a first security challenge to the primary user and a secondary security challenge to the secondary user. The processor receives a response from the primary user in response to the first security challenge and a response from the secondary user in response to the secondary security challenge. The processor authenticates the electronic access request based on the first response being a valid response and the secondary response being a valid response. The processor generates the secondary electronic profile as a nested profile within the primary electronic profile. The processor instructs the primary user device or the secondary user device to display a confirmation of the secondary user being added to the primary electronic profile.
Abstract: A communication technology that provides for handling of failed packet transmissions to reduce retransmission attempts and uses resynchronization to prevent tearing down of connections. Thereby, providing for more resilient connections. In an implementation, an initiator entity may determine that a negative acknowledgment indicates that an operation for a particular packet is completed in error by a target entity, and transmit to the target entity a resynchronization packet without tearing down the connection.
Abstract: A method to adjust an opening between a plurality of shakers of a machine formed as a fruit harvester, starting with aligning and centralizing the machine with a crop row to be harvested, includes the steps of: identifying and defining a configuration of a plurality of trees to be harvested; measuring a width of the plurality of trees to be harvested; setting a value for a desired damage level; calculating an opening factor based on the desired damage level defined in the step of setting; determining a distance “X” from the opening between the plurality of shakers, based on a value obtained for the opening factor in relation to the width of the plurality of trees to be harvested; and adjusting the opening between the plurality of shakers according to the distance “X” determined in the step of determining.
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for high capacity degassing of dissolved gases and gas bubbles from fluid such as a dialysate are provided. The devices, systems, and methods can include a degassing vessel with at least two degassing chambers. The fluid can be degassed in a first degassing chamber and recirculated through a second recirculating degassing chamber to remove a desired amount of gas such as carbon dioxide.

Abstract: A relationship management system and method are configured to enable a user to manage a relationship with their contacts from the initial interaction through the life cycle of a transaction or relationship and beyond. For example, a relationship management system may record and sort all communications (for example, phone calls, text messages, and emails) into a contact's profile, empowering a user to easily see the entire relationship at a glance. Moreover, using actionable business intelligence, an exemplary relationship management system may utilize a workflow engine to send notifications, schedule tasks, and allow users to see reports, thus allowing a user to increase productivity and save time. Exemplary relationship management systems are configured for use in the multi-family housing industry.
Abstract: Efficiency of a battery module is achieved using an actively cooled high power electrical interface. The battery module comprises a plurality of battery cells, at least one busbar coupled to the battery cells, a connector electrically coupled to the at least one busbar, and at least one cooling component that is thermally coupled to the first connector. The battery cells may be arranged in two layers, each layer containing a plurality of battery cells connected by a busbar. The connector comprises a contact through which the battery module may be coupled to an external circuit. The at least one cooling component provided cooling for the battery cells and the connectors and may be placed on the surface of the battery module or between layers of battery cells.
