  • Patent number: 12130426
Abstract: A distally-actuated scanning mirror includes: a mirror block with reflective surface on one side; torsional hinges with proximal ends rigidly attached to the mirror block, and with distal ends attached to flexural structures configured to transform translational motion of the piezoelectric elements into rotational motion of the distal ends of the hinges; and piezoelectric elements providing such translational motion. The distally-actuated scanning mirror also includes flexural structures made of separate flexures attached to the opposite surfaces of the distal ends of the hinges, which flexural structures have defined thinned-down flexural points. Portions of the distally-actuated scanning mirror may be 3D printed and/or fabricated by silicon MEMS technology. The mirror is fabricated from a Silicon-on-Insulator wafer, having a relatively thick (e.g., 380 um) handle layer, and a relatively thin e.g., 50 um), where photolithography with backside-alignment allows separate patterning of these two layers.

  • Patent number: 12130855
Abstract: In some aspects described herein, a computer-based system that is capable of constructing digital documents is provided. In some implementations, a machine learning system is provided that learns certain terms within a document. The terms may be, for example, part of a document that forms a legally-binding contract between two entities. In one implementation of the machine learning system, the machine learning system interoperates within a user interface to show predictions of certain terms within the document to the user. Further, the machine learning system may capture user answers relating to certain terms and provide feedback into the system that learns during operation of the system, improving user interactions, accuracy and reducing the number of user interactions.

  • Patent number: 12128008
Abstract: Introduced here are containers designed to promote compliance with regimens for administering the medications stored therein. These containers can facilitate the conveyance of information related to a regimen through the use of a non-written medium. A container may include one or more display elements configured to emit/reflect light to indicate when medication stored in the container should be administered. An example of a display element is a light-emitting diode (LED). Emittance/reflectance of the light by the display element(s) may be governed by a different clock signal than the clock signal used to determine whether doses of medication are due to be administered.

  • Patent number: 12130725
Abstract: Cache-based tracing based on categorizing memory regions as being logged or not logged. A computer system identifies a first memory region within a first memory space of a first context, and determines that the first context is in a logging state. The computer system configures a data structure to categorize the first memory region as being logged. The data structure also categorizes a second memory region corresponding to a second context as being not logged. The computer system exposes the data structure to a processor. Upon detecting a memory access by a processing unit, the processor uses determinations of one or more of (i) whether a target memory address is categorized as being logged or not logged, (ii) whether an executing context is logging or not non-logging, or (iii) a type of the memory access to initiate a logging action or refrain from the logging action.
