Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for predicting a repair project are disclosed. The repair project may be a roof repair. Various data inputs may be received and analyzed to determine the likelihood of obtaining a repair job. The repair job may be associated with a lead score. The lead score may indicate a likelihood of obtaining the repair job. Repair jobs with lead scores over a threshold may be pursued to obtain the repair job. Materials may be automatically ordered to preempt obtaining the repair job. Workers for carrying out the repair job may be automatically determined and scheduled.

Abstract: A hair diffuser includes a connection member having a chamber wall that forms an air inlet that is connectable to a hair dryer and a cover member that is connected to the chamber wall of the connection member to form an interior chamber between the cover member and the connection member. The cover member has at least one generally vertically aligned inner circumferential wall having a longitudinally extending vent that directs air flow toward a central axis of the cover member.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for deploying and/or rolling back automatic teller machine (ATM) updates. Such methods can store a back-up system image of a client operating system on a virtual hard drive. When an update is deployed from a host operating system to the client operating system, the system update may fail to install properly, and the ATM may shut down. In response, the host operating system can execute instructions to the client operating system to boot from a bootable image on the virtual hard drive. Then, the virtual hard drive can emulate, by a boot loader on the back-up system image, the client operating system on the ATM from the virtual hard drive without loading the client operating system. Then, the virtual hard drive can install a rolled-back operating system on the ATM. The rolled-back operating system can comprise the back-up system image.
Abstract: A panelized building system of construction utilizing a rigid framing combined with foam insulation is disclosed. The system may include a metal roof panel, at least one metal wall panel, a floor panel, at least one metal corner post and at least one foundational component. A single layer of foam insulation encapsulates partially fills a rigid framing and may be molded against a non-stick surface or bonded to an exterior building material. In either case, a single monolithic piece is formed. A utility cavity may be formed interior to the single layer of foam insulation. The exterior face may be textured, undulated, radiused, or shaped in myriad ways. In one method, a user applies a first layer of foam insulation to a wall panel and allows the first layer to dry. A user then applies a second layer of foam insulation to the exterior surface of the first layer.
Abstract: Apparatus for mitigating propagation of thermal events between battery cells within a battery module assembly (10) is provided. The apparatus comprises one or more of several features that function to prevent a runaway thermal event within one battery cell (48) from triggering a fire or other thermal event within another battery cell within the battery module assembly (10). The apparatus may comprise one or more of: (i) a compressive wrap (88) applied to a battery cell (48); (ii) a layered barrier material (104) positioned between adjacent battery cells (48); (iii) silicone rubber supports (94) positioned adjacent the battery terminals (62, 64), (iv) a light-weight, fire-resistant housing composite panel, and (v) rupturable diaphragms (36) configured to vent gases and ejecta from a battery cell undergoing a thermal event.

Abstract: A cable barrier assembly or system can include line posts extending along a barrier section. Cables can extend along the line posts. In addition, each line post can have a total number of cable retention features that is less than a total number of the cables. Each cable retention feature can include at least a partial loop that limits a range of radial motion of a cable extending through an eye of the partial loop, relative to an axis of the cable.

Abstract: A dual rate torsion bar suspension system is connected to a control arm and includes a first rate torsion bar and a second rate torsion bar connected to one another in order to provide the suspension system with a dual rate torque resistance. A cam mechanism is employed for isolating the second rate torsion bar from the first rate torsion bar.
Abstract: An area of a graphical user interface that potentially comprises an actionable graphical object is identified. An actional graphical object is an object that generates an event when clicked on. For example, an actional graphical object may be a button, a menu, a menu item, a check box, a text field, a text area, a tab, and/or the like. A cursor movement is generated in the area of the graphical user interface (e.g., using a grid). The cursor movement uses a scanning process to a detect a change in a cursor type (e.g., from an arrow cursor to a link cursor). In response to detecting the change in the cursor type, the actionable graphical object is identified in the area of the graphical interface. The actionable graphical object may then be integrated into a testing process to validate the graphical user interface.
Abstract: A server device receives, from a user device, a session initiation request and information identifying a location of the user device, and receives, from a monitoring device that is separate from the user device, an authentication request and information identifying a location of the monitoring device. The server device processes the session initiation request and the authentication request to authenticate a user of the user device, and determines, based on the location of the user device and the location of the monitoring device, that the user device and the monitoring device are collocated. The server device creates, after authenticating the user of the user device and determining that user device and the monitoring device are collocated, a session token, and sends the session token to the user device to enable the user device to access at least one resource of the server device.

Abstract: A tracer-embedded degradable article includes: a degradable metallic carrier; and a tracer disposed in the degradable metallic carrier, wherein the tracer includes an upconverting particle that has a host material, and a dopant. The article is manufactured by forming a mixture containing the metallic carrier and the tracer; and molding or casting the mixture. The degradation of the article is monitored by disposing the article downhole; degrading the article; releasing the tracer from the article to a wellbore fluid; and analyzing the wellbore fluid to determine an amount of the tracer in the wellbore fluid.
