Abstract: The presentation of an automated assistant response may be selectively pre-empted in response to a hot-word free utterance that is received during the presentation and that is determined to be likely directed to the automated assistant. The determination that the utterance is likely directed to the automated assistant may be performed, for example, using an utterance classification operation that is performed on audio data received during presentation of the response, and based upon such a determination, the response may be pre-empted with another response associated with the later-received utterance. In addition, the duration that is used to determine when a session should be terminated at the conclusion of a conversation between a user and an automated assistant may be dynamically controlled based upon when the presentation of a response has completed.

Abstract: An electronic locking apparatus for an entryway, having a linkage coupled to an entryway frame case, and a solenoid associated with the case, the solenoid is configured to selectively engage with the linkage. The linkage is movable between a locked position blocking movement of a latch bolt from the latched position to the unlatched position and an unlocked position allowing movement of the bolt to the unlatched position.
Abstract: A media stream is transmitted from a server device to a client device. The client device (10) transmits set-up request messages (43a), discovery messages (44b) and a play command message (45a). The server receives versions of the set-up request messages 43b), the discovery message (44b) and the play message (45b) with matching identifier in the payloads if the messages. The server device (12) receives the discovery messages (44b) on a predetermined port and stores information recording that the discovery messages (44b) have been received, at least when no corresponding set-up request message 43b has been received before. The server device (12) compares the identifiers from the received set up request message (43b) and the discovery message (44b) according to the information recording reception, at least when the discovery message (44b) has been received before the set-up request message (43b).
Abstract: The present invention relates to three dimensional (3D) printed garments and any wearable article, as well as to processes and methods of manufacturing the same. Image information obtained from a subject, for example, images and information related to a subject's body or body part(s) is used to generate a garment or wearable object with a customized fit. In particular, the present invention provides the collection of a subject's data (e.g., using image acquisition devices, methods and software), and use of the data to create a model (e.g., virtual model) that in turn is used to create a subject specific article of clothing or other wearable object.
Abstract: A method of detecting and responding to a visitor to a smart home environment via an electronic greeting system of the smart home environment, including determining that a visitor is approaching an entryway of the smart home environment; initiating a facial recognition operation while the visitor is approaching the entryway; initiating an observation window in response to the determination that a visitor is approaching the entryway; obtaining context information from one or more sensors of the smart home environment during the observation window; and at the end of the time window, initiating a response to the detected approach of the visitor based on the context information and/or an outcome of the facial recognition operation.

Abstract: A turbomachine component includes a platform, a shank, and an airfoil. The platform includes a pressure side slash face and a suction side slash face. The shank extends radially inward from the platform. The airfoil extends radially outward from the platform. The airfoil includes a leading edge and a trailing edge. A cooling circuit is defined within the shank and the airfoil. The cooling circuit further includes a plurality of exit channels disposed along the trailing edge of the airfoil. The cooling circuit further includes at least one bypass conduit that extends from an inlet disposed in the cooling circuit to an outlet positioned on the pressure side slash face. The at least one bypass conduit being positioned radially inward of the plurality of exit channels.

Abstract: A method executed by a computing entity includes obtaining, in accordance with a securely passing process, control over a secure first token representing a first pending transaction associated with a transaction item. The method further includes obtaining a selection of a first subset of instant assets of a set of candidate instant assets that may be utilized to subsequently provide conversion of a selected carbon credit asset to complete the first pending transaction. The method further includes generating an updated secure first token in accordance with the securely passing process to represent the selection of the first subset of instant assets of the set of candidate instant assets to subsequently provide the conversion of the selected carbon credit asset to complete the first pending transaction.
Abstract: A heater assembly for an aerosol-generating system includes a perforated glass substrate and a heater element. The heater element is provided in the glass substrate, on the glass substrate, or both in and on the glass substrate. The heater element includes a plurality of parallel strips between alternating rows of the perforations.
Abstract: A wound therapy device and method includes a skin contacting element, a reactor, and a reactor housing element. The skin contacting element is configured for covering an associated tissue site, the reactor for creating a pressure condition at the associated tissue site upon actuation thereof, and the reactor housing element for accommodating the reactor. The skin contacting element has a skin contacting side and an interface side, which is opposite the skin contacting side. The reactor housing element has a lower affixing side and an upper side, which is opposite the lower affixing side.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for photographing vehicles in a deployable photobooth structure that avoids corner lighting issues common with angular shaped photobooths. The walls of the photobooth are made of an opaque fabric or panels. A frame supports photographic lighting, as well as rods from which the fabric that forms the walls is hung. The photobooth itself may be hung from a ceiling and deployed downward or retracted upward to a ceiling. The photobooth may also be mobile and used in outdoor settings. If not hung, vertical support legs may be used to support the frame above the floor or ground. Low volume car photos are obtained where a user walks about the inside perimeter of the photobooth and takes a series of photographs or video. The images or video may then be manipulated by computer to provide seamless reflection free 360 degree images.
Abstract: Techniques are presented for the application of neural networks to the fabrication of integrated circuits and electronic devices, where example are given for the fabrication of non-volatile memory circuits and the mounting of circuit components on the printed circuit board of a solid state drive (SSD). The techniques include the generation of high precision masks suitable for analyzing electron microscope images of feature of integrated circuits and of handling the training of the neural network when the available training data set is sparse through use of a generative adversary network (GAN).

Abstract: A method for data storage includes specifying a plurality of File Systems (FSs) for use by multiple clients, including assigning to the FSs both respective global identifiers and respective client-specific names. The plurality of FSs is managed using the global identifiers, and files are stored for the clients in the FSs using the client-specific names.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for ensuring electronic communications have not been intercepted and manipulated. An exemplary device generates a public/private pair of keys, and transmits the public key to another device with information about the data to be shared. The second device encrypts associated data, while also executing a hash function on at least a portion of the data. The first device receives the encrypted data, decrypts it, and verifies its accuracy using a third party. The third party also executes the hash function on the data received from the first device, and transmits the output of that hash function to the first device. Both the first device and second devices and display the hash values, allowing users to visually determine if the data has been manipulated during the transaction.
