A condition for the region is defined, the condition being a capability of a communicator such as video recording, still image recording, audio recording, audio output, text messaging, audio communication, or remote connection. The presence and location of a communicator with the capability is detected in the region, and a message is sent to the communicator with a request for a response accepting or rejecting remote deactivation of the capability of the communicator. If an acceptance response is received, the communicator capability is deactivated. If an acceptance response is not received, a notification is generated that includes the lack of acceptance response and the location of the communicator.

  • Patent number: 12123899
Abstract: An electric vehicle (EV) charging system is described herein. The EV charging system may be configured to determine if a component in the EV charging system is operating properly based upon current usage. For example, an EV charging station controller may measure a current corresponding to an input to an EV charging station. The EV charging station controller may further measure currents of reference components in the EV charging station, and then use the measured currents to determine if a component in the EV charging station is operating properly. In some examples, the component is a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) component in an EV charging station because it is particularly useful to know the operational status of an HVAC in EV charging systems (e.g., to ensure that the components charging the EV are the correct temperature).

  • Patent number: 12126433
Abstract: In some embodiments, a first computing device detects a loss of a connection to a first source of timing information that the first computing device and a second computing device use to maintain synchronization with a first clock and a second clock. The first computing device receives a second source of timing information from the second computing device. The second source of timing information is also being transmitted to a third computing device. The first computing device uses the second source of timing information to determine a first timestamp and determines a second timestamp from the first clock. The first computing device uses the first timestamp and the second timestamp to adjust a rate of the first clock where the first clock is used to transmit the second source of timing information from the second computing device to the third computing device.

  • Patent number: 12127179
Abstract: The systems, methods, and techniques described in this disclosure allow different wireless systems that operate in accordance with different Radio Access Technologies (RATs) to coexist within a same frequency domain with minimal (if any) inter-RAT interference. Specifically, the described techniques allocate a respective, mutually-exclusive portion of a plurality of Space-Time-Frequency (STF) resources for use in communicating in accordance with each different RAT. For example, mutually-exclusive portions of spatial domain resources, time domain resources, and/or frequency domain resources may be respectively allocated for exclusive use by different RATs. A centralized, third-party controller (120) may perform the allocations, or the allocations may be cooperatively arrived at between systems supporting different RATs, e.g., in a peer-to-peer manner. STF resource allocations may be static and/or dynamic over time, and STF resources may be uniquely identified by respective resource identifiers.

  • Patent number: 12121020
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a wing connector system and methods of using same for folding of decoy wings during transport. The wing connector system includes a wing adapter for coupling to decoy wings, a motor shaft adapter for coupling to a motor shaft of the decoy, and a fastener for moveably coupling the wing adapter to the motor shaft adapter. When the fastener is rotated in a first direction, it restricts movement of the wing adapter relative to the motor shaft adapter, and when the fastener is rotated in a second direction, it allows movement of the wing adapter relative to the motor shaft adapter. When the wing adapter is extended from the motor shaft adapter, rotation is possible, allowing for the folding of attached decoy wings during transport. This folding allows transport to occur without damaging the decoy or requiring the disconnection of decoy wings.

  • Patent number: 12125570
Abstract: A method id described for controlling operations of a system to support automated communications with a plurality of interactive voice response (IVR) system for fulfillment of a prescription order. The method features a first operation of identifying a destination IVR system based on a request message. Based on content associated with the request message, generating a prescription order to establish a communication session with the destination IVR system. Therefore, one or more data queries are received from the destination IVR system, and responsive to receipt of each data query of the one or more data queries from the destination IVR system, the content associated with the request message is accessed to generate a response to each data query. Thereafter, data associated with each response is translated prior to transmission to the destination IVR system to enable fulfillment of the prescription order.
