Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method and system of determining an overall sentiment of a facility. A computing system receives a video stream, including a plurality of frames, of one or more patrons in a facility over a first time period. The video stream includes data indicative of a sentiment of each of the one or more patrons. The computing system parses the plurality of frames to determine the sentiment of the patron based at least on audio and visual cues of the patron captured in the video stream during the first time period. The computing system aggregates one or more sentiments corresponding to the one or more patrons in a data set indicative of an overall sentiment of the facility. The computing system generates a sentiment value corresponding to the overall sentiment of the facility. The computing system outputs the overall sentiment of the facility.

Abstract: Image sensors may include plasmonic color filter elements that transmit specific wavelengths of incident light. Each plasmonic color filter element may be interposed between a respective microlens and photosensitive area. The plasmonic color filter elements may be formed from a metal layer such as gold, silver, platinum, aluminum, or copper and may have a pattern of openings in the metal layer that is designed to allow transmission of a certain type of light. To prevent cross-talk between adjacent pixels having plasmonic color filter elements, metal walls may be interposed between adjacent plasmonic color filter elements. The metal walls may extend above the upper surface of the metal layer that forms the plasmonic color filter elements. The metal walls may run around the periphery of each plasmonic color filter element.

Abstract: An electronic device can include a channel layer including AlzGa(1-z)N, where 0?z?0.1; a gate dielectric layer; and a gate electrode of a high electron mobility transistor (HEMT). The gate dielectric layer can be disposed between the channel layer and the gate electrode. The gate electrode includes a gate electrode film that contacts the gate dielectric layer, wherein the gate electrode film can include a material, wherein the material has a sum of an electron affinity and a bandgap energy of at least 6 eV. In some embodiments, the material can include a p-type semiconductor material. The particular material for the gate electrode film can be selected to achieve a desired threshold voltage for an enhancement-mode HEMT. In another embodiment, a portion of the barrier layer can be left intact under the gate structure. Such a configuration can improve carrier mobility and reduce Rdson.

Abstract: Tortuosity of vessels at or leading to the site of minimally invasive procedures is a problem for conducting such procedures as they increase the difficulty to guide the procedural catheters through tortuous vessels. Methods and apparatus for stabilization of the sheaths and catheters during access, procedures, and withdrawal in these tortuous vessels are disclosed. The apparatus and method for improving access include application of a pull component to the stabilized procedural catheter using a stabilization catheter/wire in addition to a push component from the percutaneous access to make the access easier while enabling use of more flexible catheters and softer wires. These methods and devices address the problems of trauma to the vessels during access, procedure and removal of catheters and wires, improve pushability of softer catheters and wires, and also substantially reduce substantially the procedure time.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for screening and selectively blocking private calls. A processor executing instructions associated with a private call blocking service can detect a call from a calling device directed to a called device. The processor can determine that the call has a caller identification blocking marker indicating that a fixed label should be provided to the called device to prevent the called device from presenting caller identification data associated with the calling device. In response to determining that the call has the caller identification blocking marker, the processor can obtain a custom private caller identification mask instead of the fixed label. The processor can provide the custom private caller identification mask to the called device for the call, where the custom private caller identification mask can be presented to a called party associated with the called device without revealing the caller identification data.

Abstract: A downdraft gasifier and method of gasification with high yield biochar that utilizes a plurality of high throughput, vertically positioned tubes to create a pyrolysis zone, an oxidation zone beneath the pyrolysis zone and a reduction zone beneath the oxidation zone. A rotating and vertically adjustable rotating grate is located beneath the reduction zone of the gasifier. In addition, a drying zone is located above the pyrolysis zone so the heat of the gasifier can be used to dry feedstock before it enters the gasifier. By optimizing the grate height and rpm, feedstock retention time in the drying zone, the drying zone temperature and feedstock moisture content, the result is gasification of biomass with a high yield and continuous biochar production.
