Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow for deploying third-party callback to be performed on a mobile device. For example, the mobile device may configure a third-party callback to be performed after a triggering event is detected by a remote device. The triggering event may relate to a remote device associated with the mobile device. A determination may be made as to whether the mobile device is within a pre-determined proximity of the remote device. If the two devices are in proximity and if the mobile device receives a message that indicates the triggering event has been detected, the mobile device may perform the third-party callback. In this way, a user's need to request services conveniently and accurately is facilitated.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to selective deactivation of light emitters for interference mitigation in light detection and ranging (lidar) devices. An example method includes deactivating one or more light emitters within a lidar device during a firing cycle. The method also includes identifying whether interference is influencing measurements made by the lidar device. Identifying whether interference is influencing measurements made by the lidar device includes determining, for each light detector of the lidar device that is associated with the one or more light emitters deactivated during the firing cycle, whether a light signal was detected during the firing cycle.
Abstract: A novel phantom-powered FET (field effect transistor) circuit for audio application is disclosed. In one embodiment of the invention, a novel phantom-powered FET preamplifier gain circuit can minimize undesirable sound distortions and reduce the cost of producing a conventional preamplifier gain circuit. Moreover, in one embodiment of the invention, one or more novel rounded-edge magnets may be placed close to a ribbon of a ribbon microphone, wherein the one or more novel rounded-edge magnets reduce or minimize reflected sound wave interferences with the vibration of the ribbon during an operation of the ribbon microphone. Furthermore, in one embodiment of the invention, a novel backwave chamber operatively connected to a backside of the ribbon can minimize acoustic pressure, anomalies in frequency responses, and undesirable phase cancellation and doubling effects.

Abstract: An HVAC line set analyzer system is provided. The system includes a base unit and a remote unit, wherein the base unit is in communication with the remote unit. The base unit is configured to couple to an end of tubing of an HVAC line set and the remote unit is configured to couple to an opposing end of the tubing the HVAC line set. The base unit and the remote unit operate together in order to purge the tubing of all contaminates, remaining gases and so forth, equalize the temperature and then measure the length of the tubing of the HVAC line set, which length is an unknown length. This is done with two measurements. The first is the length of the tubing, and the second determines a number of sharp bends in that tubing and calculates an equivalent tubing length associated with the number of sharp bends.

Abstract: A meta-model topology comprises a plurality of functions and conforms to a global label schema. A new function not included in the plurality of functions is integrated into the meta-model topology. A particular label of interest that is associated with the new function is identified and the new function is configured such that an output from the new function conforms to an output form corresponding to the particular label of interest from the global label schema. The new function is then integrated into the meta-model topology and the meta-model topology that includes the new function is used to generate a model graph. The model graph is then deployed to a remote application that is configured to receive data prompts comprising input data processed by nodes of the model graph.
