  • Patent number: 12351113
Abstract: This invention is embodied in a vehicle mounted safe that also can be used as a license plate frame. This invention provides a safe and hidden method to hide car key and small valuables outside the cabin of the vehicle. This is particularly advantageous on an outdoor adventure where it is not desirable to carry car keys (surfing, hiking, running, snowboarding, car-rental, car-sharing, etc.) or in a. The invention (a) stores keys and valuables, (2) makes it easier to swap out license plates, and (3), prevents theft of the license plate—all without the need for any tools or screws. The metal design can block the RFID signals from a smart key.

  • Patent number: 12353478
Abstract: A system includes a controller, a database controlled by the controller, and a memory including an end-user executable code and a business software management code. The controller receives a user update to modify the end-user executable code, converts the user update to a machine language input, and, in response to the machine language input, modifies one or more of the end-user executable code, the database structure, and a documentation of the end-user executable code. In response to executing the program instructions associated with the modified end-user executable code on the end-user device, the controller generates a data collection GUI according to the modified end-user executable code and stores data in the database structure according to the modified end-user executable code.

  • Patent number: 12355551
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transmitting information optically in free space. For instance, a system may include an optical signal generator to generate an amplified beam of light. A telescope transmits the amplified beam through the medium and receives an inbound beam of light. A detector system may include one or more (or multiple) detectors and a routing system that transmits the inbound beam to a selected set of detectors. In some cases, the system can determine a re-configuration condition based on control parameters and perform a system re-configuration to direct the inbound beam to a different set of detectors. In some cases, the system includes a remote fiber head or wavelength division multiplexing.

  • Patent number: 12352877
Abstract: A ground station determines a location of a user equipment (UE) by triangulating signals from a single satellite at different times and positions as it orbits the earth. The ground station processing device determines a first pathlength between the UE and the satellite when the satellite is at a first position, and a second pathlength between the UE and the satellite when the satellite is at a second position. The ground station processing device triangulates an actual position of the UE based on the first pathlength and the second pathlength.

  • Patent number: 12355951
Abstract: Coded information of a first color component and a second color component associated with a current block is determined. A first prediction mode is determined to be selected from an intra prediction mode, an inter prediction mode, or a combined intra-inter prediction mode for the first color component associated with the current block. A second prediction mode is determined to be selected from the intra prediction mode, the inter prediction mode, or the combined intra-inter prediction mode for the second color component associated with the current block. The second prediction mode is different from the first prediction mode. The current block is reconstructed based on predicting the first color component of the current block in the first prediction mode and predicting the second color component of the current block in the second prediction mode.

  • Patent number: 12353699
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a collaboration engine is configured to display shared digital assets consistently across displays. The collaboration engine receives container metadata generated based on a first location and first size of a digital asset within a first scaled workspace displayed on a first display. In response, the collaboration engine computes a second location and second size of the digital asset based on the container metadata and the size of a second scaled workspace. Finally, the collaboration engine configures the second device to display the digital asset within the second scaled workspace based on the second location and the second size. Notably, the container metadata correlates to the appearance of the digital asset on the first display, and the appearance of the digital asset on the second display correlates to the container metadata. Consequently, the appearance of the digital asset is consistent across the displays.

  • Patent number: 12352126
Abstract: A seal arrangement includes a seal assembly and a seal subassembly in operable contact with the seal assembly. The seal subassembly is configured to impart energy to the seal assembly to promote sealing of the seal assembly with a mating surface. A non-sealing feature of the seal subassembly depends from the seal subassembly and is interactive with a load shoulder of a structure adjacent the seal subassembly. The seal arrangement redirects a mechanical load path through the seal subassembly to the non-sealing feature, during use. A method of protecting a seal subassembly from reverse loading is by redirecting a load path through a seal subassembly to a non-sealing feature, while also permitting pressure energizing of the seal assembly by the seal subassembly in a sealing direction. A downhole system includes a borehole in a formation, a string in the borehole, and a seal.

  • Patent number: 12355578
Abstract: Techniques of packet level redundancy in distributed computing systems are disclosed herein. In one example, upon receiving an original packet to be transmitted from a source host to an application executing at a destination host, the source host generates a duplicated packet based on the received original packet. The source host can then encapsulate the original and duplicated packets with first and second outer headers having first and second header values, respectively, and transmitting the original and the duplicated packets from the source host to the destination host via a first network path and a second network path in the computer network, respectively. Then, the transmitted original and duplicated packets can be de-duplicated at the destination host before providing the de-duplicated original and duplicated packets to the application executing at the destination host.
