Abstract: Methods and apparatus for determining signal offset correction signals. In embodiments, first and second magnetic field sensing elements generate first and second channels that are in quadrature. Signal correction processing includes storing amplitudes of the first and second channel signals when an amplitude of the channel signals cross zero and determine an offset of the first and second channel signals based on the stored amplitudes.

Abstract: A pixelated electronic sensor is disclosed for imaging from infra-red to ultraviolet wavelengths, composed of a CMOS integrated circuit plus layers of nano-materials monolithically integrated via low temperature post-processing. Co-design, simulation, and integration methods for the device are described. Each pixel has color-resolved single photon sensitivity without dark counts and without inefficiency. The device operates at temperatures above 70° Kelvin. Current state of the art imagers that can color-resolve single photons are of bolometric or filter type. Bolometric devices must operate at temperature below 1° Kelvin and are limited to few pixels. Devices that use filters are inefficient as all the photons rejected by a filter are wasted. Single photon imagers that operate at non-cryogenic temperature (like Silicon Photomultipliers) have large dark counts typically measured in MHz/cm2.

Abstract: A disinfection chamber for disinfecting probe and probe cord may include a housing, a probe chamber portion defined by the housing, a cord chamber portion defined by the housing, one or more disinfecting portions in operable communication with the probe chamber portion and the cord chamber portion, and a disinfectant composition in operable communication with the one or more disinfecting portions. The one or more disinfecting portions may expel the disinfectant composition within the probe chamber portion and the cord chamber portion to disinfect the probe and at least a portion of the probe cord.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining parking lot data associated with the parking lot, where the parking lot data indicates an availability of a plurality of parking spaces of the parking lot and obtaining vehicle data associated with the plurality of vehicles, where the vehicle data includes one or more physical characteristics of each of the plurality of vehicles, one or more electrical charging characteristics of each of the plurality of vehicles, or a combination thereof. The method includes dynamically defining one or more parking characteristics of the parking lot based on the vehicle data and the parking lot data and controlling a movement of the plurality of vehicles via the exit lane, the entry lane, and the one or more charging lanes based on the vehicle data and the one or more parking characteristics of the parking lot.

Abstract: A system for charging electric vehicles includes a robot, an electric charger, a vehicle localization structure, and a control system. The vehicle localization structure defines a charge zone located at a fixed position. The control system is configured to determine that a corresponding electric vehicle of the electric vehicles is in the charge zone, determine a position of a charge port of the corresponding electric vehicle based on the fixed position of the vehicle localization structure and vehicle parameters of the corresponding electric vehicle, and instruct the robot to move a charger of the electric charger from the electric charger to the charge port of the corresponding electric vehicle such that the charger is electrically coupled to the corresponding electric vehicle.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling a transmission of a vehicle that has a selectable one-way clutch. The system includes a sensor system, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), and a controller configured to, by a processor: monitor for a deceleration event wherein an estimated output speed acceleration of the vehicle is reduced below a first threshold, receive a status of the ABS, and output one or more control signals to command the transmission to inhibit the application of the selectable one-way clutch in response to detection of the deceleration event when the selectable one-way clutch is not applied, and the estimated output speed acceleration of the vehicle is either: (i) below the first threshold while the anti-lock brake system ABS of the vehicle is active, or (ii) below a second threshold while the ABS is inactive, wherein the first threshold is greater than the second threshold.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for detecting the approach of official and emergency vehicles and alerting drivers. The system is comprised of a vehicle device, a client device, a local device and a dongle. The local device includes a set of acoustic sensors and a set of light wave sensors. The local device is connected to the dongle. The dongle is connected to the local device, the vehicle device and the client device. In use, the sensors record analog light wave and acoustic signals. The signals are processed through a series of rolling frequency and amplitude summary tables to determine the type of emergency vehicle and whether or not it is approaching. If so, an alert is generated and sent to the vehicle device and the client device where it is displayed.

Abstract: Certain types of fiber termination enclosures include an enclosure and at least one of a plurality of plate module mounting assemblies. Example plate module mounting assemblies include a termination panel plate assembly; a splice tray plate assembly; a cable spool plate assembly; and a drop-in plate assembly. Example cable spool plate assemblies include a cable spool arrangement rotationally coupled to a mounting plate, which fixedly mounts within the enclosure housing. A stand-off mount element may be disposed on the front of the cable spool arrangement to rotate in unison with the cable spool arrangement. The stand-off mount element may include one or more termination adapters.

The system includes a behavior modification module operating on the at least a server, wherein the behavior modification module is designed and configured to receive at least a request for a behavior modification and generate a behavior modification model as a function of the at least a request for behavior modification. The system includes an artificial intelligence advisor operating on the at least a server, wherein the artificial intelligence advisor is configured to receive at least a user input from a user client device, generate at least a textual output using the behavior modification model and the at least a user input, and transmit the at least a textual output to the user client device.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for identifying product placement utilizing a computer vision, artificial intelligence, and/or machine-learning model that includes an object recognition model. The computer vision, artificial intelligence, and/or machine-learning model can be trained to recognize each placement pattern in a first directory of placement patterns, eliminate additional data, where the additional data includes data not recognized as being in the first directory of placement patterns, and recognize each first pixel pattern in a second directory of pixel patterns. The system, method, and apparatus can be utilized to recognize, using the computer vision, artificial intelligence, and/or machine-learning model, the placement patterns present in an image; eliminate the additional data from the image, construct a modified image including the recognized placement patterns; and identify the first pixel patterns present in the modified image.

Abstract: An SMF sends, to an AMF, a first message comprising a PDU session identifier of a PDU session for a wireless device, wherein the PDU session is associated with a network slice. The SMF receives, from the AMF, a second message comprising an indication that the network slice is not available at a location of the wireless device. After receiving the second message, the SMF does not send, to the AMF, an indication of data arrival of the PDU session.

Abstract: A portable computer that is configurable between a plurality of display modes including a laptop mode (in which the portable computer has a conventional laptop appearance) and an easel mode in which the base of the computer and its display component stand vertically forming an inverted “V.” The portable computer includes a hinge assembly that couples the display component to the base of the computer, and allows the display component to be rotated about an axis along an interface between the display component and the base to configure the portable computer between a closed position, the laptop mode and the easel mode.

Abstract: A system and method for discounting the cost of goods based on social throttling is disclosed. A discount system is provided with discounting parameters that can include a starting price for the good, a price progression of the good based on the numbers of purchases, a maximum discount, and other parameters. During the promotion, as the number of purchases increases, the total discount also increases according to those parameters. Additionally, further discount incentives can be provided to individuals who promote the promotion on social media, or based on other factors, such as whether they are early adopters or frequent participants. Accordingly, the retailer benefits from increased sales and the customers benefit from reduced prices.

Abstract: A locking mechanism for a recliner assembly. The locking mechanism includes a plate and a pawl. The plate includes a peripheral lip having an interior face that defines a plurality of teeth. The pawl includes first teeth positioned at opposing ends thereof and second teeth positioned between the first teeth. Each of the first teeth has a first flat face and a second flat face. Each of the second teeth has one flat face and one curved face. The pawl is positionable between (i) a first position where the pawl does not engage with the plate and (ii) a second position where the pawl engages with the plate.

Abstract: System and apparatus for monitoring a structural element includes a magnetometer capable of being mounted on the structural element, a magnet capable of being mounted on a surface adjacent the structural element so that the magnetometer is positioned within a magnetic field of the magnet; and a computing device capable of being communicatively coupled to the magnetometer, the magnetometer measuring characteristics of the magnetic field of the magnet, the computing device determining deflection of the structural element based on the measured characteristics of the magnetic field and a mathematical relationship between characteristics of the magnetic field and position of the magnetometer in relation to the magnet.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the disclosure, a method of generating a low-poly mesh for a three-dimensional (3D) model is provided. In the method, an edge-collapse operation is performed on each of a plurality of edges of an input mesh to generate a simplified mesh in which a number of faces of the input mesh is reduced by the edge-collapse operation. A position of at least one vertex of the simplified mesh is updated to generate an updated mesh in which a distance between the simplified mesh and the input mesh is reduced. The low-poly mesh is generated based on an aligned mesh in which positions of vertices of the updated mesh are optimized by minimizing a shape difference between the simplified mesh and the updated mesh.

Abstract: An exercise machine comprising a resistance mechanism, a supporting frame, and a movable member which is movable relative to the supporting frame into and between a rest position and an extended position during performance of an exercise motion by a user. Movement of the movable member towards the extended position is resisted by the resistance mechanism. A stop device stops the movable member in the rest position, the stop device having an engagement member which engages and is able to translate along a stop surface on the supporting frame when the movable member is moved into the rest position.

Abstract: A keying scheme for single pair connectors provides the functionality needed to provide an institution with a level of security for private networks. The keying scheme relies upon three keying features to create at least seven different keying patterns, whose uniqueness can be additionally enhanced through color coding. The keying schemes for a single pair free connector include extensions that extend beyond a standardized forward face perimeter. Corresponding keying schemes are provided in mating receptacle connectors and couplers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model to generate a suggested draft reply to a selected message. A message generation system and method are described that use inferred context to improve the suggested draft reply message for the user. Various message data and additional context are obtained and included in a prompt provided to the AI model to improve suggested content. In some examples, the message data and additional context include a message thread history and previously sent messages, profile information of the sender and recipient(s) of the selected message, known relationship information between the sender and the user, etc. For instance, the user's preferred communication style and talking points can be inferred based on the profile data, relationship data, and the user's past communications with similar participants and used to tailor the suggested draft reply to the user.
