Abstract: Embodiments include systems and techniques to perform secure transactions including processing registration information for each computing device of a plurality of computing devices having authority over a financial account. In one example, embodiments include receiving a pending transaction against the financial account from a computing device. Embodiments include executing an authentication protocol to determine the computing device is a member of the plurality of computing devices based upon the registration information, and processing data identifying another computing device within a configurable distance from the computing device. Embodiments further include the system to execute the authentication protocol to determine the other computing device is a member of the plurality of computing devices based upon the registration information and bypass a portion of a security procedure for authorizing execution of the pending transaction.

Abstract: A method includes, for each training sample of a plurality of training samples, processing, using an RNN-T model, a corresponding sequence of acoustic frames to obtain an n-best list of speech recognition hypotheses, and, for each speech recognition hypothesis of the n-best list, determining a corresponding number of word errors relative to a corresponding ground-truth transcription. For a top-ranked hypothesis from the n-best list, the method includes determining a first loss based on the corresponding ground-truth transcription. The method includes identifying, as an oracle hypothesis, the speech recognition hypothesis from the n-best list having the smallest corresponding number of word errors relative to the corresponding ground-truth transcription, and determining a second loss for the oracle hypothesis based on the corresponding ground-truth transcription.

Abstract: An extrusion assembly for a micro-puree machine uses a plunger coupled to the main driven shaft to push the processed ingredients out of a nozzle coupled to the processing bowl. The plunger includes a seal around its perimeter to ensure maximum contact with the walls of the bowl and thus allow for maximum extrusion yield. The extrude function is integrated into a program on the main user interface with a predetermined translation speed/flow rate.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a face portion for striking a golf ball and an enclosed interior cavity. A filler material may be inside the interior cavity and may reinforce the face portion. The filler material may include a low density polymer material to enable discretionary mass placement to other areas of the golf club head to improve certain mass properties of the golf club head. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

In one variation, a plurality of protrusions are disposed on the external wall and define a plurality of gaps there between.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using a generative artificial intelligence (AI) model to generate a suggested draft reply to a selected message. A message generation system and method are described that use guardrails that prevent unnecessary AI model processing and accidental sending of an AI model-generated draft. In some examples, draft reply-generation is limited to a subset of messages (e.g., focused, non-confidential) and triggering of the draft reply generation is performed only after user interaction criteria are satisfied. In some examples, a confirmation message is presented when the draft reply is attempted to be sent with no changes or quickly after the draft is generated. For instance, the guardrails limit the number of times the AI model is invoked to generate suggested replies and further prevents users from accidentally sending drafts generated from the AI model.

Abstract: A dual-function, combined thermal/structural structure for simultaneously holding and cooling one or more battery cells that are stacked inside of a battery pack. The dual-function structure comprises: (1) a first cooling plate with a first plurality of parallel internal coolant channels; (2) a second cooling plate with a second plurality of parallel internal coolant channels; (3) a first structural side plate; (4) a second structural side plate; and (5) fasteners for joining the first cooling plate, the second cooling plate, the first structural side plate, and the second structural side plate together into an rectangular, box-like, cooled structure. The first and second cooling plates simultaneously structurally support and thermally cool one or more battery cells on at least two opposite sides. Additional horizontal cooling plates can be used to thermally cool and structurally support the underside of each battery cell, thereby providing a 3-sided cooling effect.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for determining signal offset correction signals. In embodiments, first and second magnetic field sensing elements generate first and second channels that are in quadrature. Signal correction processing includes storing amplitudes of the first and second channel signals when an amplitude of the channel signals cross zero and determine an offset of the first and second channel signals based on the stored amplitudes.

Abstract: A pixelated electronic sensor is disclosed for imaging from infra-red to ultraviolet wavelengths, composed of a CMOS integrated circuit plus layers of nano-materials monolithically integrated via low temperature post-processing. Co-design, simulation, and integration methods for the device are described. Each pixel has color-resolved single photon sensitivity without dark counts and without inefficiency. The device operates at temperatures above 70° Kelvin. Current state of the art imagers that can color-resolve single photons are of bolometric or filter type. Bolometric devices must operate at temperature below 1° Kelvin and are limited to few pixels. Devices that use filters are inefficient as all the photons rejected by a filter are wasted. Single photon imagers that operate at non-cryogenic temperature (like Silicon Photomultipliers) have large dark counts typically measured in MHz/cm2.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to polymer-aerogel/fiber composite materials, polymer-aerogel/textile composite materials, and systems and methods for producing them. The gel material can comprise, in some embodiments, a network of polymer. The fiber and/or textile material can comprise at least one of any natural, synthetic, and/or mineral fiber. In some cases, certain combinations of materials, solvents, and/or processing steps may be synergistically employed so as to enable manufacture of materials suitable for use in apparel, soft goods, and other consumer applications which may benefit from the properties of a polymer-aerogel/fiber composite and/or the polymer-aerogel/textile composite.

Abstract: An infrastructure system facilitates trace-based surveys to query users their experiences with pull request workflows. For example, the infrastructure system may receive from a client device associated with a user a pull request for making one or more changes to a programming code repository. The infrastructure system may generate a trace based on a pull request workflow including operations for making the change(s). The trace includes spans, each of which correspond to one or more operations in the pull request workflow. The infrastructure system generates log files, each log file includes data logged during the one or more operations of a span. The log files may be stored as a dataset of the trace. The infrastructure system may transmit a survey to the client device based on the dataset. The infrastructure system may also modify the pull request workflow based on the user's response to the survey.

Abstract: A truck body roof Installation with an edge cap for attachment of a roof onto a truck body. The edge cap construction and installation on the truck body secures the roof the top rail of the truck body with adhesive and without holes or localized fasteners. The edges of the roof are bonded and sealed to the top rail with a layer of adhesive applied and held by the edge cap between the roof and the truck body with a desired adhesive curing thickness. The edge cap construction and installation mitigates water penetration and mechanically protects the roof edges.

Abstract: An automated additive assembly for a micro-puree machine has a body including a reservoir configured for holding an additive ingredient. A channel is defined through the body, and a passage is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the channel. A plunger is configured for movement within the reservoir. Movement of the plunger within the reservoir in a first direction forces the additive ingredient through the channel such that the additive ingredient is combined with the processed ingredients extruded through the nozzle.

Abstract: A tool for a robotic arm is configured to move an electric charger to an electric vehicle. The tool includes a base configured to be secured to the robotic arm, a vision sensor disposed on the base, a hook including a proximal end fixed to the base, a distal end having an arcuate shape, and a void defined between the proximal end and the distal end, and a gripper extending below the base. The gripper includes a track, two opposing fingers configured to move along the track, and an actuator configured to retract the two opposing fingers along the track.

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to a vehicle trailer light assembly monitoring system. An example system includes a metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) connected in series with a light assembly of the vehicle trailer. A voltage driver is configurable by the controller to selectively couple into a gate terminal of the MOSFET one of a first voltage that places the MOSFET in a resistor mode of operation, a second voltage that places the MOSFET in a switched-on mode of operation, or a third voltage that places the MOSFET in a switched-off mode of operation. In an example implementation, the controller determines a presence or an absence of the vehicle trailer and/or of the light assembly, based on evaluating a voltage drop across the light assembly that is detected by the voltage level detector when the MOSFET is placed in the resistor mode of operation.

Abstract: A method of generating an iso-surface mesh for a three-dimensional (3D) model is provided. In the method a plurality of voxels is generated in a bounding box of an input mesh, where a size of each of the plurality of voxels is based on a size of the bounding box of the input mesh and an iso-value. One or more iso-surfaces in each of the plurality of voxels are determined based on an unsigned distance function and the iso-value. One or more feature points in each of the plurality of voxels are determined based on the one or more iso-surfaces in the respective voxel and a constraint function. A feature mesh is generated based on the determined one or more feature points, and an edge flip operation is performed on each of a plurality of edges of the feature mesh to generate the iso-surface mesh.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated generation and customization of interfaces are disclosed herein. The method includes receiving a request to launch an interface and identifying a subject of the interface and a viewing user of the interface. Based on attributes of one or both of the subject and the viewing user, a page is selected and customized. One or several containers associated with the page are identified. Data associated with the containers is retrieved and customized, and the container is likewise customized. A customized view is generated based on the customized page, the customized one or more containers, and the customized data.
