Abstract: Video quality analysis may be used in many multimedia transmission and communication applications, such as encoder optimization, stream selection, and/or video reconstruction. An objective VQA metric that accurately reflects the quality of processed video relative to a source unprocessed video may take into account both spatial measures and temporal, motion-based measures when evaluating the processed video. Temporal measures may include differential motion metrics indicating a difference between a frame difference of a plurality of frames of the processed video relative to that of a corresponding plurality of frames of the source video. In addition, neural networks and deep learning techniques can be used to develop additional improved VQA metrics that take into account both spatial and temporal aspects of the processed and unprocessed videos.

Abstract: A method of training a custom hotword model includes receiving a first set of training audio samples. The method also includes generating, using a speech embedding model configured to receive the first set of training audio samples as input, a corresponding hotword embedding representative of a custom hotword for each training audio sample of the first set of training audio samples. The speech embedding model is pre-trained on a different set of training audio samples with a greater number of training audio samples than the first set of training audio samples. The method further includes training the custom hotword model to detect a presence of the custom hotword in audio data. The custom hotword model is configured to receive, as input, each corresponding hotword embedding and to classify, as output, each corresponding hotword embedding as corresponding to the custom hotword.

A computing system is configured to detect at least one question in a message thread and to determine if the message thread includes at least one answer responding to the at least one question. Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, apparatus, and computer program product embodiments for dynamic mitigation of CGN IPv4 address provisioning for network gateways when adverse conditions are in effect. A network gateway may be provisioned with a shared WAN IP address from a pool of IP addresses designated for Carrier Grade Network Address Translation (CGN) and configured to detect the occurrence of an adverse condition for a connection provisioned the shared WAN IP address. Upon detecting an adverse condition, the network gateway may send a request for a new IP address to a DHCP server configured to recognize flags indicating an adverse condition. The DHCP server may then provision the gateway with a new public IP address.

Abstract: The disclosure herein describes training a global model based on a plurality of data sets. The global model is applied to each data set of the plurality of data sets and a plurality of gradients is generated based on that application. At least one gradient quality metric is determined for each gradient of the plurality of gradients. Based on the determined gradient quality metrics of the plurality of gradients, a plurality of weight factors is calculated. The plurality of gradients is transformed into a plurality of weighted gradients based on the calculated plurality of weight factors and a global gradient is generated based on the plurality of weighted gradients. The global model is updated based on the global gradient, wherein the updated global model, when applied to a data set, performs a task based on the data set and provides model output based on performing the task.

The drilling and fracturing fluids and additives described herein may be produced using the AVAPĀ® process technology to produce a nanocellulose precursor, followed by low-energy refining to produce nanocellulose for incorporation into a variety of drilling and fracturing fluids and additives.
