Abstract: A data processing system implements techniques for operating and recovering databases that includes a plurality of replicas. The plurality of replicas includes a primary replica, a secondary replica, and a delta replica. The primary replica handles read and write operations, the secondary replica is a backup of the primary replica capable of read-only operations. The delta replica comprising a copy of the transactional log information of the primary replica but not the data. The system detects a failure of the primary and secondary replicas. The system instantiates a recovery workflow using the delta replica that includes initializing a second secondary replica; causing the second secondary replica to download backup data that represents a state of the primary replica prior to failure of the primary replica; updating the secondary replica using the backup data; and promoting the secondary replica to the primary replica.

Abstract: A crossbow includes a frame including a riser, a first and a second cam, a first and a second flexible limb, a first power cable, a second power cable, and a drawstring. Each cam has a larger diameter portion and a smaller diameter portion. The first power cable has a first end attached to a mounting position on the riser and a second end attached to the smaller diameter portion of the first cam. The second power cable has a first end attached to a mounting position on the riser and a second end attached to the smaller diameter portion of the second cam. The drawstring is attached to the larger diameter portion of the first cam and the larger diameter portion of the second cam. The drawstring wraps at least one full wind around the larger diameter portions of the cams when the crossbow is undrawn.

Abstract: Systems and methods for supporting a temporary data boost include a first wireless communication device which receives a signal from a second wireless communication device. The signal can include information for obtaining a model from a server used by the first wireless communication device to generate an avatar associated with a user of the second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device can transmit a request to retrieve the model from the server, where the request identifies a data size of the model and an address of the server. The first wireless communication device may receive, via the core network from the server, data corresponding to the model from the server, where the data is prioritized by the core network according to the request.

Abstract: An electronic commerce (e-commerce) system may send advertisement emails to customers that are registered with the e-commerce system. The advertisement emails may include mailto links. Each mailto link describes an email message that is generated when that link is selected. When a mailto link is selected, the generated email message includes one or more parameters related to a money transfer made by the customer to a second financial account. For example, the generated email message may include a customer identifier, and/or one or more parameters that indicate the second financial account to which a money transfer should be made, and an amount to be transferred. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, communicate with a payment processing system to perform the money transfer indicated in the message.

The first section may define a pod outlet and be configured to hold a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The second section may define a pod inlet and be configured to heat the non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The pod inlet is in fluidic communication with the pod outlet via a flow path. The flow path may include a first diverged portion, a second diverged portion, and a converged portion. A non-nicotine e-vaping device may include a device body defining a through hole configured to receive the non-nicotine pod assembly such that a pod inlet for the air flow is exposed when the non-nicotine pod assembly is seated within the through hole.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a high density ultrasound coupling gel having improved ultrasound coupling, thermal transfer, drug delivery, and long duration ultrasound treatment. The high density ultrasound coupling gel includes a water-based ultrasound transmission gel material in a concentration amount of between about 90 and 99 weight percent (wt %) and a sodium dopant in a concentration amount of between about 1 and 10 wt %. The water-soluble ultrasound transmission gel material is effective to conduct acoustic energy. The sodium dopant is effective to increase density of the water-based ultrasound transmission gel material. The high density ultrasound coupling gel has a density of between about 1 and 2 grams per milliliter (g/mL). The present disclosure also relates to the use of the high density ultrasound coupling gel in ultrasound coupling devices, ultrasound systems, and methods of treatment such as long-duration ultrasound therapeutic treatment.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to video coding and particularly to methods, devices, and systems for signaling prediction modes in recursively partitioned video frames. For example, a regional prediction mode flag syntax element may be introduced for indicating whether an entire coding region of a video frame signaled as being of a first predefined prediction mode is entirely coded in a second predefined prediction mode or not. The signaling schemes described in this disclosure facilitate reducing signaling overhead in video frames that employ a mix of different prediction modes.

The wireless device restarts a deactivation timer associated with the secondary cell in response to communicating, via the secondary cell, an uplink packet or a downlink packet with the base station during a first time interval of the plurality of time intervals.

The transceiver may be configured to receive information associated with a pick-up point of a user and a real-time geolocation of a user device associated with the user. The processor may be configured to obtain the information associated with the pick-up point from the transceiver, and determine that a predefined condition may be met based on the information associated with the pick-up point. The processor may further obtain the real-time geolocation responsive to determining that the predefined condition may be met. The processor may then output the real-time geolocation on the HMI.

Abstract: Novel neuroprotective preparations of hemp oil and magnesium are disclosed herein. The disclosed systems and methods provide tools to generate customized models (or AI agents) that are configured with features like tailored knowledge, capabilities, and instructions that make them faster, more efficient, and use less computational resources. AI agents may offer several technical advantages of improved efficiency, resource use, and connectivity. This disclosure describes systems and methods to configure, evaluate, generate, and deploy the custom models that can more efficiently run specific tasks. Disclosed systems and methods are configured to, for example, receive a query to generate a custom model, generate the AI agent custom model with the information in the query, and then resolve user queries more efficiently using the custom model.
