Abstract: Computer systems and computer-implemented methods improve a base neural network. In an initial training, preliminary activations values computed for base network nodes for data in the training data set are stored in memory. After the initial training, a new node set is merged into the base neural network to form an expanded neural network, including directly connecting each of the nodes of the new node set to one or more base network nodes. Then the expanded neural network is trained on the training data set using a network error loss function for the expanded neural network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for distributed ledger for physical material. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining a first set of information regarding a physical material to be verified, the first set of information including hundreds of values for channels of a spectrum of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the physical material in response to an irradiation of the physical material; obtaining a second set of information regarding the physical material to be verified; sending the first and second sets of information over the communication network to a verification computer system; receiving verification information; initiating addition of information usable to identify the first set of information and the digital signature to a distributed digital ledger; receiving confirmation of the addition of the information useable to identify the first set of information and the digital signature to the distributed digital ledger; and reporting that the physical material has been verified.

Abstract: A template builder for dynamically generated executables intakes objects from a metadata repository and template components from a template component library. An interface receives user selections of a test data object from among the objects in the metadata repository and template component from among the template components in the template component library. The template builder builds a candidate script template with the selected template component(s) and customizes the candidate script template, using the selected test data object into a generated script preview. The interface displays the generated script preview, and upon execution of the generated script preview, displays results of the execution. If the user is satisfied, the candidate script template may be persisted and used in templated data tests or other templated computational tasks.

Abstract: A ground site for a building is prepared for construction of a portland cement concrete slab-on-grade (PCC SoG). Using a computerized weather application, weather conditions for a geographic locale that includes the ground site are monitored to identify a window-of-time during which the weather application indicates there is a less than 50% chance of precipitation at the geographic locale. The surface of the ground site is proof rolled during the window-of-time. Using concrete emplacement equipment during the window-of-time and only after the ground site passes proof rolling, wet concrete is emplaced on the ground site to a nominal thickness that does not exceed 7 inches and that is at least one inch less than a PCC SoG design for the ground site having a design thickness based on design guidelines set forth by the American Concrete Institute. Emplacing must be completed with at least 4 hours remaining in the window-of-time.

A data operation is generated based on a received data operation request. The data operation request includes a bookkeeping page identifier. A bookkeeping page of the record index structure is identified based on the bookkeeping page identifier and an index page of the record index structure with a parameter of the data operation. If a timestamp in metadata of the identified index page matches a corresponding timestamp associated with the identified index page in metadata of the bookkeeping page, the data operation is performed on the identified index page. The disclosure enables the use and maintenance of large data indexes in data storage systems where data entries expire over time due to automatic temporal compaction processes.

In addition, a package integrity feature is applied to the bottom side and covers the contact window.
