Abstract: A cradle that includes a maternity band, a support structure attached to the maternity band, and one or more straps attached the support structure, wherein the one or more straps include at least one top strap and at least one bottom strap. The method for using the cradle includes disposing a cradle over a midsection of a person, positioning the at least one top strap below the midsection, securing the at least one top strap to a first connection on the maternity band, positioning the at least one bottom strap above the midsection, and securing the at least one bottom strap to a second connection on the maternity band.

Abstract: In general, a method for treating biosolids may include measuring one or more of pH, alkalinity, magnesium concentration, ortho-phosphorus concentration, total phosphorus content, ammonia content, total nitrogen content, total solids content, total volatile solids, polymer consumption, and metal salt consumption associated with a treatment process for wastewater solids. A metal salt dosage for amending the wastewater solids may be determined based upon, at least in part, an initial ortho-phosphorus concentration and a reduction capacity of the metal salt. A magnesium compound dosage may be determined for one or more of increasing, decreasing, and maintaining a pH of the wastewater solids. The magnesium compound dosage may be based upon, at least in part, a calculated anticipated change in pH of the wastewater solids resulting from an addition of the metal salts. The method may also include amending the treatment process with the determined metal salt dosage and the determined magnesium compound dosage.

Abstract: A duck call device includes a tone board having a tone surface and a tone board port defined, relative to airflow, behind the tone surface. The tone board port is divided into multiple channels to form a multi-channel port. A reed is located on the tone surface and is configured to vibrate there against. The multi-channel port may be created by a longitudinal central rib dividing a portion of the tone board port, wherein the longitudinal central rib contacts the reed while air is passing through the duck call device. The tone surface may surround a portion of the tone board port with recessed edges, and the central rib may have recessed edges.

Abstract: Techniques of keyless authentication of computing services in distributed computing systems are disclosed herein. One example technique includes upon receiving a command to instantiate a computing service, transmitting a request to an authentication service for an identity assertion token corresponding to an application execution of which instantiates the computing service. The example technique can also include upon receiving the requested identity assertion token, storing the received identity assertion token in the container and modifying an entry of a configuration file in the container that allows the instantiated computing service to access the stored identity assertion token and authenticate to the authentication service using the identity assertion token.

Abstract: Implementations of the disclosed technologies pre-fetch search results. Implementations receive first input from a search session of a user device, where the first input includes at least a portion of a search term but does not initiate a search. Implementations determine context data associated with the first input, determine that a combination of the first input and the context data satisfies a pre-fetch threshold, determine intent data based on at least a portion of the context data, generate a search query based on the first input and the intent data, and pre-fetch a first subset of search results based on the search query. In response to a second input received subsequent to the first input, where the second input contains an initiate search signal, implementations initiate rendering of the pre-fetched first subset of search results in the search session at the user device.

Abstract: A method and system for storing data in portable storage devices. Specifically, the disclosed method and system provide a solution for the write-hole problem inflicting persistent storage, especially redundant array of independent disks (RAID) configured storage. The write-hole problem may arise from the occurrence of power failure during a write operation of data to RAID configured storage, subsequently resulting in disparities between the data and parity information thereof—the consistency there-between of which is critical to data reconstruction upon disk failure. To rectify these inconsistencies, a full-stripe (or full-block set) write is recommended, which the disclosed method and system implements through the use of, and re-mapping of relationships between, virtual, physical, and in-memory block sets.

Abstract: A three-dimensional memory device includes an alternating stack of insulating layers and word-line-level electrically conductive layers located over a substrate, and a vertical layer stack located over the alternating stack, the vertical layer stack including an insulating cap layer, drain select electrodes, and a drain-select-level insulating layer. The drain select electrodes are laterally spaced apart from each other by drain-select-level isolation structures. Memory stack structures including a respective vertical semiconductor channel and a respective memory film vertically extend through the alternating stack and the vertical layer stack. Each of the vertical semiconductor channels includes a word-line-level semiconductor channel portion extending through the alternating stack, a connection channel portion contacting a top end of the word-line-level semiconductor channel, and a drain-select-level semiconductor channel portion vertically extending through the vertical layer stack.

Abstract: In order to facilitate the entity resolution and entity activity tracking and indexing, systems and methods include receiving first source records from a first database and second source records from a record database. A candidate set of second source records is determined by a heuristic search in the set of second source records. A candidate pair feature vector associated with each candidate pair of first and second source records is generated. An entity matching machine learning model predicts matching first source records for each candidate second source record based on the respective candidate pair feature vector. An aggregate quantity associated with the matching first source records is aggregated from a quantity associated with each first source record, and a quantity index for each candidate second source record is determined based the aggregate quantities. Each quantity index is displayed to a user.

Abstract: Techniques for context-based display of content and alert based on distance on a multi-display system are described. For instance, the described techniques can be implemented to determine a device context based on one or more of a first instance of media content displayed on a first display device positioned at a first surface of a client device or an environment in which the client device is positioned. Based on the device context, the described techniques enable output of a second instance of media content via a second display device positioned at a second surface of the client device.

Abstract: A buffer tube for a firearm can include a body defining an interior cavity for receiving a buffer spring and a rail disposed on and/or formed from the outer surface of the body. The rail can include one or more pin holes configured to receive a pin of a stock to lock the stock in a position. The buffer tube can also include a slide bar channel defined through at least a portion of the rail and configured to allow a slide bar to slide therein relative to the one or more pin holes to urge a pin out of a respective pin hole and/or to block a pin from being received by the pin holes.

Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to a method for identifying offline accounts for online adoption targeting, including obtaining an account group data set; generating, using the account group data set, an enhanced account group data set comprising the account group data set and a derived data item; obtaining, using a ML model and the enhanced account group data set, a key metric set; performing a clustering analysis using the key metric set and a portion of the enhanced account group data set to obtain account clusters; assigning a weight to a cluster of the account clusters; performing a similarity computation for an offline account of the account group using the key metric set and the portion of the enhanced account group data set to obtain a weighted similarity score; adding the weighted similarity score to a ranked list of weighted similarity scores; and providing the ranked list to an interested entity.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to hardware interconnects and corresponding devices and systems for non-coherently accessing data in shared memory devices. Data produced and consumed by devices implementing the hardware interconnect can read and write directly to a memory device shared by multiple devices, and limit coherent memory transactions to relatively smaller flags and descriptors used to facilitate data transmission as described herein. Devices can communicate less data on input/output channels, and more data on memory and cache channels that are more efficient for data transmission. Aspects of the disclosure are directed to devices configured to process data that is read from the shared memory device. Devices, such as hardware accelerators, can receive data indicating addresses for different data buffers with data for processing, and non-coherently read or write the contents of the data buffers on a memory device shared between the accelerators and a host device.

Abstract: Particular aspects of this disclosure relate to computerized systems for generating and using improved data structures and functionality to efficiently render different multiple access-controlled resources (or properties of access-controlled resources) that are part of a concept. Often times, two or more resources of a concept or properties of a resource are subject to different access controls. This adds computing complexity as to whether or not a user is granted access to the entire concept or resource, a portion of the concept or resource, or none of the concept or resources and what exactly is surfaced back to the user when there are resources or properties the user does and does not have access to. Some embodiments accordingly render an efficient composite view of concepts or resources where some resources or properties are accessible by the requesting user, while other resources or properties are not accessible by the requesting user.

Abstract: This document relates to an optical device that uses adaptive optics as part of an optical system. The adaptive optics can be used to correct light rays that correspond to a portion of an eye box based on information received from an eye-tracking unit, and can also correct for aberrations in the optics in the optical device. The adaptive optics include corrective elements that can be modified using modifying elements to correct the angle of light rays, such that rays associated with a specific pupil position and gaze direction of a user's eye can be made parallel and ensure a high quality image is viewed by the user.

An agent computer with a first processor and a first memory receives a batch notification identifying a batch of one or more customer records in the agent computer, for communication in the near future. The one or more customer records is associated with one or more customers. A second computer with a second processor and a second memory provides the batch notification identifying the batch of one or more customer records in the agent computer. The system connects the agent with the customer associated with a customer record selected from the batch by the agent.

Abstract: A method and system determine a profile of a website. A record of visits by a group of profiled users to a web site is generated. Each of the profiled users has associated user demographic information. The profile for the website is calculated using the associated user demographic information and the record of visits. The profile consists of demographic characteristics of the web site. A website forecast is determined for a defined time period. The website forecast characterizes a target audience that consists of members of demographic subgroups with percentages in the website forecast that are greater than a predetermined threshold. A data or service is provided based on the calculated profile and website forecast.

An expandable impeller assembly includes an expandable impeller and an expandable cannula coupled to the distal end of the catheter body and housing the expandable impeller, the expandable cannula comprising a substantially straight segment having a distal inlet and a proximal outlet, the substantially straight segment configured to straddle an aortic valve. The catheter body comprises a proximal vessel contact zone and a distal vessel contact zone that are each proximal to the substantially straight segment, the proximal vessel contact zone and distal vessel contact zone configured to provide a force against an aortic arch to stabilize the expandable impeller assembly across the aortic valve.
