  • Patent number: 11965383
Abstract: A downhole shock absorbing sub which includes a tubular main stem extending through a sub housing and a lateral shock absorbing assembly positioned within the sub housing. The lateral shock absorbing assembly includes an activator ring positioned around the main stem, the activator ring including a plurality of wedge inserts positioned around a perimeter of the activator ring. A reaction collar is positioned on each side of the activator ring with the reaction collars including ramp surfaces engaged by the wedge inserts. A spring system is positioned to resist movement of the reaction collars away from the activator ring, whereby lateral movement of the main stem causes the wedge inserts to move the reaction collars against the spring system.

  • Patent number: 11967314
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for building contextual transcripts. A computing system may receive a textual transcript of a meeting that contains a variety of statements made by various attendees of the meeting, select the first statement made during the meeting, and determine which meeting attendee made the statement. A machine learning model corresponding to the particular attendee that has been trained using previously received statements by the particular attendee may be used on the utterance to determine the tone of the utterance. That tone may be recorded within the transcript and this process may be repeated for each utterance to build a contextual transcript.

  • Patent number: 11964756
Abstract: An aeronautical apparatus is disclosed that has two pairs of wings: an aft pair and a fore pair. Each wing has a thrust-angle motor. An assembly is coupled to each thrust-angle motor. Assemblies coupled to the fore wings have a propeller motor with a propeller and a landing element which is a wheel or a landing foot. When in forward flight, the propeller rotational axis is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuselage and the landing element is pointing toward the aft of the aeronautical apparatus to limit the drag presented by the landing element. When in vertical flight or hovering, the propeller rotational axis is perpendicular to the longitudinal and transverse axes of the fuselage and the landing element is deployed downward to facilitate landing.

  • Patent number: 11966449
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for generating custom content. The system may generate a first webpage comprising first feature(s). The system may transmit the first webpage for display via a graphical user interface (GUI) of a user device. The system may iteratively, until a predetermined threshold is achieved: receive data corresponding to a first user; generate, by an encoder, encoded data based on the data; generate, by a decoder, second feature(s) based on the encoded data; modify the first webpage to generate a second webpage comprising the second feature(s); transmit the second webpage for display via the GUI of the user device; receive user feedback associated with the second webpage; and determine whether the user feedback exceeds the predetermined threshold. Responsive to the predetermined threshold being achieved, the system may transmit the latest version of the second webpage without requesting additional user feedback.

  • Patent number: 11964288
Abstract: A droplet generator includes a chamber including an enclosed space filled with gas having vapor, a tube extending through the chamber, a gas flow channel inside the tube, and a heater in the chamber. The tube includes a sidewall having an outer surface exposed to the enclosed space of the chamber, and an inner surface. The tube contains liquid. The heater is operable to change a phase of the liquid contained in the tube to vapor such that the vapor is provided into the enclosed space. A pressure in the enclosed space is higher than a pressure in the gas flow channel such that the vapor in the enclosed space flows to the gas flow channel by passing through the tube.

  • Patent number: 11965429
Abstract: A turbomachine component has a wall outer surface and an internal coolant source. A film-cooling hole is in the wall and extends from the internal coolant source to the wall outer surface. The film-cooling hole includes a metering section in fluid communication with the internal coolant source, and a diffuser section in fluid communication with the metering section and including a first internal surface spaced from a second internal surface. A coating collector receives part of a coating and is part of the diffuser section. The film-cooling hole also includes a hood section including a member extending outwardly from the wall outer surface. The member may include a hood internal surface contiguous with the first internal surface of the diffuser section and a hood outer surface parallel to the wall outer surface. The hood section reduces, and possibly prevents, the coating from filling the film-cooling hole during application thereof.

  • Patent number: 11964061
Abstract: An orthopedic precast comprises a knitted shell portion and a knitted flexible portion. The precast is positioned about a limb or other mold, and heat or other hardening agent is used to harden the shell portion, while retaining flexibility in the flexible portion. Contemplated hardening agents include light, heat, and chemical polymerizing agents. In some embodiments the shell portion includes threads or yarns comprising a thermoplastic, which is then hardened by heating the thermoplastic sufficiently to at least partially melt, and thereby fuse together some of the threads or yarns, and then cooling to ambient temperature. In other embodiments, the precast is contained in a bag or other airtight container, along with a self-heating composition that is triggered to release heat upon contact with oxygen. In still other embodiments, the precast includes a prepolymer of other polymerizable composition, which is polymerized by effective application of light, heat, and/or chemical agent(s).
