Abstract: The crossbow includes a center rail, and a first flexible limb and a second flexible limb coupled with the center rail. The crossbow includes a first cam and a second cam rotatably coupled with the first flexible limb and the second flexible limb, respectively. The crossbow includes a draw string coupled with the first cam and the second cam, the draw string configured to move between a released configuration and a drawn configuration. The crossbow includes an upper cable anchor and a lower cable anchor coupled to the center rail and positioned to a first side of the center rail. The lower cable anchor is positioned vertically beneath the upper cable anchor. The crossbow includes a stop coupled to the center rail and positioned adjacent the upper cable anchor and the lower cable anchor. The stop contacts the draw string with the draw string in the released configuration.
Abstract: In some aspects, a computer receives audio data from one or more microphones, processes the audio data to create processed audio, and performs an analysis of the processed audio using artificial intelligence to identify, in the processed audio, at least one of: a sound, a word, or a phrase. The computer determines, based on the analysis, that the processed audio includes one or more threats. The computer determines, based on the one or more threats, that a particular threat threshold of a plurality of threat thresholds has been satisfied and sends a notification to a designated recipient. The notification includes a link to listen to the processed audio.

Abstract: A fishing attachment for use at night includes an LED bulb that is held and protected within a waterproof structure, namely, a transparent tube and a shrink-wrapped cover which seals at its opposite ends to the tube and also to a battery housing to which the LED bulb is operatively connected. When a battery is held within the battery housing, the LED bulb lights up and is therefore visible through the tube. A waterproof cap seals the top end of the tube. In use, the attachment secures to a fishing bobber that is attached to a fishing line, so that when a fish strikes a bottom end of the fishing line and pulls the bobber downwardly, the illuminated LED bulb also moves downwardly. This enables visual detection of a fish strike at in dimly lit conditions, including nighttime.

Abstract: Digital image processing methods performed by a computer are disclosed. In one example, a digital image captured by a real camera having intrinsic and extrinsic parameters is received. One or more distortion correction transformations are applied to the digital image to generate a distortion-corrected digital image. The distortion-corrected digital image is sub-divided into a plurality of distortion-corrected sub-images. For each distortion-corrected sub-image of the plurality of distortion-corrected sub-images, the distortion-corrected sub-image is associated with a synthesized recapture camera having synthesized intrinsic and extrinsic parameters mapped from the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of the real camera.

Abstract: Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) can provide security against quantum computers that could feasibly determine private keys from public keys. A server communicating with a device can store and use PKI keys comprising server private key ss, device public key Sd, and device ephemeral public key Ed. The key use can support all of (i) mutual authentication, (ii) forward secrecy, and (iii) shared secret key exchange. The device can encrypt a device public key PK.Device with K1 and send to the server as a first ciphertext. The server can encrypt a server public key PK.Network with at least K1 and send to the device as a second ciphertext.
