Abstract: An automated triage system is provided having at least one memory configured to store programmable instructions and at least one processing device in communication with the at least one memory, wherein the at least one processing device, upon execution of the programmable instructions is caused to automatically receive demographics data for a patient; access or receive a medical history for the patient; receive a medical complaint about a present medical condition; triage the patient based on the demographic data, the medical history, and the medical complaint to determine a level of urgency of treatment needed by the patient; select an appointment service type for servicing the patient based on results of the triage to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits; provide a response to the patient including the appointment service type selected; and initiate an appointment of the appointment service type selected for the patient that is available to the patient.
Abstract: An aerosol-generating article may comprise a liquid storage portion containing a liquid aerosol-forming substrate, and a hydrochromic material provided on the liquid storage portion. The hydrochromic material has a first colour when in the presence of or when in contact with the liquid aerosol-forming substrate and a second colour when in the absence of or when not in contact with the liquid aerosol-forming substrate. An aerosol-generating system may comprise the aerosol-generating article, an aerosol-generating element, and an aerosol-generating device. An aerosol-generating device may comprise an electrical power supply, an electronic photosensor, and a controller configured to control a supply of electrical power from the electrical power supply based on a value of an optical property sensed with the electronic photosensor.
Abstract: Systems, circuits, and methods provide controlled active DC bus discharge, such as for electric vehicles (EVs) or hybrid vehicles. Controlled active DC bus discharge can be provided using gate drivers to control operation of traction inverter switches, such as power transistors, to accomplish a charge bleeding function. Power transistors can be configured so that the gate is connected to the drain, thereby forcing the gate threshold voltage across drain and source. The gate of a power transistor can be actively driven between a threshold voltage and Miller plateau threshold voltage. As a result, several volts can be generated across the power transistor while current decays, therefore safely discharging the system DC bus.

Abstract: A base station transmits configuration parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a primary physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) group comprising a primary cell with a primary PUCCH, and a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell with a secondary PUCCH. The base station transmits, for a cell in the plurality of cells, downlink control information comprising a PUCCH transmit power control (TPC) command and scheduling information for the cell, wherein a downlink control information format of the downlink control information does not have a downlink control information format 3 and a downlink control information format 3A. Abstract: A system, such as an electrified vehicle, includes a battery, such as a traction battery. The controller controls the battery based on adaptive sampled electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements of the battery. The controller may perform the adaptive sampled EIS measurements. The controller may use the adaptive sampled EIS measurements to identify values of parameters of a model, such as an equivalent circuit model (ECM), of the battery. The controller may use the model, with the identified values of the parameters, to detect an internal state of the battery whereby the controller detects the internal state of the battery based on the adaptive sampled EIS measurements.
Abstract: A method for predictive analysis for maintaining a battery charge of a personal monitoring device is provided. The method includes: locking the personal monitoring device to a limb of a monitored person; collecting historical information about the personal monitoring device including movement data of the personal monitoring device and battery charging history of the personal monitoring device; analyzing the collected historical information for patterns of battery charging behavior; receiving a current location of the personal monitoring device; determining whether to send a battery charge reminder to the monitored person, based on at least a current location of the personal monitoring device, a current batter charge, and the patterns of battery charging behavior; and providing, in response to a positive outcome of the determining, a notification to the monitored person to charge the battery.

Abstract: A method can include determining a frame processing operation for one or more frames of an image from an electronic device, the one or more frames of the image corresponding to a body of a user; determining if the electronic device is in alignment; determining if the electronic device is in an environment that satisfies a light threshold; determining pre-selected joint points for the body of the user in the one or more frames of the image based on pre-selected joint landmarks defined in a configuration set; determining a face alignment of the user in the one or more frames of the image; determining hair of the user is properly positioned in the one or more frames of the image; determining enough skin of the user is visible in the one or more frames of the image; and in response to the one or more frames of the image being validated, capturing an image of the user with the pre-selected joint landmarks to enable items to be overlaid on the image of the user. Abstract: A system and method and for providing speech assistance during a virtual meeting includes receiving a request over a communication network to provide speech assistance during a virtual meeting between a plurality of participants and analyzing speech data of the virtual meeting, via a speech impediment detection engine, to detect a speech impediment for one of the plurality of participants. Upon detecting the speech impediment, an avatar is automatically generated for the participant experiencing speech impediment and the avatar is synchronized with the participant's speech in real-time during the communication session to provide real-time visual feedback to the participant. The avatar is then provided for display to the participant.
Abstract: A latch lock assembly to facilitate movement of a closure structure between a stowed position and an open position. The latch lock assembly includes fault detection and electro-mechanical monitoring of components of the latch lock assembly. In the event of a detected fault operating condition by the latch lock assembly, a manual override mechanism may be employed to enable a user to advance the closure structure from the stowed position to the open position.
Abstract: A method for unifying transformers with document signals includes obtaining a training sequence of tokens from a web page. The training sequence of tokens may represent text and the web page is associated with one or more web page signals. Each web page signal includes information relevant to the entire training sequence of tokens. The method includes determining, using the training sequence of tokens, an attention matrix. The attention matrix includes a plurality of weights and the plurality of weights direct focus of a machine learning model on inputs provided to the machine learning model. The method includes adjusting the attention matrix using the one or more web page signals and providing, to the machine learning model, an inference sequence of tokens. The method includes generating, by the machine learning model, a prediction based on the inference sequence of tokens and the adjusted attention matrix.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an exhaust vent assembly including a sleeve, a neck, a damper in the neck, a cap attached to the neck and a collar. The exhaust vent assembly may be configured without any tools and without any penetrative fasteners. The invention is further directed to a utility termination for HVAC line sets, electrical wires or the like. The utility termination includes a plastic sleeve, a plastic cover and a cap. The components for utility terminations may also be used to fabricate the exhaust vent.

The system uses combined sensor data to detect low-magnitude, low-frequency motion, estimate structure deformation constants, and damp structural vibrations with electromagnetic torque application.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to methods and compositions for screening a library of aptamers for aptamers having a binding affinity to a target molecule. The methods and compositions described herein utilize a throughput approach that is able to simultaneously measure binding affinity and link the binding affinity to the identity (e.g., sequence) of the aptamer.

Abstract: Techniques are described for selectively adapting and/or selectively utilizing a noise reduction technique in detection of one or more features of a stream of audio data frames. For example, various techniques are directed to selectively adapting and/or utilizing a noise reduction technique in detection of an invocation phrase in a stream of audio data frames, detection of voice characteristics in a stream of audio data frames (e.g., for speaker identification), etc. Utilization of described techniques can result in more robust and/or more accurate detections of features of a stream of audio data frames in various situations, such as in environments with strong background noise.
