Abstract: A network device includes: a radio configured to operate in a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band; a 32 bit double data rate (DDR) memory having instructions stored therein; a system clock configured to operate at 533 MHz; and a processor. The processor is configured to execute the instructions stored on the memory to cause the network device to: operate the 32 bit DDR memory at 1067 MHz; instruct the radio to transmit data to be transmitted in the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band; and instruct the radio to receive data to be received in the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to folder-based data organization method and system. The method may include obtaining a keyword hierarchy for a plurality of documents. The keyword hierarchy may be configured for organizing the plurality of documents and include a plurality of levels for the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include generating a folder directory in a data storage system based on the keyword hierarchy. A folder hierarchy of the folder directory reflects at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy and folders in the folder hierarchy are named based on corresponding keywords in the at least a portion of the keyword hierarchy. The method may further include determining a target folder for storing one of the documents in the folder directory based on the keyword hierarchy path associated with the document and storing the document to the target folder in the folder directory.

Abstract: A set-top box with an interactive portal and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, the set-top box is deployed to provide an interactive portal in a hospitality establishment having multiple rooms, such as a hotel. The set-top box is associated with a room and includes a housing that secures a television input, a television output, a processor, a transceiver, and memory therein in an interconnected bus architecture. The set-top box generates a default interactive portal as well as a guest-specific interactive portal, which is generated from a guest configuration profile having information including guest identification, a guest channel preference presentation, and a guest service preference presentation with guest account information. The guest configuration profile may also enable the creation of a local area wireless network with substantially the same behavior as the guest's home wireless network.

Abstract: Technologies for grouping images, and ranking the images and the groupings, based on entities shown in the images. Images may be grouped based on faces shown in the images. Different images with faces that indicate the same entity (e.g., Adam) may be automatically grouped together. Different images with faces that indicate the same multiple entities (e.g., the people in my family) may also be automatically grouped together. Such automatic grouping may be based on facial recognition technologies. Further, images and groups of images may be automatically ranked based on the faces shown and entities represented. Such rankings may also be influenced by adjacent data that indicates family and friends and the like, and that can be used to identify such entities in the images.

Abstract: A masterbatch composition suitable for use as a flame retardant in extruded polymer foams, and process for manufacturing the same, and extruded foams containing same; the composition comprising: (a) 20 to 40 parts by weight base resin comprising styrene homopolymer or copolymer; (b) 1 to 16 parts by weight acid scavenger comprising an epoxy-based compound; (c) 2 to 6 parts by weight antioxidant comprising an alkyl or aryl phosphite; and (d) 45 to 60 parts by weight flame retardant comprising a non-hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) brominated polymer or copolymer, wherein the amounts of (a), (b), (c), and (d) total 100 parts by weight; and (e) 0.6 to 10 parts by weight of pH moderator, based on 100 parts of (a) base resin plus (e) water soluble pH moderator.

Abstract: According to the embodiments illustrated herein, a method is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, an input from an operator device, wherein the input facilitates determining a task to be performed. Further, the method comprises activating, by the computing device, a first light device associated with a first location in a workplace in response to receiving the input, wherein the first location is associated with the task to be performed. Furthermore, the method comprises receiving, by the computing device, a first voice input from the operator device, indicative of an exception encountered during execution of the task. Additionally, the method includes modifying the task, in response to determining that the first voice input is indicative of the exception encountered during execution of the task.

Abstract: A bar jack device incorporated with a bottle, specifically a water bottle, is disclosed. The bar jack device may be part of the bottle lid or may be a separate add-on component that may be coupled to the bottle lid. The bar jack device may have one or more grooves designed to receive the central shaft of an exercise bar and orientate such bar in different orientations. The different created orientations of the exercise bar by the bar jack device may allow a user to load or unload weight plates on the sleeves of the exercise bar. Method of use of the bar jack device incorporated with the bottle to make a bar jack assembly is also disclosed. Among other things, the method of use lifts the exercise bar and the weight plates off the ground by using the bar jack device incorporated with the bottle as a pivoting mechanism.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for automatically operating a high voltage resonance circuit. An embodiment of the system includes one or more coils each coil can be an alternating current (AC) coil or a direct current (DC) coil. Ari embodiment of the system further includes a microprocessor that issues commands to control amplitude and frequency of pulses of the one or more coils to reach and maintain a resonant condition for water treatment. The microprocessor determines whether a coil is an AC coil or a DC coil by detecting whether a capacitor is connected in series with the coil. An embodiment of the system further includes one or more sensors that measure the quality of water and provide feedback to the microprocessor.

One example can include first and second portions that rotate around a hinge shaft that is fixedly secured to the first portion and rotationally secured to the second portion. The second portion defining a first contact surface spaced apart from a second contact surface. Multiple friction clips friction fit around the hinge shaft and rotating with the hinge shaft between the first contact surface and the second contact surface.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for generating search results based on contextual information are provided. In some implementations, a method for presenting search results is provided, the method comprising: receiving, using a hardware processor, a query related to media that is currently being presented; identifying a program that is currently being presented; identifying a plurality of keywords associated with the identified program; determining one or more of the plurality of keywords that are contextually relevant to the query; obtaining a plurality of search results based on the query and the one or more contextually relevant keywords; and causing at least one of the plurality of search results to be presented to the user.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method executed by at least one processor includes receiving first historical location information identifying a first location area at which a first user was present at a first time and receiving second location information identifying a second location area at which a second user was present at a second time. The method includes determining that the first historical location information and the second location information each correspond to a particular location area and determining that a characteristic related to the first user corresponds to a preference related to the second user. In response to these determinations, the method includes causing information related to the first user to be presented to the second user. The information related to the first user includes the first location area of the first user relative to the second location area of the second user.

Abstract: A diffuser assembly includes a first blade pivotably coupled to a housing and configured to rotate about a first axis and includes second blade pivotably coupled to the housing and configured to rotate about a second axis. The diffuser assembly includes a linkage mechanism coupled to the first blade and the second blade and configured to transition between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a first direction in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction. In the second configuration, the linkage mechanism is configured to induce rotation of the second blade about the second axis in a second direction, opposite the first direction, in response to rotation of the first blade about the first axis in the first direction.

Abstract: A method for monitoring fuel quality of a power system used in transport is provided. The method includes a controller of the power system determining that the prime mover is actively running. The method also includes the controller monitoring an output of a water-in-fuel (WIF) sensor configured to measure an amount of water accumulated in a water collection reservoir of a fuel/water separator that separates water from fuel passing there through. Also, the method includes the controller determining an amount of fuel passing through the fuel/water separator. Further, the method includes the controller calculating a fuel quality score of the fuel based on the output of the WIF sensor and the amount of fuel having passed through the fuel/water separator. The method further includes the controller triggering different alerts based on the calculated fuel quality score.

Abstract: This application is directed to a speaker device having a rounded enclosure. The rounded enclosure includes two housing elements that are coupled to each other and have a substantially continuous transition. The rounded enclosure has a circular cross section defined by a first radius. A first housing element includes and extends past the circular cross section, and a second housing element has a second maximum radius that is smaller than the first radius. A speaker unit and a circuit board are arranged within the rounded enclosure. The circuit board is electrically coupled to the speaker unit. At least a portion of the first housing element includes perforations configured to enable transmission of sound generated by the speaker unit out of the speaker device. The second housing element has a power connector that is electrically coupled to the circuit board and is configured to receive power from an external power supply.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles for assigning content, such as advertisements, to similar content breaks, such as advertisement placement opportunities, across multiple content providers. The systems disclosed herein automatically identify similar advertisement placement opportunities, such as advertisement placement opportunities occurring at the same time, across a plurality of media content providers, and assign an indicated advertisement spot to as many of the identified advertisement placement opportunities as possible. This is achieved by re-assigning advertisement spots which are already assigned to a slot in one of the advertisement placement opportunities to another slot in order to allow the indicated advertisement spot to be assigned to the slot.

Abstract: A temporary alignment system and method for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using the same threads in the abutment that are used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods for converting an existing prosthesis for screw attachment to implants in a single visit and digital capture of the converted prosthesis are described.

Abstract: Innovations in adaptive encoding and decoding for units of a video sequence can improve coding efficiency when switching between color spaces during encoding and decoding. For example, some of the innovations relate to adjustment of quantization or scaling when an encoder switches color spaces between units within a video sequence during encoding. Other innovations relate to adjustment of inverse quantization or scaling when a decoder switches color spaces between units within a video sequence during decoding.
