    Abstract: A lighting attachment for a flagpole includes at least one reflector that directs light from a light source to illuminate front and rear faces of the flag. In one embodiment, the reflector has at least one concavely dished parabolic surface. In another embodiment, the reflector is held in a sleeve that rotates about the flagpole in response to flag movement. In still another embodiment, a swivel connector is fastened to the top of the flagpole and a lower lighting unit to illuminate a flag is rotatably engaged around the flagpole. In yet another embodiment, a rotatable flag bracket is held in an outer groove of a sleeve of the finial attachment, and a finial globe is illuminated by a light source. The housing for the lighting attachment and/or the finial attachment may include at least one power source, such as solar panels and associated energy accumulators (e.g., batteries).

Upon detection of the magnetic float within the detectable range by the sensor, a controller of the filter device may instruct a pump to pump fluid from the fluid source, through a filtration system of the filter device, and into the pitcher. When the pitcher is full of fluid, the magnetic float will be out of the detectable range of the sensor, such that fluid will stop being transferred from the fluid source to the pitcher.

The fixation apertures receive fasteners suitable for fastening the plantar bone plate to a metatarsal bone. The compression slot receives a fastener at an oblique angle for compressing adjacent portions of the metatarsal bone so as to encourage bone fusion. A curvature along the elongate member is configured to mate the plantar bone plate with the anatomy of the plantar aspect of the metatarsal bone. In one embodiment, the curvature is comprised of at least a first bend and a second bend, such that the plantar bone plate mates with the plantar anatomy of the 5th metatarsal.
