  • Patent number: 12260861
Abstract: Implementations relate to mitigating client device latency in rendering of remotely generated automated assistant content. Some of those implementations mitigate client device latency between rendering of multiple instances of output that are each based on content that is responsive to a corresponding automated assistant action of a multiple action request. For example, those implementations can reduce latency between rendering of first output that is based on first content responsive to a first automated assistant action of a multiple action request, and second output that is based on second content responsive to a second automated assistant action of the multiple action request.

  • Patent number: 12258831
Abstract: A fluid-driven multi-mode extended reach vibration tool is selectively operable to control generating shock waves of different amplitudes by a downhole motor or shock-wave generating tool. Interrupting and then reinstating flow of pressurized fluid through the tool enables switching between different shock wave amplitudes, as such causes rotation of a slot piston to successive positions and enables it to unblock designated fluid ejection paths, while blocking others. Blocking different flow paths and unblocking others allows generating different internal pressures and shock wave amplitudes under the externally-applied fluid pressure downhole. There is also an “off” mode with no vibration, while maintaining well control and fluid pressure at the BHA.

  • Patent number: 12260522
Abstract: Techniques for generating a fused enhanced image. A first image is generated using a first camera of a first modality, and a second image is generated using a second camera of a second modality. Pixels that are common between the two images are identified. Textures for the common pixels are determined. A camera characteristic, which is linked to noise, is identified. A scaling factor is applied to the textures in the first image. A first saliency is determined using the scaled textures. A second saliency is determined using the textures from the second image. An alpha map is generated and reflects edge detection weights that have been computed for each one of the common pixels based on the two saliencies. Based on the alpha map, textures are merged from the common pixels to generate the fused enhanced image.

  • Patent number: 12262019
Abstract: Processing circuitry receives coded information indicative of applying cross-component sample offset (CCSO) with adaptive bands. The processing circuitry determines at least a first band width for a first band and a second band width for a second band. The processing circuitry determines at least a first offset associated with the first band and a second offset associated with the second band, and categorizes reconstructed samples of a first color component into at least the first band and the second band. The first band includes first reconstructed samples and the second band includes second reconstructed samples. The processing circuitry applies the first offset to first reconstructed samples of a second color component that are collocated with the first reconstructed samples of the first color component, and the second offset to second reconstructed samples of the second color component that are collocated with the second reconstructed samples of the first color component.
