  • Patent number: 12260875
Abstract: A method of phrase extraction for ASR models includes obtaining audio data characterizing an utterance and a corresponding ground-truth transcription of the utterance and modifying the audio data to obfuscate a particular phrase recited in the utterance. The method also includes processing, using a trained ASR model, the modified audio data to generate a predicted transcription of the utterance, and determining whether the predicted transcription includes the particular phrase by comparing the predicted transcription of the utterance to the ground-truth transcription of the utterance. When the predicted transcription includes the particular phrase, the method includes generating an output indicating that the trained ASR model leaked the particular phrase from a training data set used to train the ASR model.

  • Patent number: 12260937
Abstract: Redundancy information can be included in nucleotide symbol strings encoding underlying data. To avoid propagation of errors during the decoding process, during encoding, a constrained encoding can be performed before the redundancy information is computed. The redundancy information can be an outer encoding across multiple nucleotide symbol strings. An inner coding within nucleotide symbol strings can also be supported. Such redundancy information can be interleaved into the underlying nucleotide symbol strings to which the constrained encoding has been applied, resulting in a relaxed constraint. Insertion/deletion redundancy information can also be included in the resulting strings, and an insertion/deletion-sensitive sequence can be included to assist in recovering accurate sequences during decoding operations.

  • Patent number: 12256968
Abstract: A bone screw is provided with a resilient component that enables a surgeon to measure the amount of compression effected by the bone screw during installation and dynamically maintain that compression across the provided bone screw during fracture healing. The provided bone screw includes a leading component, a trailing component, and a resilient component that may be compressed between the leading and trailing components and which is arranged such that the bone screw's axial rigidity is maintained. The leading and trailing components may be engaged together or independently by a driving instrument. Advancing or receding only the leading component or only the trailing component alters a compression force effected by the bone screw between two bone fragments, enabling a surgeon to set a desired compression force. A measurement tool is also provided that may be used to measure an amount of compression force effected by an installed bone screw.

  • Patent number: 12260593
Abstract: Sensors coupled to a vehicle are calibrated, optionally using a dynamic scene with sensor targets around a motorized turntable that rotates the vehicle to different orientations. One vehicle sensor captures a representation of one feature of a sensor target, while another vehicle sensor captures a representation of a different feature of the sensor target, the two features of the sensor target having known relative positioning on the target. The vehicle generates a transformation that maps the captured representations of the two features to positions around the vehicle based on the known relative positioning of the two features on the target.
