Abstract: According to some embodiments, a skin treatment assembly comprises a handpiece comprising a distal end, the handpiece comprising a recess or cavity configured to receive a cartridge or other fluid container, a tip configured to be positioned along the distal end of the handpiece, the tip being configured to contact a skin surface of a subject during use, and at least one rollerball configured to extend to or near the tip, wherein the rollerball is configured to be in fluid communication with an interior of a cartridge or other fluid container secured to the handpiece, wherein the at least one rollerball is configured to contact the skin surface of the subject during use and to facilitate the delivery of fluids to said skin surface as the rollerball is moved relative to said skin surface.

Abstract: A filter element includes a first end cap, a second end cap, and a ring of filter media disposed between the first end cap and the second end cap. The ring of filter media circumscribes a central cavity. The filter element also includes an air-bleed conduit axially extending through the central cavity. The air-bleed conduit includes a first portion integrally formed with the first end cap and a second portion integrally formed with the second end cap. The second portion is configured to fluidly connect to the first portion.

Abstract: Technologies are generally described for valve assemblies that include a valve body whose inner wall defines two ports and a controllable flow path that extends along the inner wall between the two ports of the valve body. Each port may be fitted with a corresponding gasket. A rotatable member disposed in the controllable flow path of the valve body may include a hemispherical-shaped body with a substantially flat disk-shaped surface portion, and a seal ridge formed about a perimeter of the substantially flat disk-shaped surface portion. During opening and closing operation, the seal ridge may be selectively engaged with either one of the gaskets reducing an initial contact surface, and thereby reducing friction between the rotatable member and the gaskets.

Abstract: A two-piece multi-functional tray table cover is configured with a flexible sleeve and water-resistant prop-up tray to simultaneously provide a hygienic barrier to the tray table's surface, and a dedicated play, work, or otherwise use area for a user to place their toys, drinks, food, etc. The sleeve is comprised of a spandex material to enable a user to stretch the fabric around various-sized tray tables to accommodate different manufacturers, airlines, etc. The sleeve has a hook and loop fastener, such as Velcro®, on the top side, which attaches to a corresponding hook and loop fastener on the prop-up tray. In addition, the bottom side of the sleeve, opposite the top side with the hook and look fastener, has at least a pocket with a transparent window that enables a user to view a computing device's screen or other contents.

Abstract: A composition is described herein that includes a fluorosilicone, a silicon-based crosslinker, a reinforcement filler, a curing catalyst, a first non-reactive spacer filler, and a second filler comprising one or more silanol groups. Methods of using such a composition are also described.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing unsupervised anomaly detection by self-prediction are provided. In one set of embodiments, a computer system can receive an unlabeled training data set comprising a plurality of unlabeled data instances, where each unlabeled data instance includes values for a plurality of features. The computer system can further train, for each feature in the plurality of features, a supervised machine learning (ML) model using a labeled training data set derived from the unlabeled training data set, receive a query data instance, and generate a self-prediction vector using at least a portion of the trained supervised ML models and the query data instance, where the self-prediction vector indicates what the query data instance should look like if it were normal. The computer system can then generate an anomaly score for the query data instance based on the self-prediction vector and the query data instance.

Abstract: A fluidized catalytic reactor system cycles from 0.05-5% of catalyst at a time through a rejuvenation unit to be heated in the presence of oxygen to maintain catalyst activity. The use of the rejuvenation unit that may be 2% of the size of the main catalyst regeneration unit allows for reduction in equipment size and in catalyst inventory. The catalyst that is sent to the rejuvenation unit may be spent catalyst but may be partially or fully regenerated catalyst. The rejuvenation unit may be heated by combusting fuel or by hot flue gas.

Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for analyzing feedback data associated with a content and generating an interactive graphical representation of the feedback data. Upon receiving a request from a user, a feedback analysis system may access feedback data associated with a content from a content hosting server. The feedback data may include comments submitted by viewers of the content. The feedback analysis system may analyze the comments and generate an interactive graphical representation of the feedback data. The interactive graphical representation may include icons that represents keywords that are relevant to the comments and sentiments of the viewers derived based on the comments. Upon receiving a selection of an icon, the feedback analysis system may present a comment that corresponds to the keyword and/or sentiment represented by the icon.

Abstract: A decoder includes circuitry configured to receive a bitstream identify, in the bitstream, a current frame, wherein the current frame includes a plurality of regions, detect, in the bitstream, an indication that a first region is encoded according to a lossless encoding protocol and another region is encoded according to a lossy encoding protocol, and decode the current frame, wherein decoding the current frame further comprises decoding the first region using a lossless decoding protocol corresponding to the lossless encoding protocol.

Abstract: A reserve fuel tank retention and control (RTRC) module and a method of operating a vehicle including an engine and a main fuel tank containing a fuel, the method including mounting the RTRC module onto the vehicle; fluidly connecting the RTRC module to the engine and to the main fuel tank; actuating a valve of the RTRC module for a predetermined time to purge moisture in a fuel supply hose into the engine; and upon the main fuel tank becoming empty, actuating the valve to allow fuel from the reserve fuel tank to supply the engine.

Abstract: A battery pack assembly includes, among other things, a tray, a lid secured to the tray to provide an enclosure having an interior, at least one battery module disposed within the interior, a cross-member disposed within the interior adjacent to the at least one battery module, and a stanchion secured to the cross-member. The stanchion disposed entirely within the interior. The assembly further includes a fastener that extends through an opening in the lid to engage the stanchion.

Abstract: Provided are methods for determining the apolipoprotein E (ApoE) phenotype in a sample by mass spectrometry; wherein the ApoE allele(s) present in the sample is determined from the identity of the ions detected by mass spectrometry. In another aspect, provided herein are methods for diagnosis or prognosis of Alzheimer's disease or dementia.

Abstract: Methods and devices for separating an implanted object, such as a pacemaker lead, from tissue surrounding such object in a patient's vasculature system. Specifically, the tissue separating device includes a handle, an elongate sheath and a circular cutting blade that may extend from the distal end of the sheath upon actuating the handle. The elongate sheath, particularly its distal end, includes a non-uniform wall thickness having one or more thicker portions in the outer sheath, particularly the outer cam member, and/or one or more thicker portions in an inner member disposed radially inward of the blade.

Abstract: In one aspect, a liquid tank assembly is provided and configured to be mounted to a tractor. The liquid tank assembly includes a first tank configured to contain liquid, a second tank configured to contain liquid, a first support frame coupled to and supporting the first tank, and the first support frame includes a first mounting member configured to mount the first support frame to the tractor. The liquid tank assembly also includes a second support frame coupled to and supporting the second tank. The second support frame includes a second mounting member configured to mount the second support frame to the tractor, and the first support frame is coupled to the second support frame. In one aspect, a liquid tank assembly is provided and configured to be mounted to a tractor having a maximum width. A tank assembly width is no greater than a maximum width of the tractor.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions, reagents, kits, systems, system components, and methods for performing assays. More particularly, the disclosure relates to an assay composition for detecting luminescence, which comprises an alkyl diethanolamine, for example, N-butyldiethanolamine (BDEA). In emodiments, the assay composition comprises 2-dibutylaminoethanol (BDAE).

Abstract: A casting system includes a casting for an automobile vehicle having an interior section. Multiple central portions are individually positioned in one of multiple areas of the interior section completely encapsulated by a metal of the casting. An insert member is positioned in individual ones of the multiple central portions, the insert member having a higher melting point than a melting point of a metal of the casting the insert member displaces.

Abstract: Systems are provided for facilitating the building and use of models used to make data preparation recommendations. The systems identify ground truth from a plurality of notebooks and utilizes the ground truth to generate the corresponding data preparation recommendation models. The data preparation recommendation models are used to predict accurate (e.g., useful and relevant) data preparations steps based on user input and user notebook data. The data preparation computing system generates a recommendation prompt based on output from the data preparation recommendation model that can be viewed and/or selected by the user to be applied to the user's notebook data.

Abstract: A computing system may operate a LIDAR device to emit and detect light pulses in accordance with a time sequence including standard detection period(s) that establish a nominal detection range for the LIDAR device and extended detection period(s) having durations longer than those of the standard detection period(s). The system may then make a determination that the LIDAR detected return light pulse(s) during extended detection period(s) that correspond to particular emitted light pulse(s). Responsively, the computing system may determine that the detected return light pulse(s) have detection times relative to corresponding emission times of particular emitted light pulse(s) that are indicative of one or more ranges. Given this, the computing system may make a further determination of whether or not the one or more ranges indicate that an object is positioned outside of the nominal detection range, and may then engage in object detection in accordance with the further determination.
