Abstract: A gas burner and air supply system, including at least one elongate gas burner element connected to a fuel supply and a primary air supply. Arrays of fuel/air outlets disposed on opposing sides of the gas burner element output fuel and air for combustion and to form a cooking flame. An air plenum with a low pressure air supply is disposed above the each gas burner element and has an inverted V-shaped trough disposed immediately above the gas burner. First and second low pressure inboard air outlet arrays in the trough provide a secondary air supply to the combustion process. The plenum also includes at least one outboard array of low pressure air outlets disposed above and to an outboard side of each of gas burner to create a tertiary air supply, which creates a downward curtain of pressurized air that guides and directs heat from the flames downwardly.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining a source training dataset that includes a plurality of source training images and obtaining a target training dataset that includes a plurality of target training images. For each source training image, the method includes translating, using the forward generator neural network G, the source training image to a respective translated target image according to current values of forward generator parameters. For each target training image, the method includes translating, using a backward generator neural network F, the target training image to a respective translated source image according to current values of backward generator parameters. The method also includes training the forward generator neural network G jointly with the backward generator neural network F by adjusting the current values of the forward generator parameters and the backward generator parameters to optimize an objective function.

Abstract: A power module, such as a power module of a traction powertrain of an electrified vehicle, includes a power module cell arranged in a stack that defines a coolant supply manifold and a coolant return manifold. The power module cell includes a power stage having a substrate. The substrate includes first microchannels configured to input coolant from the supply manifold and impeded from outputting coolant to the return manifold, second microchannels configured to output coolant to the return manifold and impeded from inputting coolant from the supply manifold, and third microchannels crisscrossing and connecting the first and second microchannels in fluid communication.

Abstract: A string line apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may include a cylindrical elongated member having an elongated member body, an elongated member proximal end and an elongated member distal end. The elongated member may be shaped as a nail or a screw. The apparatus may further include one or more protruding arms that may be perpendicularly attached to the elongated member body. Each protruding arm may include an arm body, an arm proximal end and an arm distal end. An arm proximal end diameter may be greater than an arm body diameter. The apparatus may further include a fastener configured to removably attach to the elongated member body via the elongated member distal end.

Abstract: Electroactive dynamic lenses that have more than one degree of visual accommodation that supplements an accommodation provided by a human eye on which the electroactive dynamic lens is worn. The accommodation is provided via activation of a shape memory alloy structure through a transition. A desired change in a focal plane may be accomplished with structures that may be electroactively controlled to expand or contract during a transition of the shape memory alloy. In some embodiments, a ring containing one or more elements that expand or contract under the influence of an electrical current to modify an overall shape of a formable ophthalmic lens and accomplish visual accommodation.

Abstract: A station (STA) transmits to an access point (AP) a setup request frame indicating one or more first traffic identifiers (TIDs) associated with a trigger-enabled restricted target wake time (r-TWT) service period (SP). The STA receives from the AP a setup response frame indicating one or more second TIDs associated with the trigger-enabled r-TWT SP. The STA receives from the AP a first frame indicating a trigger-enabled r-TWT SP for the STA. Based on not receiving a second frame from the AP during a first time period within the trigger-enabled r-TWT SP, the STA transmits a non-trigger based frame following the first time period. The non-trigger based frame causes termination of the r-TWT SP.

Abstract: A test apparatus for simulating off-road conditions for a motor vehicle includes a platform, front and rear roller assemblies, a driveshaft and at least one resistance assembly. Each of the front roller assembly and the rear roller assembly is coupled to the platform and configured to receive a pair of wheels of the motor vehicle. The driveshaft is secured between the front roller assembly and the rear roller assembly and configured to transmit rotary power from one of the front roller assembly and the rear roller assembly to the other of the front roller assembly and the rear roller assembly. Each resistance assembly is coupled to at least one of the front and rear roller assemblies and is configured to vary a resistance of the at least one of the front and rear roller assemblies. An orientation of the platform is adjustable.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions comprising oolitic aragonite particles, wherein the oolitic aragonite particles have an average particle size of between 100 nm to 1 mm, and a Hunter brightness level greater than 88. Further disclosed herein are personal care and/or cosmetic compositions, comprising a carrier and the aforementioned oolitic aragonite particles. Further disclosed herein are methods of making and using the oolitic aragonite particles.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method and an apparatus including processing circuitry for video decoding. The processing circuitry decodes coded information for a transform block (TB) from a coded video bitstream. The coded information indicates one of intra prediction mode information that indicates an intra prediction mode used for the TB, a size of the TB, and a primary transform type used for the TB. The processing circuitry determines a context for entropy decoding a secondary transform index based on the one of the intra prediction mode information for the TB, the size of the TB, and the primary transform type used for the TB. The secondary transform index indicates a secondary transform in a set of secondary transforms that is to be performed on the TB. The processing circuitry entropy decodes the secondary transform index based on the context and performs the secondary transform.

Abstract: Handover is provided between a moving satellite terminal communicating via satellite with a destination node in a terrestrial network. Internet connectivity is provided between the satellite terminal and the destination node via an access gateway function (AGF). Embodiments provide transfer of an active PDU session such as voice or streaming over the internet protocol (IP) between a source AGF and a target AGF. Embodiments enable an AGF to understand when it needs to handover, where it needs to handover to and the protocol messages to achieve the handover.

Abstract: A cryogenic freezer and a method of controlling temperature within the cryogenic freezer. The cryogenic freezer includes an inner vessel. The inner vessel defines a storage chamber. The cryogenic freezer includes an outer vessel surrounding the inner vessel. The outer vessel may define a vacuum-insulated space in between the outer vessel and the inner vessel. The cryogenic freezer includes a temperature sensor configured to measure a temperature within the storage chamber. The cryogenic freezer includes a controller coupled to the temperature sensor. The controller is configured to pulse an amount of cryogen into the storage container to control the temperature within the storage container.

The method further includes determining reassignment information for the selected CAT. The method further includes facilitating taking control of the selected CAT of a blockchain of the object distributed ledger using a securely passing process and updating the selected CAT utilizing the reassignment information for the CAT to produce an updated CAT. The method further includes causing generation of a new block affiliated with the updated CAT via the blockchain of the object distributed ledger using the securely passing process, where the new block includes the updated CAT.

Abstract: A load control system may include one or more wireless control devices that may be associated via a programming device. An identifier for a first wireless control device may be determined in response to an actuation of a button on the first wireless control device. An association between the first wireless control device and a second wireless control device may be defined at the programming device. The identifier for the first wireless control device may be transmitted to the second wireless control device, which may cause the first wireless control device to enter a sleep mode. The first wireless control device may enter the sleep mode after an actuation of a button on the first wireless control device. The identifier may be determined in response to the actuation of the button on the first wireless control device and/or prior to the first wireless control device entering the sleep mode.

Abstract: An inventive light source includes a substrate and a set of multiple light-emitting elements. The substrate is transparent or reflective for visible light. The light-emitting elements are positioned on or within the substrate. Each light-emitting element comprises one or more inorganic microLEDs that are arranged to generate and emit visible output light to propagate out-of-plane relative to a corresponding localized area of the substrate around that light-emitting element. Each light-emitting element of the set being sufficiently small in at least one transverse dimension, and the light-emitting elements occupying a sufficiently small fraction of an areal extent of the set, so as to enable visual observation of a scene through or reflected by the substrate along a sight line that passes through the set of light-emitting elements.

Abstract: Extending the spatial coverage of a reference pressure network. Particular embodiments described herein include machines that initially determine that an estimated position of a mobile device resides outside a coverage area of a network of reference pressure sensors. Reference-level pressures are determined using measurements of pressure from the network of reference pressure sensors. A time interval and a plurality of wind speeds and corresponding wind directions are used to determine an adjusted location for each reference pressure sensor of the network. The adjusted location and the reference-level pressure for each reference pressure sensor are used to determine a pressure pattern, which is used to determine a reference-level pressure value for the estimated position of the mobile device. The reference-level pressure value is used for calibrating a pressure sensor of the mobile device, or for estimating an altitude of the mobile device for emergency response or navigation.

Abstract: A method of stabilizing nanoparticle zinc oxide and the incorporation of nanopoarticle zinc oxide into a wide range of dental compositions. The use of nanoparticle zinc oxide allows for greater concentrations of zinc oxide to be incorporated into dental compositions while maintaining translucency and increased antimicrobial activity compared to equivalent concentrations of bulk zinc oxide.

Abstract: This invention relates to a new and distinct everbearing variety of raspberry plant named ‘VR-16.004-68’. The new variety is primarily adapted to the growing conditions of the central coast of California and is characterized by the following: mid-season primocane production with large sized fruit of light-red coloration. Fruit is of consistent long conic shape, releases very easily from receptacle, is glossy and possesses good flavor. Foliage is flat to slightly concave, medium green, possessing weak rugosity, weak gloss and is always 3 foliate. Primocanes have an absent or very weak waxy coat and are densely covered with long dark red prickles.
