  • Patent number: 11914613
Abstract: Methods for data visibility in nested transactions in distributed systems are performed by systems and devices. Distributed executions of queries are performed in processing systems according to isolation level protocols with unique nested transaction identifiers for data management and versioning across one or more data sets, one or more compute pools, etc., within a logical server via a single transaction manager that oversees the isolation semantics and data versioning. A distributed query processor of the systems and devices performs nested transaction versioning for distributed tasks by generating nested transaction identifiers, encoded in data rows, which are used to enforce correct data visibility. Data visibility is restricted to previously committed data from distributed transactions and tasks, and is blocked for distributed transactions and tasks that run concurrently.

  • Patent number: 11912300
Abstract: Systems and methods to perform behavioral planning in an autonomous vehicle from a reference state involve generating a set of actions of a fixed size and fixed order according to a predefined methodology. Each action is a semantic instruction for a next motion of the vehicle. A set of trajectories is generated from the set of actions as an instruction indicating a path and a velocity profile to generate steering angles and accelerations for implementation by the vehicle. A trajectory filter is applied to filter the set of trajectories such that unfiltered trajectories are candidate trajectories. Applying the trajectory filter includes assessing the path and velocity profile indicated by each of the set of trajectories. A selected trajectory is used to control the vehicle or the action that corresponds to the selected trajectory is used in trajectory planning to generate a final trajectory that is used to control the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11915523
Abstract: A method includes receiving, from a camera disposed on a robotic device, a two-dimensional (2D) image of a body of an actor and determining, for each respective keypoint of a first subset of a plurality of keypoints, 2D coordinates of the respective keypoint within the 2D image. The plurality of keypoints represent body locations. Each respective keypoint of the first subset is visible in the 2D image. The method also includes determining a second subset of the plurality of keypoints. Each respective keypoint of the second subset is not visible in the 2D image. The method further includes determining, by way of a machine learning model, an extent of engagement of the actor with the robotic device based on (i) the 2D coordinates of keypoints of the first subset and (ii) for each respective keypoint of the second subset, an indicator that the respective keypoint is not visible.

  • Patent number: 11916807
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein enable a system to perform a robust evaluation of resource requirement recommendations through a simulated computing environment that closely resembles current conditions of a live computing environment. To achieve this, system characteristics such as CPU, RAM, and storage are extracted from currently available computing resources at the live computing environment. In addition, active software deployments at the live computing environment are randomly sampled to generate an activity dataset. The system characteristics and the activity dataset are then used to generate the simulated computing environment. Instances of a pending software deployment are then assigned to the simulated computing environment according to a resource requirement recommendation. The instances are then executed across various scenarios and analyzed to calculate a level of resource utilization.
