Abstract: A computer-implemented input-method editor process includes receiving a request from a user for an application-independent input method editor having written and spoken input capabilities, identifying that the user is about to provide spoken input to the application-independent input method editor, and receiving a spoken input from the user. The spoken input corresponds to input to an application and is converted to text that represents the spoken input. The text is provided as input to the application.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and method for securely entering a confidential access code into a user device. A system for allowing secure entry of a confidential access code into a user device may include one or more memories storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute instruction to perform operations. The operations may include receiving a request for confidential access, prompting the user, via the user interface, to enter a group of inputs into a single-entry field, receiving a dummy sequence of inputs, receiving or providing an indicator signal, receiving an access sequence of inputs, parsing the group of inputs received to identify the access sequence of inputs based on the location of the indicator signal, comparing the access sequence of inputs to the confidential access code associated with the user, and granting or denying access to the confidential information based on the results.

Abstract: A system for rotating sound or selective listening to sound provides for the ability of the apparent direction of sound sources in a listening environment to remain in consistent orientations in space despite rotations of the microphones used to capture the sound and despite rotations of the head of the listener, even when wearing headphones. Modules are provided in the system to distinguish the sound sources and their apparent directions, as well as to optionally rotate the sound sources in response to detected rotations of the listener's head and/or detected rotations of the microphones.
Abstract: A mower includes a pair of drive wheels, a pairs of non-drive wheels, and a mower deck. The mower deck includes a central deck housing, a first blade housing, a second blade housing, and an actuator coupled to the central deck housing and at least one of the first blade housing and the second blade housing. The first blade housing is pivotally coupled to a first side of the central deck housing so as to be angularly displaceable relative to the central deck housing, the second blade housing is pivotally coupled to a second side of the central deck housing so as to be angularly displaceable relative to the central deck housing. The actuator is configured to selectively raise and lower at least one of the first blade housing and the second blade housing relative to the central deck housing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for hotword detection on multiple devices are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving, by a first computing device, audio data that corresponds to an utterance. The actions further include determining a first value corresponding to a likelihood that the utterance includes a hotword. The actions further include receiving a second value corresponding to a likelihood that the utterance includes the hotword, the second value being determined by a second computing device. The actions further include comparing the first value and the second value. The actions further include based on comparing the first value to the second value, initiating speech recognition processing on the audio data.
Abstract: A power system includes a bidirectional power transfer inverter that receives grid power and can be electrically connected with electric vehicle supply equipment, and an auxiliary battery electrically connected with the bidirectional power transfer inverter and that supplies power to the bidirectional power transfer inverter and electric vehicle supply equipment while the grid power is unavailable.

Abstract: Techniques for provisioning storage may include: initially provisioning storage for a storage group of logical devices; tagging the storage group to enable autonomous storage provisioning; receiving a plurality of parameters used in connection with performing autonomous storage provisioning for the storage group, wherein the plurality of parameters includes a first parameter denoting a threshold amount of consumed storage of the storage group, a second parameter denoting a storage capacity expansion amount by which to expand the storage capacity of the storage group, and a third parameter denoting a system-wide threshold of consumed backend non-volatile storage; determining, in accordance with the plurality of parameters, whether to expand a current storage capacity of the storage group; and responsive to determining to expand the current storage capacity of the storage group, performing first processing to automatically expand the current storage capacity of the storage group in accordance with the second pa
Abstract: Example embodiments relate to multiple operating modes to expand dynamic range. An example embodiment includes a camera system. The camera system may include a first image sensor having a first dynamic range corresponding to a first range of luminance levels in a scene. The system may also include a second image sensor having a second dynamic range corresponding to a second range of luminance levels in the scene. The camera system may further include a processor coupled to the first image sensor and the second image sensor. The processor may be configured to execute instructions to identify objects of a first type in a first image of the scene captured by the first image sensor and identify objects of a second object type in a second image of the scene captured by the second image sensor.

Abstract: A Cost Sharing Method and Platform that uses scrapping API technology to collect and project key categories of items available for sale on multiple sites on the internet is disclosed herein. As disclosed, the Cost Sharing Method and Platform (hereinafter “System” aka Splitcart) allows the user to pay for that item or share the cost of the item with other people. Payments are recorded through the system and with payments processed upon finalization of the Splitcart as defined by the organizer. As configured, the organizer is able to choose how many splitters (contributors) there will be and decide if he/she wants to cover the cost difference if funds are not met and/or convert total funds collected to a gift card. The SplitCart may have social media contacts and or connections enabled to allow for a user to use their social media platform to recruit “splitters” and recipients to a cost sharing opportunity.
