  • Patent number: 11878037
Abstract: Described are means, methods, and compositions useful for treatment of multiple sclerosis through the utilization of fibroblasts and/or derivatives thereof to concurrently stimulate regenerative processes while inducing a protolerogenic immune modulatory program. In certain embodiments, fibroblasts are selected for the concurrent properties of immune modulation and regeneration by enrichment for CD73 expressing fibroblasts. In particular embodiments, stimulation of regeneration implies activation of endogenous neural progenitor cells. In some embodiments, stimulation of regeneration implies induction of remyelination. The utilization of fibroblasts as a superior source for immune modulation, prevention of immune mediated pathology, and activation of T regulatory cells is provided within the context of multiple sclerosis.

  • Patent number: 11878444
Abstract: A method for producing a hollow composite structure, such as a spar beam for use in a wind turbine blade, includes placing fiber reinforcement material around a mandrel within a mold, and curing the fiber reinforcement material. The mandrel is formed from a compressible material having a rigid neutral state with a rigidity to maintain a defined shape of the mandrel during lay up and curing of the fiber reinforcement material. Subsequent to curing, a vacuum is drawn on the mandrel to compress the compressible material so that the compressed mandrel can be drawn out through an opening in the composite structure, the opening having a size such that the mandrel could not be withdrawn through the opening in the rigid neutral state of the mandrel.

  • Patent number: 11880809
Abstract: A system and corresponding method exchange a nonfungible token (NFT) via blockchain cross-chain fungible token transfers. The system comprises first and second blockchains. The first blockchain holds the NFT in a first escrow digital wallet. The NFT is available for trade by a seller and is associated with a trade value. The first blockchain monitors a balance of fungible tokens, owned by a buyer, that are transferred from a second blockchain to a second escrow digital wallet of the first blockchain. In response to detecting that the balance monitored represents the trade value, the first blockchain transfers, simultaneously, (i) the NFT from the first escrow digital wallet to a first digital wallet of the first blockchain, the first digital wallet owned by the buyer, and (ii) the balance of fungible tokens from the second escrow digital wallet to a second digital wallet of the second blockchain, the second digital wallet owned by the seller.

  • Patent number: 11880865
Abstract: A computing system is configured to analyze historic data generated by an optimization system to provide recommended weightings for placement of creatives on publisher's pages. The weightings may be generated by providing forecasting the likelihood that a particular creative will lead to greater conversion or revenue compared to other creatives. The creatives may be grouped into one or more phases based on the amount of statistical data available for analyzing the particular creatives such that new creatives are given sufficient weighting to receive impressions despite the lack of historical data for a creative. Performance of placed creatives may be tracked by the passing of URLs with information attached to identify the particular creative and placement.

  • Patent number: 11881271
Abstract: To save power during a read process, NAND strings of each sub-block of a block have independently controlled source side select lines connected to source side select gates and drain side select lines connected to drain side select gates so that NAND strings of unselected sub-blocks can float and not draw current. To prevent read disturb in NAND strings of unselected sub-blocks, after all word lines are raised to a pass gate voltage, unselected word lines nearby the selected word line are lowered to respective intermediate voltages while lowering the voltage on the selected word line in order to achieve a channel potential gradient in the floated NAND strings of the unselected sub-blocks that does not result in read disturb. Subsequently, the selected word line is raised to the appropriate read compare voltage so the selected memory cells can be sensed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a vertical-type thin film transistor (TFT). The vertical TFT may comprise a source electrode and a drain electrode extending parallel to each other, with a semiconductor layer arranged in between the source electrode and the drain electrode. A single gate electrode may be embedded in the semiconductor layer, the single gate electrode comprising micro-perforations configured to control the flow of electrons therethrough in dependence on a predetermined voltage difference between the source electrode and the single gate electrode. The gate electrode masks a direct electric field between the source electrode and the drain electrode. A rate of flow of electrons through the perforations is increased with an increase in the predetermined voltage.
