Abstract: Methods for English Paper Piecing and paper piecing quilting projects comprised of using pre-cut individual pieces of nonwoven batting having uniform or non-uniform selected shapes and sizes as foundation pieces for creation of the patches used in the paper piecing projects and quilts and leaving those pre-cut pieces of batting that are the foundation pieces in-place in the sewn patches through completion of the paper piecing project or completion of a quilt.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for removing a layer of sediment which has settled on the bottom of a large water body includes using a structural frame configured to contain a bottom water flow and for containing liquid and suspended particles dispersed during removal of bottom sediment in a suctioning area that is at least about 3 square feet, up to and including 8 square feet, that has support elements and/or silt containing elements, with a plurality of supporting wheels. A sediment removing vacuum unit is operably associated with the structural frame to conduct suctioned bottom water flow through suction lines to a filtering station outside of the water body, such that the water can then be returned to the large water body.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a connector system for releasably connecting together tubes, for example medical tubing, and methods of making and using such a connector system, whereby the connector system includes a female coupler having a first passageway, a male coupler having a second passageway, a catch movably coupled to the female coupler, and a catch-receiving element coupled to the male coupler. The connector system further includes a release element movably coupled to the female coupler, whereby travel of the release element along or over a female coupler outer surface of the female coupler disengages the catch from the catch-receiving element to achieve a disconnected condition of the connector system. In particular, a computing device may obtain a general dataset including a plurality of general data, annotate a subset of the general dataset based on one or more classifier metrics indicative of a quality of the general dataset, train a classifier based on the annotated subset of the general dataset and the one or more classifier metrics, analyze each general data of the general dataset to determine a score for each of the one or more classifier metrics associated with the respective general data using the trained classifier, generate a filtered general dataset by filtering the general dataset based on one or more filters, train the small language model with the filtered general dataset, generate a synthetic dataset for refining the small language model, and train the small language model with the synthetic dataset.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, systems and compositions for food coloring. Embodiments disclosed herein may include methods and systems for combining tea leaves and water to form a feed slurry; processing a feed slurry to at least partially remove a tea essence from the feed slurry, thereby obtaining a tea extract with a predetermined amount of one or more of an aroma or a flavor; and adjusting a color of the tea extract, thereby obtaining a coloring agent with a predetermined color-related feature, wherein the coloring agent is added in a predetermined amount to a food product to adjust a color of the food product. Embodiments may also including coloring compositions, which may include a dry tea extract, wherein an essence has been removed from the dry tea extract to a predetermined amount, and a color of the dry tea extract has been adjusted to have a predetermined color-related feature.

The non-nicotine pod assembly has upstream and downstream ends and is configured to hold a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The upstream end may define at least one upstream recess, and the downstream end may define at least one downstream recess. The device body defines a through hole configured to receive the non-nicotine pod assembly. The through hole includes an upstream sidewall and a downstream sidewall. The upstream sidewall may include at least one upstream protrusion, and the downstream sidewall may include at least one downstream protrusion. The at least one upstream protrusion and the at least one downstream protrusion may be configured to engage with the at least one upstream recess and the at least one downstream recess, respectively, so as to retain the non-nicotine pod assembly within the through hole of the device body.

Abstract: A handheld wrap-dispensing tool for dispensing wrap material from a roll over packages to be securely shipped on a shipping pallet. The tool enables quick and easy changing of the roll, thereby greatly reducing time needed to replace rolls of wrap material. The tool includes a pole having a handle end and a locking end having a retaining pin. A compression spring is mounted along the pole and abutts a lock collar, such that the spring is compressed in accordance with the position of the lock collar along the pole. A bottom cone has a through-slot and a retention notch perpendicular to the through-slot that allows passage of the retaining pin, and then allows rotating the pole so as to seat or unseat the retaining pin in the retention notch to attach or remove the bottom cone from the locking end so as to quickly change the roll of material.

Abstract: This invention relates to compositions comprising heparin-like oligosaccharides with defined structures that are covalently connected together at a precise distance from each other by flexible linkers, and to the method for the manufacture of said oligosaccharides. Particularly this invention relates to the design and the method of manufacturing of ‘spaced-heparinoids’ of Formulas 1 and 2, wherein S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5 independently comprise mono- or oligosaccharides sequences connected by length-adjustable linkers, L1, L2, and L3. The spaced heparinoids are synthesized from short sequences of synthetic oligosaccharides with varying sulfation patterns which are covalently linked to each other through aliphatic linkers. The present invention also discloses a new method of manufacture that will generate non-polydisperse and linear head-to-tail heparinoids that are linked to each other through a “isocyanate-amine” amide bond forming chemistry.

The connection point allows the ID tag system to be removably attached to a leash or collar. The interchangeable tile may be configured to display one or more types of information such as letters, numbers, designs, emojis, or messages.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes a blower housing and a filtration system positioned in a path of cooling air from the blower housing. The filtration system includes a filter housing comprising a base that defines a series of radially extending fins extending circumferentially around the base, and a filter cartridge defining a longitudinal axis and being removably arranged within the filter housing. The base includes a drain and a channel formed radially between a first raised surface and a second raised surface, and the drain is in fluid communication with the channel. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate in engagement with both the first raised surface and the second raised surface so that fluid flow is inhibited through the channel and to the drain, and a filter media extending axially from the bottom endplate.

Abstract: A cooled axial flux electric motor includes a rotationally-fixed stator defining a rotational axis and having a plurality of conductive stator magnetic poles arranged radially about the axis. The motor also includes a rotor spaced axially from one side from the stator and rotatably mounted coaxially with the rotational axis and defined by inside and outside diameters. The rotor has a first exterior surface facing the stator and a second exterior surface arranged opposite the first exterior surface. A ferromagnetic rotor core defines the rotor second exterior surface. The rotor also includes alternating south and north pole permanent magnets (PMs) arranged on the rotor core symmetrically around the axis and facing the stator. The rotor additionally includes channels extending radially outwardly across the rotor and configured to direct a coolant, via centrifugal force, from the inside diameter toward the outside diameter as the rotor rotates about the axis.
