Abstract: A firearm grip has an elongated body having an upper end having an upper attachment facility configured to attach to a firearm, the elongated body having an opposed lower end having a second attachment facility, a palm rest element having a base element having a third attachment facility configured to removably connect to the second attachment facility, the palm rest having a palm support element connected to the base element, and the palm support element defining a central aperture receiving the base element and having an upper surface encompassing the base element. The palm support element may be pivotally connected to the base element. The palm support element may be connected to pivot about a pivot axis transverse to a major plane of the firearm. The pivot axis may be at a level below the opposed lower end of the elongated body.

Abstract: Liquid pharmaceutical compositions of apixaban or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are described. More specifically, stable oral liquid pharmaceutical compositions of apixaban for oral administration are provided, wherein the composition is stable for extended periods of time. More specifically, stable liquid pharmaceutical compositions of apixaban at concentrations of 0.4 mg/mL or more are provided. Stable oral liquid compositions of apixaban, methods for their administration, processes for their production, and use of these compositions for treatment of diseases treatable by apixaban are disclosed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and compositions comprising hyaluronic acid (HA) hydrogel in combination with a saturated fatty acid for treating osteoarthritis. In some embodiments, aspects of the disclosure relate to pharmaceutical compositions comprising HA hydrogel in combination with a steroid. In some embodiments, the pharmaceutical compositions may be administrable via local, topical, and injection. In some embodiments, the pharmaceutical composition may be administrable by intra-articular injection.

Abstract: A vehicle device for cargo space of a vehicle includes a container configured to be arranged behind a rear bench seat in an installed state and having an access on the vehicle cab side. A headrest is mounted on the rear bench seat displaceably between an upper position and a lower position. The container and the headrest are arranged on a common axis that is configured to be oriented parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle in the upper position of the headrest. A pivotable lid is designed to open and close the container. The opening of the container is free in the lower position of the headrest.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided that includes a trailer mounting bracket configured to be mounted onto a trailer, and a bending member carried by the trailer mounting bracket. The bending member has a unitary section that is at least 3 millimeters in length in a lateral direction and is made of plastic, or rubber, or combinations of plastic and rubber. The bending member is also longer in length in a vertical direction than in the lateral direction and longitudinal directions. The bending member is configured for being deflected from an at rest position upon the application of force thereon, and can return to this position when the force is removed. Also, the bending member is configured for attachment to a skirt of a trailer.

Abstract: The invention provides, inter alia, methods of prognosing a subject with, or suspected of having, multiple myeloma. In certain embodiments, the methods entail testing the gene expression levels of enolase 1 (ENO1), fatty acid binding protein 5 (FABP5), thyroid hormone receptor interactor 13 (TRIP13), transgelin 2 (TAGLN2), and replication factor C (activator 1) 4 (RFC4) in a biological sample isolated from the subject. The invention also provides methods of treatment for multiple myeloma, as well as kits, oligonucleotides, and systems for performing the methods provided by the invention.

Abstract: A method of preparing a multi-layer coated article is disclosed. The method utilizes a high transfer efficiency applicator comprising a plurality of nozzles configured to apply a stream or droplets of a coating composition. The method includes providing a substrate bearing a partially-dehydrated aqueous coating layer, preparing a compatible coating composition, and applying the compatible coating composition to the substrate. The compatible coating composition is prepared by providing a test layer of the partially-dehydrated aqueous coating layer, applying a plurality of candidate cosolvents to the test layer, identifying at least one compatible cosolvent, and formulating the compatible coating composition as a waterborne fluid suitable for overspray-free application.

The system generates a plurality of sector datasets associated with the plurality of sectors. The system processes the plurality of sector datasets to generate a relational data structure. The system determines outliers in the relational data structure corresponding to anomalous data updates.

The gauge set is configured to be at least partially inserted into a slot set of a stator. The body of each gauge part includes an abrasive portion extending along a length of the body. The controller is in communication with the gauge holder and configured to move the gauge holder in a first direction toward the stator so that the abrasive portion of the body is at least partially inserted into the respective slot and move the gauge holder in a second direction away from the stator so that the abrasive portion of the body is removed from the respective slot.

Abstract: An integrated circuit is described. This integrated circuit may include an optical transmit circuit that outputs optical signals (such as optical pulses or FMCW optical signals) having a carrier-frequency (or chirp) pattern as a function of time, where a modulation signal, associated with an optical source and corresponding to the carrier-frequency pattern, includes a predistortion to reduce a nonlinearity associated with the optical transmit circuit. Moreover, the integrated circuit may include a feedback circuit that measures the nonlinearity (e.g., using an interferometer) and that dynamically adjusts the predistortion based at least in part on the measured nonlinearity. Note that the integrated circuit may provide closed-loop adjustment of the predistortion. In some embodiments, the correction of the nonlinearity may be performed in the frequency domain.

For example, in media assets featuring multiple content streams, each content stream may represent an independent view of a scene in a media asset. During playback of the media asset, a user may only view content from only one of the multiple content streams. The user may then switch between the different content streams to view different angles, instances, versions, etc. of the scene.

The media server activates an input device connected to the display device in response to the request. The media server restricts use of the display device to the input device while the application remains active on the display device.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an activated composition comprising a spherical activated carbon particle of a sphericity greater than 0.6 and at least one of a plurality of possible active agents. The composition effectively sequesters the malodors, which includes complex fishy smell containing no amines, sulfur-containing malodors, and volatile organic compounds such as formaldehyde, volatile aldehydes, and ethylene. The activated composition of the present invention may be useful in consumer, personal care, home care, and healthcare-related products and industrial applications.

The method can comprise advancing a dilator assembly over a portion of the guidewire that is exterior to the tissue opening; extending a first dilator segment from the dilator assembly; advancing at least the first dilator segment into the tissue opening to dilate the vessel while the first dilator segment remains extended from the dilator assembly; extending a second dilator segment from the dilator assembly, where the first dilator segment remains coupled to the second dilator segment and partially extends from the second dilator segment; advancing the first dilator segment and the second dilator segment into the tissue opening to further sequentially dilate the vessel while the second dilator segment remains extended from the dilator assembly.
